When you are so emotional you are close to dropping from every rp you are in just so people won't have to deal with you anymore

When a character that meant something to you gets torn down and thrown away like trash... 😢

Lyra looked back at Ba-Ba when he mildly chastised her. She stepped back and looked down. "I'm sorry," she mumbled, not even sure anyone heard her small voice.

After the funny stranger left Lyra waited until Ba-Ba was done, shuffling her feet and biting her lip impatiently. She bounced up and down on the balls of her feet as she watched the girl servant take the pretty mirror away. Lyra wanted to whine but held it in. Ba-Ba didn't like it when she whined like a puppy. He said it made her seem like an animal. This confused her because all of the icky people in the court called her an animal when Ba-Ba wasn't around. So was she an animal or was she a people? But Ba-Ba got mad when she asked that and she didn't like to see him mad. He was scary when he was mad...

Finally Ba-Ba turned his attention back to her. She smiled as bright as the summer sun. "Can we play hide and seek Ba-Ba? Please? Hide and seek outside!"Lyra's favorite game was hide and seek. Ba-Ba was better at it than the guards. They all got mad too quick and gave up too fast. They were no fun.
But Ba-Ba always found her fast. He was really good at hide and seek. Lyra was still too young to realize that running about and giggling was a dead giveaway to your hiding place, especially if Ba-Ba made her laugh by pretending he couldn't find her.

She really wanted to play with the pretty mirror...
Maybe if she played hide and seek with Ba-Ba first he would let her play with the pretty mirror later.
Or if not, maybe she could sneak into Ba-Ba's room and just look at it without him knowing...

I am surprised that Lost did not tell Falk about Lyra. Is he protecting her or did he just forget about her? If the former, aww how sweet! If the latter, how rude! lol

@LadyRunic
Would Falk even care about a tiny human like Lyra?

Since we four seem to be the ones who have time to post regularly (I hope everyone else is okay) perhaps we could come up with something to involve all of our characters? Just a thought.
@BlackPanther

Argh! I keep forgetting to tag people in my posts! *bangs head on desk*
"I want to-" Lyra started before being cut off by the guards that arrived with a visiting person. Lyra darted behind her Ba-ba, her usual hiding spot when strangers came. Gripping some material of his pant leg, she peeked around his leg to see the stranger.
He had funny horns and a funny tail and funny legs. Lyra wanted to giggle but kept quiet. Ba-Ba had told her about how some people might look funny but they were really mean. She wasn't scared by any means, but she was apprehensive as any small child is in an unfamiliar situation.

Then the funny looking stranger gave Ba-Ba a present. The four year old's curiosity was immediately peaked and she came out from behind his leg a little more to try and see what it was. It was a pretty mirror and she immediately wanted to touch it. But it was Ba-Ba's present, not hers. Although it was not always fun Lyra knew how to behave. Maybe if she was good Ba-Ba would let her play with the pretty mirror later.

She looked back at the stranger and up at his funny horns. She wanted to touch them too. Did they pull off? Were they hard or soft? They looked bumpy. She wanted to climb the stranger and feel the funny horns. Did he play with his tail like Nikko? Did his tail come off like Nikko's and then he grew another one?

Lyra's curiosity was unconciously causing her to inch her way out further from behind Feoras. She cocked her head like a puppy, wondering who this funny stranger was and if he was fun to play with. Her large bright blue eyes stared at him, like she was trying to see into his soul and decide if he was nice or mean.
@Belle
No
He's wearing the exact outfit in the pic I used for him

Okay thank you :-) gonna post when I get home from work today
@BlackPanther
Before I post, what is Feoras wearing? I mean is he wearing a cloak or something similar?
@LadyRunic
Gotta hope that Lyra doesn't get her hands on it, cuz she is a curious little thing...
Lyra's head snapped towards the door at the sound of a much sought after voice.
"Ba-Ba!" she squealed excitedly and jumped up, poor Nikko rolling off of her lap and shaking his head a bit at the sudden move by his favorite perch.
Racing to the door, the child opened it and jumped right into the arms of the Summer King. "Ba-Ba I was looking for you," she said, her face pulling into a frown and folding her arms crossly. "They said you left," then she suddenly smiled. "But Cook gave me cakes! Nikko had one and I had one, but the lady didn't want one. Now we can play!" Lyra giggled then hugged him tightly.

If Raven ever meets Lyra she'll give her a bunch of candy.

This is now my new goal!!
Raven... the name fitted the female fae before her. Dark, mysterious but with a beauty that made you want to know more. It was good to know where she stood with this Raven. And the way Jessalyn's name rolled of off her tongue made a shiver go down her spine.
And, surprisingly, it was not an entirely unpleasant sensation...

It was a mild shock when she stepped forward when told, doing so in an unthinking manner as if someone had been her on autopilot. She had understood that names were powerful, but she hadn't known they were this powerful. She could only pray she would not regret giving it to Raven.

But once again the fae surprised her by returning not only Jessalyn's name but Lysander's as well. She wondered if she could shorten it to Jess, would it affect her the same way?
That was apparently a question for a later time because moments later Raven was moving on. Jessalyn gave Lysander the go ahead to follow and he cautiously do so.

The breeze was pleasant and the smells from the flowers of the Spring land were inviting. She could feel the late afternoon sun on her face as she inhaled deeply.
Then proceeded to give a small sneeze as something tickled her nose.

What was that? Jessalyn's head turned sharply. Had that been... a giggle? Who knew what there was in this land? Although it was hard to imagine anything in this place being that dangerous. The name 'Spring Court' was not exactly terror inducing.
Jessalyn desperately wanted to question Raven but was at the same time worried about drawing attention to them. Raven was helping her, for the time being. The last thing she wanted was to make trouble for her. She wondered what kind of home a fae would have? Would it be in a tree? A cave? A normal house? A gingerbread house?
To occupy her time she thought on what to call Lysander from now on that was close enough to his name for him to respond but without danger of someone taking him from her. She finally decided on 'Sandy'. As for herself she could either go with Jess, Lyn or Mary, as a play on her middle name Marie. She immediately rejected Mary, feeling that it was too Mary-had-a-little-lamb. Maybe Lyn? Lyn had an almost muscial sound to it, like the strum of a harp string. To make her name something desirable to say seemed like a good idea.

She tripped a bit over some kind of root and Lysander immediately slowed down.
"Go on L... Sandy. Go on boy," she said, encouraging him to resume a brisk pace. She refused to slow them down.
