*Motions to the left one*
I’ll see you there soon.

*Goes through it; Maddie follows*

But I don’t see it as a reason to not try.

Exactly! Violet is one of my best friends here. I've known her since I joined this group! We can't just abandon her.

This gets worse every time something is added.

Violet is still alive! We've got to do this.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>

No, it’ll be much more exact than that, at least when finding the storm itself. Dealing with it and getting anything or anyone out of it once we do, however, will be immensely tricky.

Can you talk us through some of that trickiness?
<Snipped quote by Balance>

If anything of the sort works, I’d imagine your brand of order will do loads more for us than chaos.

Probably! My second kneejerk reaction is Maddie Hatter, who is super adaptable.

But in short, it is a void like plane where things can can only exist as mental summaries of their existence (ie. as thoughts and concepts) due to the lack of even a single dimension in which matter can exist. Because of this there is also no concept of "direction" in that void and one will just randomly start appearing in subsequent nearby locations when they move. If a non-sentient object is not observed, accounted for, or otherwise expected to exist by a sentient entity that also enters non-dimensional space at around the same time, it will cease to exist. Likewise, should a sentient entity fall unconscious or leave without taking the object with them, it will also cease to exist.

Huh, this is pretty cool. I wonder how Arthur's powers of imagination might fit with this, if I can build something off of it. We'll have to brainstorm some time. Clarifying questions:

1. Is there such thing as a "subsequent nearby location" in a place without direction? How can people "observe" a non-sentient object?
2. Does an unconscious sentient entity cease to exist, or is it the non-sentient entities that it apprehends?

We’re going to need to throw all conventional tactics out the window when it comes to working with this storm and the Outside as a whole. It’s incredibly difficult to predict.

<Snipped quote by Etcetera>

Believe me, the sentiment is a shared one.

Well, in a silly mood, I'd call someone unpredictable, but I guess what I'd rather do is call someone extremely adaptable. In either case, would calling anyone from the whole "Equestrian embodiment of chaos" shtick be helpful?
<Snipped quote by Balance>

Certainly not family. Otherwise, only if you think they have skills that can contribute.

I'm not sure what skills would be relevant here. I can do revival of persons, and I can find and repair stuff really, really well. I'm good at support. We need Outside protection, so thank you very much! What else might we need?

How would she not die of dehydration?

<Snipped quote by Etcetera>

I imagine that any number of questions you propose to me lead back to the same “I’m not sure” conclusion.

Do you think it would be wise to bring anyone else along to find her?
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>

What I’m implying is that anything could have happened in there. That being one of the possibilities.

Twice in a row, too!
