Jonathan Edwards's prose is gorgeous. Unlike some of the other early American writers I've been reading, I'm just soaking up every word. He's so amazingly eloquent. I don't know how some people are bored by his writings.

-Maddie- We're going to try and see if we can puzzle out exactly what's happening to the soul. Meanwhile, if you can, we need to make an effort at interacting with the people that have been changed. -It does seem like if there's a source, he's targetting this group specifically. After all, all four people we've seen change have had some relation to this group.
-Ruby- But Svár happened literally aeons ago. What if the source has been doing this for all that time? What if it was just a fluke?

-Maddie- We can't find one. It seemed like there was something... projecting, maybe, but if there's really a source, there wasn't the data to find it. We've modified our devices for data collecting to try and account for it, but we're not sure if it'll work.

-Maddie- We noticed that many connections between certain parts of the soul and the part of the mind we traditionally associate with decision-making were severed. We're not exactly sure what the other side of the connections were, though.
-I can kind of see what those other ends might be.
-Maddie- Yeah, but it's just inferences. It'll probably take quite a bit more research.

-Maddie- But yeah! I chanced upon the opportunity to get data when the evilification was actually happening! Data analysed it and got some really interesting information, which combined with the information we have from Tempo is very telling about what's happening.
