I mostly enjoy writing in the Casual section of the guild. Character development and exploring character relationships motivate me. I like to really think myself into my character and their view on others and the world around them which is why I prefer to stick to one character per roleplay. I love world-building but I am also easily overwhelmed with very detailed concepts I haven't been met with before. So you could say I love a decent amount of world-building and prefer original builds. Once everyone has settled, expanding that world and its concept is a great way to create more depth and keep me as a player hooked as I love to discover new things!
My favorite genre is and has always been fantasy. I guess you could say I love escapism to a point where I like to flee the mundane world entirely. I also feel drawn to sci-fi roleplays but I have noticed that those usually intimidate me. I feel like I am not adept at writing about technology and all that sci-fi goodness so I mostly just pine over how awesome some OOCs look and never apply to them.

Although the days of witch hunts are long past us, life isn't roses. While the upcoming election is threatening witches with a potential anti-witch politician claiming the title of president, unrest is stirring in the corners of the world. A rise in threats has been detected - unnatural beings, magical beasts, and other supernatural phenomena pull media attention and feed directly into an anti-witch campaign.
A D&D One-Shot. A group of adventurers is hired to find the missing grandson of a wealthy couple visiting the town. He was taken by a mysterious knight who rode his horse into the deadly woods nearby, taking the young boy with him. But the knight is not a simple man, he is said to be a resurrected ghostly figure forever in search for a squire, kidnapping young boys who never return home.

The Cult of the Dragon has come to Phlan, a lawless refuge on the Moonsea. Now, with no significant authority to stop the cult, other power groups in the Realms – the Harpers, Order of the Gauntlet, Lords' Alliance, and even the Zhentarim – must unite to stop the cult from fulfilling its dark purpose in the city. Meanwhile, Rhana, a drow rogue with a questionable past, and Salissa, a dhampir bard with flair, find themselves somehow involved in this as they tackle different missions aimed at stopping the cult.

I always write my IC posts in gray due to finding the white color pretty straining on the eyes.

She didn't really notice that the smile she was thrown wasn't too genuine, she was just so glad to have someone speak up to her. Her green eyes gazed the girl up and down and then she almost winked - but in last second could surpress it. Dark hair, awesome eyes, nice face, sweet smile - even though not meant sweetly -, cute body. Her type of woman indeed.
"If you don't mind, I could totally use a refreshment." Alycia got up and looked questioningly at Allia - uh and pretty name too! "I'm Alycia", she introduced herself. "Do you think they have lemonade?"
Her shorts offered a free look at her long legs, her arm-free white top showed a pattern of blue spirals and lines that gracefully formed to a unique flower, although her cleavage was covered, her breasts still looked good in this top, around her waist she sported a simple blue-white checkered top that had been covering her arms earlier when it was cooler outside, the girl's feet lied in plain creme ankle-boots. All in all she didn't look like a style queen, yet the easy look seemed to lie good on her.
@Kodiak I already thought so and didn't mention the Slytherin family (with one even in Azkaban) for that matter. Just checking if the name thing was intentional or if you changed his name throughout making the sheet and forgot to change Nickanmes a well or whatever. But I already thought it was intentional, so all good.
I am glad to have another teacher around. Thought the picture just makes me crave the next season of Criminal Minds so badly.
@sakurasan Sorry to bother you. In your post (maybe I got it wrong though) it seems like your character in our shared room and speaks to Alycia there - but Alycia already went to the room with the couches in my firts (and only) post. So I am confused? Did your Allia go to the room yet? I'm sorry for bothering you and being so stupidly confused :/
The warriors lead you out of the chamber's cave you've been kept in and up to the surface. The sudden light makes your eyes hurt and you have to close them, shield them from the sun, for a while. Though the light is bright for you, you also notice that the horizon is settling for the night. The sun is slowly vanishing over the trees.
You get led down a way of earth-people, people who were born and raised on the ground, and then you stand in front of the graceful warrior queen. She gives her two warriors that showed you the way a nod and the next moment they leave your side to stand in the gathering crowd.
"Sky girl", she speaks, "You attacked my warriors for no reason, you came into our land, with harm. But you came fallen from the sky, not able to know our rituals and rules." Some people in the crowd scream a word in their language and even you can guess that it's meaning is as much as "kill her". The woman raises her hand and the shouts die down immediately. "My people demand your head. But I work towards peace. And no more blood shall be spilled than the one you will offer for your freedom. Ten cuts will mark your body, and you will swear fealty to me." The crowd again says one word, this time it is a word you heard before: Heda! Heda! Heda!
Again her hand silences the noise. "Bow before me now. Get on your knees. And promise me your ever lasting loyalty. Vow to fight for me, die for me, and follow my orders as I speak them, shall our ways ever cross again in any way." Green eyes lie on your sky-blue ones. She's waiting. You have to kneel down now.

"Then that's settled", she answers and nods once. Her hair gracefully falls over her back. She then answers your actual question. "You will leave without any of your objects." It couldn't be more clear that worlds lied between who you are and who this woman seems to be. Her whole being, her whole attitude and clothes -- she was definitely never introduced to the kind of techonology you knew up in space. This woman grew up in a destroyed world, a world after bombs had dropped and destroyed almost everything 100 years ago. The woman was about to turn, but held for a second to talk again. "My warriors will get you soon. Be ready to leave. And when you do -" Her eyes darted at yours with a dangerous look in them, a clear warning that next time her mercy would be far far away. "- don't come back." With that obvious threat she leaves you alone, locked up in the little chamber of yours, but soon you would be at least free. You would be able to stay alive. That is if the queen woman keeps her word.
About an hour later - or at least that's what you'd guess - two warriors step inside the chamber and grab you. They say something, but you cannot understand their language. The two men drag you out of the chambers and then look at you. One them speaks in English. "You do what Heda says. No tricks, skai-prisa." He looks at you to see if you'd be a harm, but he seems to not think so. "You go, you kneel, you bow head, you do not speak if not asked. Understood?" Your freedom was so close. Though without any supplies, how long would you survive in the woods?

@Kodiak I love it! I am very happy to have a second teacher in our rows now. You are allowed to move the character sheet to the character tab. Please note that nothing should be taught in first year class that we haven't talked about. While I am sure you know very well of what would be appropriate for 1st year's to learn and not to learn until later on in their education, I'd rather have a simple heads up before you chose a specific topic to teach the kids or anything :)
That said, I really like the sheet. And do not really understand why Ethan's nickanmes are Robert or Rob. And seeing that his whole family has the last name Chambers and his seems to be Chambers Graves, I am a little confused on that point too.
@DisguisedDemon I've been noticing that some tend to post 2 or 3 times while some post once or not even got their first post up yet duo to time issues (or whatever reason, doesn't matter). Is there any rule on waiting? Or shall we just post as we like?
