Geo would twitch a grin that he remembered (if vaguely) some old game encounters. That game, WOW if Geo could recommeber corectly had to be a handful of generations back by now. The gaming station was probably only on its second model! How long ago could that have been? Definitely not a century, though with some advacements in computer gaming could feel like it. It wasn't really a game Geo had messed around with in his own young years, but he wasn't an old man either, so a confusing time frame.

The spearman had an excitement to his movements. He was enjoying playing the role itself, and doing his best to act like he was from an old martial arts film. The world suited that archetype after all, an action hero or two trained in 'shaolin arts' in the like. It did spark a rising flame just imagining it. Copying the moves and choreography would be a completely different matter, but he could at least do some basic tricks. Skills would hopefully take care of the rest.

The grin under Geo's mask grew bright hearing Doc's conviction. It was always great to have a good partner in a fight. He'd give a nod, not wanting to get too loud when getting closer to the enemy groups.

Geo did grow a bit worried as the bandit's charged slow down. He wasn't sure if his aggro pull had weakened or for something else messing up. That was when the shovel-strike came at him. The avian reacted in a slight stumble with it, seemed they nearly jumped back as the strike came toward their abdomen. As Geo would push the pole of their spear to the side to redirect the shovel's blow away from him. The avian seemed decent at defending, although jumpy.

"F--!"
Geo almost blurted out a curse.
The counter-attack would be sloppy in comparison. Geo would swipe the tip of his spear toward the bandit's neck at an awkward angle. He waved it like a massive brush or cane trying to spread a swipe of paint across a canvas. It was probably helpful the foe was exposed with their own awkward weapon. Geo hoped his decent stats would carry through enough to cause some damage.
I'll try to post Monday night

Geo may have slightly exagerrated the tale but the feeling of taking down certain tricky enemies was the same. It had been a while since they had picked up that particular game, so a majority of it was a memory based off the intense battles and memories to be had. A good chunk of the excitement and experience he was eager to have here. Although, of course wanting to gain a different kind of experience first before rushing into a fight of overwhelming numbers that is.

He was for more concerned on gaining practice with the battle system first & foremost, and growing steadily. Being overwhelmed by enemy numbers versus the challenge of skill from a strong opponent never felt quite as rewarding. That was the mindset among taking down bosses and the ilk in the first place. Although certain bosses did spawn endless mobs, those were never really fan favorites for a reason.

"Murlocs?"
Geo paused. "those... frog things that tend to swarm like crazy in one of those old MMOs? Heard they could get one-shot pretty easy I think, but sounds like a hassle to kite a lot of 'em. Well, I think anyways. Frogs tend to have of eggs so..."

"Well after this area, we could try power-farming somewhere. Go a bit further ahead and try to pick off one stronger enemy off at a time. But... picking up as many quests at once is pretty good too, though harder to track."
Geo shrugged and would offer a tactic for later.

"Eh, once I get one down to half health. Ye can probably start on your dibs~. Don't think they'll take too long. Just don't want to worry about all of 'em."
Geo nodded, and would crouch to get closer to one of the guards.

Geo would go ahead and spin his spear about in the circular motion. This time rotating it behind his back and pointing it from under his left arm toward one of the armed guards. It seemed that was more Geo's movements, than the skill itself. But none the less he had the faint glow of using the skill Flurry to taunt at the opponent.
Wanting to lure them closer and away from the others, though there was always a low chance to inflict confusion. Geo doubted he'd land the status effect this time.

Oops sooon
Guy would walk into town watching as the clouds slowly gathered and thickened. It would probably rain within the next couple hours or so, at least drizzle down. Once they made it toward the town gates, he would look over toward Ali. Before giving just a little bow to her, as they would soon split away.

"This is, where we should part ways. Perhaps, I could meet you again by noon?"
"But, I have a house to clean a bit further away."
