I mostly enjoy writing in the Casual section of the guild. Character development and exploring character relationships motivate me. I like to really think myself into my character and their view on others and the world around them which is why I prefer to stick to one character per roleplay. I love world-building but I am also easily overwhelmed with very detailed concepts I haven't been met with before. So you could say I love a decent amount of world-building and prefer original builds. Once everyone has settled, expanding that world and its concept is a great way to create more depth and keep me as a player hooked as I love to discover new things!
My favorite genre is and has always been fantasy. I guess you could say I love escapism to a point where I like to flee the mundane world entirely. I also feel drawn to sci-fi roleplays but I have noticed that those usually intimidate me. I feel like I am not adept at writing about technology and all that sci-fi goodness so I mostly just pine over how awesome some OOCs look and never apply to them.
When it comes to fantasy I feel right at home. For my mind, it is much easier to grasp magical concepts and worlds than sci-fi ones. As a result of this, all the worlds I write up (be it here as a GM or elsewhere) tend to be fantastical in one way or another. I especially enjoy adventure RPs and witch RPs. I like to see new magical systems and am always eager to learn more about the worlds I RP in.
Additionally, all my characters are queer, always. Since I am queer myself and can't imagine playing straight ^^
Although the days of witch hunts are long past us, life isn't roses. While the upcoming election is threatening witches with a potential anti-witch politician claiming the title of president, unrest is stirring in the corners of the world. A rise in threats has been detected - unnatural beings, magical beasts, and other supernatural phenomena pull media attention and feed directly into an anti-witch campaign.
A D&D One-Shot. A group of adventurers is hired to find the missing grandson of a wealthy couple visiting the town. He was taken by a mysterious knight who rode his horse into the deadly woods nearby, taking the young boy with him. But the knight is not a simple man, he is said to be a resurrected ghostly figure forever in search for a squire, kidnapping young boys who never return home.

The Cult of the Dragon has come to Phlan, a lawless refuge on the Moonsea. Now, with no significant authority to stop the cult, other power groups in the Realms – the Harpers, Order of the Gauntlet, Lords' Alliance, and even the Zhentarim – must unite to stop the cult from fulfilling its dark purpose in the city. Meanwhile, Rhana, a drow rogue with a questionable past, and Salissa, a dhampir bard with flair, find themselves somehow involved in this as they tackle different missions aimed at stopping the cult.

I always write my IC posts in gray due to finding the white color pretty straining on the eyes.
Alycia was just boarding the boat, pulling her lugagge behind herself and trying to not trip over her own feet as the bag around her shoulder dropped down her shoulder and almost fell off her arm. Barely she managed to reach her room without any further obstacles. She dropped her belongings by one of the beds carelessly and took a deep breath, straightening her hurting back. "Uff", she said thankfully that the weight was off her body. "Finally." For some reason, that neither of the people she had been guided to talk to wanted to explain, her luggage had not been taken to her room like promised. Instead she had to run all over the harbor and get her bags and suitcase from some stuck-up woman that first wanted a prove that those "lost belongings" were actually hers. After proving so by listing what was inside of the bags, she was finally allowed to take them and get them all over the harbor to the right boat.
Her eyes quickly wandered around the room and then she left it to see where the noises of talking people came from. Finding herself in some sort of sitting room, she looked around with a soft, curious smile on her lips. Quiet a few people were gathering around in what seemed to be the kitchen nearby, a single girl sat on one of the couches, trying to pretend to read but Aylcia doubted she could focus.
She pushed her long brown hair back over her shoulders and rubbed her back with her hand. The pain was bothering and really sharp. She sighed, she couldn't really do much about it now anyway, and then sat down on a couch to at least not need to stand anymore with her hurting back. The seating position helped for a few seconds, then the pain came back. But it was still better than standing.
She looked at the people chatting cheerfully and listened to their conversation as she tried to ease the pain with some strokes of her hands to her lower back and shoulders.
This is only for on the boat. In other places it'll depend on how they sleep, like I already know they're gonna have to do bunkbeds in a small room in one country cause it sucks to be that close to people all day. And others will probably be all girls and guys in their own rooms.
@DisguisedDemon How exactly will this RP work? Are there gonna be tasks for the characters to master? Anything given by the GM, any guide at all? Or completely free without any GM guidance of the story?
@Natsu No it's not if that makes the story you want to perform. But if you wish that for real life, then yes it's wrong :P you can surely ask someone to bully you xD xD oh man never thought I'd say something like that haha.
@AbysmalDemon We both will have to step back a little and let some other people post first now before we go ahead again. They need a chance to interact with us and the measuring tapes now too ;) But just saying I enjoy reading your posts!
How exactly would that RP look like? What we get some tasks to do or is this completely free-style writing? Where will the RP start? Will there be GM posts that give situations or tasks or anything that guides the RP a little?
:: Personality :: Jocelyn is a rather quiet woman and will rather observe than speak up herself. She is in good body condition and very fast on her feet. She doesn't lose breath easily and can walk a while before needing a rest. On the other hand she is not too awesome on puzzles or tricks, although she tries her best to solve any problem that comes her way, she often sees the "solution" in just stepping away from it, leaving it there and ignoring it.
Jocelyn is all in one a friendly person, but on a bad day she can get quiet bitchy. She likes to be a help rather than a burden and will do anything she can to not be in anyone's debt. She is a helpful kind and even though she is not the best at making the plans, she will gladly do the hard work it takes to accomplish it.
She doesn't trust easily, but once you earned her trust she will do anything to protect you. But if that trust gets broken, it will be a hard piece of work to earn it back.
