Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

Oh, and I did retract the clause about HAVING to read every post to date. But if you still want to, then more power to you. It should be a fairly interesting read and will give you deeper insight on the characters currently in play.
@Invader Len

Yes. That scar would be gone, unless it is something that the character actually desired to remain there, like a tattoo.

You three are the first to respond. I will accept all three of you. Just post a character sheet when you are ready, no big rush, within the next five to seven days is fine. Wait till I link your character into the opening OOC post before you begin.

And remember, you all have the option to write your character into any point of the story thus far. As you should see, this story guages activity based on exp points. I'll adjust your exp points depending on where you would like to join in the story. From there, you will earn exp points at the same rate as everyone else.

I suppose reading the OOC and the character sheets should be good enough. Especially the OOC, you should read that post very thoroughly, and also read anything link to from it such as the quest post and static characters.

The rest of the IC posts are basically character building. Could be a fun read though. ;)
Hello fellow writers!

I'm the GM of a small group role play called "Strange World", and I'm temporarily opening this RP back up. I'm looking to add one or two new people as one of our writers has been MIA from this site for about a month.

The problem with a small RP is the creepy crawly pace it can enter once one of it's members leave. Don't get me wrong, this is supposed to be a slow paced RP. One or two posts a week is slow in my book. That's all we're asking for here.

I will now sum up the plot in a very condensed manor. You write as a character that has woken up in a strange Sci-fi city with no knowledge of how you arrived. Your character was abducted from some point in factual human history up until 2015. Through this character, you can live vicariously in this strange world and solve the mystery of why you are here.

This RP is a long story. Despite being around for multiple months, it is still in very early stages, approaching the end of chapter one to be precise.

Please click here to check this story out further. If you are interested, read the opening OOC post very thoroughly, making sure to check out anything linked to it. Then if you are still interested, you will be allowed to insert your character at any point revealed thus far, instead of starting from the very beginning.

Reply here or in the OOC section of the RP if you have any questions. After all your questions have been answered, make a character in the character tab. I will link that character in the opening OOC post when I approve it.

To provide you with a small teaser, there will eventually be super powers and grand diverse adventures galore!

Thanks!
Hello to anyone outside this RP that might by chance be reading this post.

It seems as though one of our team members in this story has dropped off this site completely. I am now reopening this RP to find at least one more person to join us.

This is a slow paced long term RP. I only ask for one post a week, two if you're feeling frisky.

Please read the opening OOC post to get an idea what's going on. Then read the character sheets that have currently been made. Then, if you are interested, please skim through the IC posts.

Your reward for thoroughly catching yourself up on all the major plot points will be the ability to insert your character at any point to date. In other words. You can start your character from the waking up scene, the two archways scene, or anywhere in-between.

Just let me know if you'd like to join!
Okay, so if @Airalin doesn't know anyone who would be interested, then I will advertise the open spot to the whole site.
Is this still going? I posted but i can never really tell if somthings died or not :0

Yes! This is still going. Based on the "wait for two others to post before you rule" @Airalin and I have been waiting on you this time. No worries though. I don't mind a slow paced RP at all.

So what do you ladies think about letting one more person in on this RP? Someone to replace Rechonq as he seems to have gone MIA from this whole site. Have you made any friends in another RP? We can have him/her skip ahead and join us at the two archways.

What felt like an eternity had passed. The water that had been filling the room had finally stopped rising. This left hardly a foot's distance from the top of the water and the low lying ceiling. To keep from drowning, Ricardo had to jump up and doggie paddle. Eventually he would tire and fall back down only to jump back up. If only he had learned how to float on his back, he thought desperately to himself.

Eventually Ricardo started to get used to the desperate pattern of hopping helplessly around and the feel of snakes slithering casually along his body. If things kept going this way, he could even see himself getting used to the situation entirely. Then maybe he could think of some way out of here.

But things did not stop there; the snakes had other plans in mind. One at a time the snakes crawling around on his body started biting down. The pain did not stop at the puncture wounds as each snake seemed to be injecting him with some kind of stinging venom. Then, one more snake crawled up his torso and wrapped itself tightly around his neck, making it hard to breath.

In spite of this torture, a small mocking voice in his own mind reminded him that he wouldn't die. But death, at this point, would be a welcome escape from his new reality. Despite this death wish, his body's instincts would not stop. He had to continue jumping up for air. He had to struggle.

Blinding panic had become the only real emotion left in his heart.

@rechonq@Classpet@Airalin

Rechonq hasn't been online in a while. I hope he is okay and will be back with us soon. Until then, let's keep moving forward ladies. :)
