I have a few minor comments that I'd like you to reexamine, the main one is the assertation that the entire city's missings person list are people that confronted her. That's a little overboard considering all the other bad things that happen in a city that could land someone on a missings person list. Perhaps change that to MANY of the names on the list are people who faced her.

I'm walking into work now, so I can't go into further detail till tomorrow morning. If you change that one thing first, you can go ahead and post. I think she would fit perfectly in the Governing District that I've described in the 1st IC post.

Name: Ari / Arthur
AKA: The Divine Punisher

Ari/Arthur can take on any human appearance but, they tend to alternate between one of two main appearances Ari (Female) and Arthur (Male). When in combat, they take on a war form which has no gender.

Power Rating: 10,000

Personality: As their sin would suggest, they are very prideful. They consider them self better than any demon, monster, or mortal. They also believe themselves better than most other Angels, as they are from the upper ranks. They are quick to pass judgement and punishment. At the best of times, one can find them offering their help and advice, even when it is not welcome.

Biography: In ancient times, they were a powerful force in the fight between Angel's and Demon's. But once that ancient war ended, their skills and fortitude were less needed. So, without an enemy to keep them busy every day, they turned their focus on the other angels.

Tired of hearing complaints from the other angels, the few angels that ranked higher than them decided to send them to the mortal realm. They were tasked with protecting mortals from demons and other dark forces. They accepted this as a honoring mission, and descended to the lower realms. It was the perfect excuses to get them to leave.

Many Millennium later, Ari/Arthur continues the mission. The corruption lying within Chronus (and Vrathe City in particular) brought them here over a decade ago. Since that time, many of the more active demons and malicious spirits have been eradicated. A few heavily corrupted mortals have felt their judgement as well.

Abilities and More

War Form: In their war form, they can fly, shoot metallic-like feathers as projectiles, and manifest weapons made of light.

Angelic Senses: They can sense when someone evil is nearby, the stronger the evil, the easier it is to sense. They can also hear the thoughts of others when the thoughts are filled with malicious intent.

Heaven's Light: They can emanate a light filled with angelic energy from any part of their body. This can be used as a weapon against evil or simply to illuminate dark places.

Otherworldly Physical Prowess: Fueled by an inner light, Ari/Arthur is many times stronger, faster, more durable than an average human of their size.

Technically Immortal: If someone were to destroy their physical body, they would reappear in Heaven. Then, with the approval of the highest angels, they could return to the mortal realm. But time does move differently in the everlast, so their return may not be quick by mortal standards.

The Seven Sins

Overview

This RP is intended to be a long running, small group RP with seven main characters (The 7 Sins). There will be a generally overarching plot that will change over time; consider this as different story arcs in your favorite anime. With seven main characters at any given time, there can also be seven sub-plots (character arcs), but at the end of the day, all the sub-plots should tie back to the main plot in some respect.

Plot

This section of this post will update whenever we start a new story arc. At the moment... this RP is in it's infancy stage. Characters are being introduced and the world is being established. In other words, we are breathing life into the setting and establishing a lore. As such, this arc will simply be called "Vrathe City"

Setting

This RP takes place on a planet known as Chronus in a universe separate but similar to ours. Think of this planet as Earth in the not so distant future, say around year 2,500. Unlike our Earth however, this planet is inhabited by all the creatures of lore, from elves to dragons and more. In other words, we ask the question, how would life have progressed if all our fantastical stories were true and grew up along side technology.

The main setting of our RP is "Vrathe City". It is a massive city and the capitol of this world. You can find more information on this in the first IC Post. You can also find descriptions on sub-divisions of this city or "districts" in that post. By reading these descriptions, you should be able put together an accurate picture of life in this city and beyond.

Rules

I would assume everyone knows general RP rules, such as no double posting and no God-Modding other player's characters. Beyond that, I'd just like to say, keep your post quality high (grammar and such), while keeping your post lengths low (one to four solid paragraphs).

