This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.
My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.
How do you propose to handle any pokemon that evolve from trading, friendship, or like Glacion that can only evolve in certain places??
There is going to be a professor that will specialize in Pokemon Evolutions. You'll have to visit this professor in order to make these types of Pokemon evolve. This applies to all forms of evolution besides regular leveling up.
The Mienfoo made a huge mistake by being distracted by Chloris Synthesis, as it fell to the ground. Chloris screamed as her full strength came back to her. Not wanting to miss her chance Liz threw a Pokeball at the injured pokemon.
"Let's go Mienfoo, let's be crazy together!!" She said to the Pokemon.
Mienfoo tried to avoid the Pokeball but couldn't manage to move in time. The red light brought her inside. She struggled for a few seconds.
One shake.... Two shake....
But that's all she had left in her. The Pokeball dinged to signal a successful capture!
As Rin swatted down another shoot of tall grass to their left, Anusobeket blasted another low-hanging branch with Water Gun to her right. The system seemed to be working pretty well in regards to eliminating the obstructions in their path, but so far yielded no wild pokémon. That is until the duo switched places. Just as Anu turned her head left she caught glimpse of a wild Furret jumping in the air! Preemptively she unleashed her attack only for the water to slink right over the wild pokémon's head as it landed back into the grass. Assuming it was the Furret from earlier, Anusobeket began charging another Water Gun in her mouth as she adamantly chased after the Long Body Pokémon. Only a gurgled, "Toto!" alerted Rin of their Totodile's hunt. Guessing pretty quickly what could have caused Anu to act this way, Rin followed quick on her heels.
"Nice one, girl! As soon as you see whatever pokémon we're looking for, you blast her good, okay?" The hunt was on. Would the two catch up to this jollyFurret? Would Anusobeket defeat a Furret this time? Would Rin try a different strategy? Who knows? What's for certain is that they were gonna try their very best!
Busted! Furret had accidentally alerted the trainer and Pokemon to her presence. Oh well, it was time to change up the game then. Grass began to fly up into the air all around Rin and Anu, making it seem as if the two were surrounded. In actuality, Furret was just using Quick Attack to run around in a random pattern. When she was ready, she zipped straight over to Anu to give her a nice hard welcome. The attack wasn't meant to cause major damage; she was only playing with her target.
Chloris began healing, but the Mienfoo attacked, making it hard for her Pokemon to heal. It even seemed to enjoy it as well, with a borderline sadistic smile.
"Wow, your tough and borderline deranged!! It will make it all that sweeter when I catch you bugger!! Now Chloris, if you can, use Synthesis one more time, we won't go down without a fight!!"
Mienfoo smiled as if she was taking Liz's deranged comment as a compliment. When Liz decided to call out for another synthesis, Mienfoo decided to get up close and personal with her next attack. With incredible speed, she began charging forward, preparing to use Double Slap.
Chloris's entire body began to glow brightly, even in the evening sun. It was distracting and caused her not to notice a large rock on the ground. She tripped and began tumbling on the ground. When she quit rolling, she was sitting just a few feet away from Chloris's shining body. A little spooked by it all, she scrambled backward to stand and regroup.
Bayleef was caught completely off guard by the fighting pokemon. Concerned Liz ran up and checked on Bayleef. He looked up at Liz the pain in his eyes evident.
"Are you ok buddy?? I am sorry, it seems she is very strong, are you able to stand??" Chloris nodded and stood slowly. "Good job my friend, now use Synthesis, gain some of your power back, and than we will take down this pokemon, even if it means we can't catch her!!" Chloris started glowing, preparing to recover.
Mienfoo laughed at Liz as she ran over to Chloris and started babying her. What weaklings, the both of them, she thought.
Then Liz gave the word for Chloris to use Synthesis. Mienfoo wasn't going to let her work go to waste however. As Chloris's body began to glow, Mienfoo unleashed a barrage of Swift stars. The landed quickly, putting an abrupt end to Chloris's attempt to heal. Again, Mienfoo smiled menacingly at both trainer and Pokemon.
Chloris begins to heal but is hit by a strong Swift attack. In the end, she does manage to heal... somewhat. Chloris regains 1 Power. She now has 10 Power left
"Dile!" Anusobeket shouted back fully alive with energy.
"Then let's get to it! First one to find a wild pokémon wins!" Rin's Pokédex beeped with a notification from Liz, but their yelling drowned it out. Not needing any further encouragement, the two of them raced further into the tall grass ahead.
Unbeknownst to Rin and Anu, they had picked up a follower as they tracked through the tall grass. Staying just behind and out of sight, the jolly Furret was having fun. Occasionally, whenever the trainer and their Tododile were at their most unaware, she would leap up into the air and cover her mouth at the same time to keep from laughing. Her sneaky skills were incredible... until she accidentally let out an audible peeping laugh while in the middle of one of her highest jumps yet.
Rin and Anu have a jolly, playful Furret in their midst. She is level 17.
The Mienfoo countered Phoniks perfectly, she had to get stronger still, the people and pokemon we're leaving her behind. Liz recalled Phoniks before it the wild pokemon could finish off it's prey.
"I wanted everyone else to catch up to your mischievous ass first, but it looks like I don't have that luxury. Come Chlrois, throw some magical leaves!!" She threw out the Bayleefs pokeball to start the battle.
Mienfoo watched as the red light took back recalled its opponent into a red and white ball. It was then and there that she decided one thing. That would never be her fate, slave to a child. She considered herself way too good for that.
So when Liz threw out another Pokeball, Mienfoo was already charging forward. As the red light was disappearing, Chloris did as he was told, shooting out rainbow colored leaves. Unfortunately, the wild Mienfoo had already positioned herself inches away from where Bayleef materialized. From this close distance, she used Detect once again in order to predict the exact trajectory of the oncoming attack. Doing so allowed her to avoid the attack, while at the same time, sliding Bayleef's feet out from underneath him.
Bayleef crashed to the ground, unsure of what just happened. Mienfoo had managed to stay in his blind spot the whole time. He knew there had to be a target around, hence the Magical Leaf command, but where. Meanwhile, now behind Bayleef, the wild Mienfoo made deliberate eye contact with Liz and smiled, tauntingly.
