Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

@TheForgottenArc how about we start off your post with Daniel calling indigo?

@Balthazar007
Was wondering.. are you going to trigger an event for the old rod? Or is that something we're supposed to trigger?

I hadn't quite decided how I was going to introduce the old rod, so let's go with this. You two are lucky and find two abandoned old rods next to a lunchbox full of super spoiled food. (Meaning their original owners never came back for them and probably never will)

I don't need to make an IC post, unless y'all want me to do so.
Two quick things:

One @TheForgottenArc: It sounds like, at the end of you last post, Daniel was finding a pearl. You don't need a response from me to pick it up and add it to your inventory, as it is a known item in the area.

Two @prettydrops: Would you please add 4 Pokeballs to your inventory as well as the three Kee Berries that you found.

And on these lines, please do your best to keep your inventory and Pokemon up to date in your character sheets, for your own benefit really.
@Balthazar007 wasn't sure if there were items in the forest or not but I figured I'd give it a try!

He found a Kee Berry bush! Other than that, there is nothing else in the forest right now.
Yet another hour passed with his pokemon working hard and gaining experience, with Indigo perhaps finally finding some kind of item...

Indigo searched the forest high and low, but there didn't seem to be much left to find, besides Cheri Berry bushes. This was true until he ran across a berry bush that looked different than the rest...

(Indigo has found a rare Kee Berry bush with three ripe berries. Also, Hawka and Hero can gain another level for training.)

The Cherubi went flying to the side, taking an unexpected hit from Twiggy, which caused a critical hit, severely damaging the Pokemon.

(When Daniel's wild Pokemon encounter finishes, Twigy and Burmy can gain one level each for getting involved in this skirmish. )
I hope I didn't control too much. But I thought you said we could at least a little, If not the case, I'll just edit out the fight or something.

You didn't control too much. In fact, you didn't control enough. After I introduce a wild Pokemon, my work is done. You should go back and edit your post to conclude this encounter. Finish the battle and catch one of the Pokemon (or both, or neither, up to you). Daniel was given five empty Pokeballs by the professor, and he's only used one so far on Burmy.
@TheForgottenArc@prettydrops

I just made a quick IC reply to your posts. And you'll see, that from now on when I introduce a Pokemon, I will also reveal the Pokemon's level. I want y'all to use this level as a gauge for how difficult it will be for you to catch the Pokemon. For instance, Daniel can catch that level 10 Cherubi, but it will be a struggle since his Pokemon are at lesser levels.

You two should NOT try to give wild Pokemon levels when you introduce them. E.g. if you were to run into a Pokemon that you already know is in the area, don't mention it's level, just interact with it. I will decide it's level based off your interaction with it.

And finally, with the introduction of Cherubi, there are no more new Pokemon that your characters can find in Breezy forest... for now.
Well I'm training with them, aren't I? He tried to convince himself. Yet all of a sudden, his thoughts were interrupted by a pokemon Indigo hadn't seen before!

The wild Cherubi (lv 7) was caught in the middle of moving from one bush to another. At first, he froze, hoping that the trainer would mistake him for a regular berry. But when Indigo kept staring, he knew... His cover was blown.

As they were walking they heard the bushes next to them rumble and two shadows Burst out from the bushes, Dan didn't know what they were but they seemed mad over something.....

A wild Cherubi (lv 10) was pissed off at a small wild Rattata (lv 4). The Rattata was trying to escape but he had been hit with Leech Seed and was exhausted. Cherubi had him cornered. She was growling at him, ready to launch another tackle.

Why was this Cherubi so angry? Probably because Rattata ate her vestibular second head, as it was missing.
OH! and please tell me how it is, That's the most I've ever written in one sitting and I want opinions and advice (PM's Preferable though.)

I'm not going to comment much on writting. Practice makes perfect, and you're getting better. But I would like to say, your Burmy in my original post was female. Indigo caught the male Burmy. Also, the attack Burmy was using was Struggle. Also, I'd rather you not mention levels per se I'd rather levels be treated as a background game mechanic.

On the note of levels however. Both of your Pokemon gain 1 level for training, bringing Burmy up to 4 and Turtwig up to 7.

Also @prettydrops, your Pokemon gain 1 level each for training as well.

I will get reply posts up in the morning, or perhaps here shortly tonight. I just got off work.
He had seen the Luvdisc around, but this time a different pokemon came out from the water to challenge Hero and him!

Indigo's brave new challenger was a... boot!? Some poor tourist must have lost their boot to the waves of the shore.

From above, a small group of Wingulls flew down and landed on the shoreline (four Wingulls). They were close to Hawka, but they weren't paying her any attention, nor were they too interested in Indigo or Daniel. They were just taking a quick rest. Soon they would be off again.

(There are no more water Pokemon available at your current experience level, not till you get a fishing rod for that qwilfish at least. And it's not sunset or sunrise, so there are no luvdisc around. Wingull is the best I could do. Lol)
also: edited my post slightly. had indigo find one more pearl after 30 minutes of searching with his other pokemon. I can easily change it back if you want me to~

That's fine. But no more. Pearls are only supposed to drop about 3 per day. You could have found on that washed up during the night and one from the morning. But the chances of finding a third is pushing it.