Power Ratings

Power Rating is the one and only stat that we track in this RP. Every character, big or small, has a Power Rating. As time progresses, more and more non-player controlled characters (with different power ratings) will be posted to the Character Sheet section. Basically, if your character battles a NPC, they win as long as their Power Rating is greater.

There are seven different styles for characters. Each Sin (main character) represents one of these styles, but all other characters will also have one. Each style behaves differently when faced with another, having advantages over some and disadvantages with others.

Using the chart in the hider below, whoever has the advantage should use the appropriate multiplier on whichever character or character(s) has the lowest power rating. Then that result is added as a bonus to the character with the advantage.

Match-Up Chart

e.g. A main character with a PR of 9000 goes against an army of 100 baddies at 800 PR per soldier. This means 9000 against 8000. So you should win, but let's say the enemy has a 1.5 advantage due to typing. 1.5 will be multiplied against their 8000 to equal 12000. Now they will win. If you had the advantage, 1.5 would still be multiplied against their 8000 to equal 12000 (i.e. a 4000 increase.) You can then add that extra 4000 to your Power Rating.

Perhaps you want to know why one style is weaker than another. In the hider below, you can see the reasoning used.

Match-Up Logic

Weaponry & Technology > Martial Arts & Ki Control
Weapons were invented to close the gap between fighters of different skill. The deadly force behind weapons such as guns, tend to overpower classical fighters.

Weaponry & Technology > Brute Strength
Brute strength fighters make easy targets for weapons users, but they can absorb more damage than classic fighters.

Weaponry & Technology > Ferocious Energy
A good weapons user can usually immobilize a Ferocious combatant before they get close, but they do make harder targets and ignore pain longer than most.

Martial Arts & Ki Control > Brute Strength
The Martial Arts were specifically tailored to overcome the strength of an opponent, to use their power against them.

Martial Arts & Ki Control > Ferocious Energy
Martial Artists are well equipped to anticipate and counteract Ferocious fighters, but their tenacious nature and energy can sometimes pose a problem.

Martial Arts & Ki Control > Magic Manipulation
Martial Artists can usually anticipate or deflect magic due to their sensitivity to and control of energy, but advanced magic users can be overwhelming.

Brute Strength > Ferocious Energy
Those with immense power can absorb damage from Ferocious attackers long enough to grab and immobilize them. Once immobilized, ferocity is a non-factor.

Brute Strength > Magic Manipulation
With strength comes a large internal well of power. This power increases the durability of Brutes when facing magic users.

Brute Strength > Pure Magic
As mentioned, Brutes have some protection against magic. This includes Pure Magic, but to a lesser degree, since Pure Magic is stronger in terms of force.

Ferocious Energy > Magic Manipulation
The well of energy flowing through and around Ferocious fighters is practically limitless, a great defense against magic.

Ferocious Energy > Pure Magic
Again, Ferocious fighters have a natural defense against magic, but Pure Magic users are more capable of handling this than regular users.

Ferocious Energy > Corrupt Magic
The protective energy of Ferocious fighters remains in place, but against the manipulative nature of Corrupt Magic users, this protection starts to wain.

Magic Manipulation > Pure Magic
Magic Manipulators or 'regular' magic users study both forms of magic, Pure and Corrupt. Pure magic is older and thus easiest to understand and counter.

Magic Manipulation > Corrupt Magic
Magic Manipulators can counteract Corrupt Magic similarly to Pure Magic, but Corrupt Magic is slightly trickier. It's always evolving, like a virus.

Magic Manipulation > Weaponry & Technology
Weapons and Technology users can counter magic users with intelligence and willpower, but they have little natural protection against magic forces.

Pure Magic > Corrupt Magic
Pure Magic exists for the main function of destroying Corrupt Magic, Pure and simple.

Pure Magic > Weaponry & Technology
With no natural defenses to magic, weapons/technology users are quite susceptible to might of Pure Magic users.

