Anything more advanced seemed like it may be overstepping a tad. Plus with a GM being summoned, it'd probably be risky for Jaiden to do anything... transformative/altering directly.

Essentially he's planning to back up/save the characters (the team) data.
It should ideally be small enough to not get him in trouble, or not much anyways.

That way character (and inventory) information could be restored at a later moment.

That being said, we're waiting on a couple other persons.
Even less worry since the holidays are around the corner (and my birthday soon too wooo)

Perhaps as a side note, to not over-reach as much.
I honestly didn't expect to encounter the jester so soon.
Jaiden (the player) Who has a career in cybersecurity, is trying to open a few programs in the background that may interfere with the game a little. Would something along the lines of saving/backup character data, be alright?

A perk/skill from leveling up a branch. Or using a skill book or some such similar for when you learn a spell.

Essentially just saying you learn skills from leveling up.
And high tier weapons can offer additional skills/spells based on quality

So there's equipment cards & skill cards.
Equipment cards are the actual physical item. They're not usually on your hot bar.

Black Whip Descrip: grants starshine attack skill card. Passive when equipped: Vampire kiss, drain 5 hp per attack

Black Whip's: Starshine Attack
One armed melee skill: heavy slash

That one's neat though not sure if I caught that before.

I'd assume that weapons & items could be cards too.
Just a separate system from combat if you want.
Higher tier weapons giving a special skill card maybe?

Long arms
(Secret artillery branch if you level up a lot)

It sounds very complex but there's a way to make it... sort of work.
Not in the same manner but still.