Pure Magic > Martial Arts & Ki Control
The Ki control ability for martial artists can be effective against Pure Magic users but often comes up short.

Corrupt Magic > Weaponry & Technology
Corrupt Magic came into existence specifically for tormenting those without magic. Those that rely on Weapons and Technology are the most vulnerable.

Corrupt Magic > Martial Arts & Ki Control
The level of protection provided by Ki Control is usually negligible when faced with the manipulative nature of Corrupt Magic.

Corrupt Magic > Brute Strength
While Brute Strength users have a natural defense against magic because of their internal power, Corrupt Magic counters this with deceitful tactics.

Dice Rolls

With Power Rankings, there is room for dice rolls, but I'd rather not make this RP dice roll centered. So here are the two simple rules on Dice Rolls:

#1: Dice Rolls are only needed when challenging another Player Controlled Character or a Major NPC. All NPCs will be labeled as Major or Minor. Your character can defeat any Minor Character without a dice roll. Simply post about how you beat them IC, as long as your power rating was higher than theirs.

#2 I perform dice rolls and reveal the results. So as a rule of thumb, you should only ask for a dice roll Wednesdays through Fridays, when I am more likely to be online, due to my work schedule.

Minor and Major Characters

I will create the characters that oppose our main characters. These are NPCs. Anyone can control a minor NPC or multiple minor NPCs in their posts. There is a limit however; each minor character has a "Mob Max/Post". So you can't exceed more than that many minor characters of that type in a post. However, you can control multiple types of minor characters to create larger groups.

Major characters only appear at my discretion. At which point you can control their actions to a degree, but you can't defeat them without a successful dice roll.

Also at my discretion is the right to exceed the normal "Mob Max/Post" for minor characters. In other words, to create dramatic moments, I can summon an army.

Character Growth

This is the final need to know thing about this RP. Any time you beat enemy(s) in battle, you may increase your character's "Power Rating" by 10% of your fallen enemy(s) power rating(s).

e.g. If you post about defeating 5 enemies that each have a power rating of 50 each, then their total power rating would have been 250. Ten percent of that is 25, so you can now add 25 points to your character(s) power rating.

I will not monitor the growth of every character. We will be using the honor system. Anyone that abuses the honor system will have to leave the RP. If you forget to add to your character's power rating soon after a battle, that is your loss. DO NOT add points for battles long since passed.

May I Join this RP?

This RP is currently full, with all players besides myself having two characters. If you are an outsider, you may PM me directly, and let me know that you are interested. If one of the current players drops out or would like to give up one of their characters, I will contact those that PMed me first.

In the case that one of our users is simply giving up one of their characters, you (as the new user) won't be using their character. You will be making a new character to fill in the spot. This is the case unless you really want to continue using that character and they approve of letting you.

Feel free to chat over there in the OOC section. I'll be using the 0th OOC post to lay out rules and such. Also, I've used the 0th Character Sheet post to lay out a guideline for... well... character sheets (go figure). Everyone can go ahead and start drafting their characters whenever you like.

I'll be adding more background information about the RP later, but here are the highlights that might help you with your character sheets:

The main setting for our RP is an extremely large and slightly futuristic city (yet to be named). There are many districts throughout the city. It's not official and there are no strict borders, but the districts do divide up wealth classes and races (just like a real city). Elves, dwarves, humans, spirits, and more all live in this city, and generally keep to their own districts. But there are districts like Downtown, Midtown, and other major hubs where the races and classes mingle more than others.

Some parts of the city look very futuristic. Others are run down. In the rich parts of the city, you'll find hover cars (not flying cars). And in the poorest parts of the city, you can still find animal drawn wagons and dirt roads.

Your characters don't have to be from the city (especially the Demon and the Angel). There are lands outside the city, but this is the largest city on the planet and is, in fact, this world's official capitol.
