I mostly enjoy writing in the Casual section of the guild. Character development and exploring character relationships motivate me. I like to really think myself into my character and their view on others and the world around them which is why I prefer to stick to one character per roleplay. I love world-building but I am also easily overwhelmed with very detailed concepts I haven't been met with before. So you could say I love a decent amount of world-building and prefer original builds. Once everyone has settled, expanding that world and its concept is a great way to create more depth and keep me as a player hooked as I love to discover new things!
My favorite genre is and has always been fantasy. I guess you could say I love escapism to a point where I like to flee the mundane world entirely. I also feel drawn to sci-fi roleplays but I have noticed that those usually intimidate me. I feel like I am not adept at writing about technology and all that sci-fi goodness so I mostly just pine over how awesome some OOCs look and never apply to them.
When it comes to fantasy I feel right at home. For my mind, it is much easier to grasp magical concepts and worlds than sci-fi ones. As a result of this, all the worlds I write up (be it here as a GM or elsewhere) tend to be fantastical in one way or another. I especially enjoy adventure RPs and witch RPs. I like to see new magical systems and am always eager to learn more about the worlds I RP in.
Additionally, all my characters are queer, always. Since I am queer myself and can't imagine playing straight ^^

A rise in threats has been detected - unnatural beings, magical beasts, and other supernatural phenomena pull media attention and feed directly into an anti-witch campaign.

He was taken by a mysterious knight who rode his horse into the deadly woods nearby, taking the young boy with him. But the knight is not a simple man, he is said to be a resurrected ghostly figure forever in search for a squire, kidnapping young boys who never return home.

The Cult of the Dragon has come to Phlan, a lawless refuge on the Moonsea. Now, with no significant authority to stop the cult, other power groups in the Realms – the Harpers, Order of the Gauntlet, Lords' Alliance, and even the Zhentarim – must unite to stop the cult from fulfilling its dark purpose in the city. Meanwhile, Rhana, a drow rogue with a questionable past, and Salissa, a dhampir bard with flair, find themselves somehow involved in this as they tackle different missions aimed at stopping the cult.

I always write my IC posts in gray due to finding the white color pretty straining on the eyes.
Also in the same shop: Cameron (@SomewhatAverage), Talon (@XAnthProper), Callum (@AbysmalDemon), Alexandria (@Lady Hestia), Charles (@Natsu), Liliana & Rosa (@carla6677) In less than five minutes the shop was full of first year students. Charlyn had trouble keeping up with all the new faces, but she was very happy to see so many students that would be in the same year as her. She looked at all the young wizards and witches and wondered which one of them would be in the same house as her. She grinned widely, all of those people were potential new friends and she hoped dearly to befriend them all!
Charlyn smiled at all of them in an attempt to welcome them in their little improvised group they had just formed.
"Oh dear oh dear!", a loud female voice echoed through the shop. Heads turned to see an elderly woman with glasses, grey hair up in a loose bun and a dark purple, nicely fitting robe hurry up behind the counter to approach her new costumers. "There you go away for a few single minutes and you come back to leaving your poort costumers waiting. Oh no no, this is not what Madam Malkin does. I apologize, my dear children." Over her shoulder hung a measuring tape and with a flick of her finger it came to live, wriggling a bit and straightening up as if waking up from a deep slumber, and then it flew directly at Charlyn and pulled up her hand with it's end, starting to measure her arms, her upper body, her legs; the measure tape was constantly in movement.
"Whoa", Charlie spoke out when it measure the size of her head a bit too roughly.
Madam Malkin was looking at all the other first year's in the small group. "Oh lord, I cannot keep you waiting. Hold on, my deary friends, hold on." And with that she waved her hand over the a basket full of other measure tapes that came alive and gathered around the children, starting to measure them out.
It was a funny mess. Two measure tapes were constantly fighting over which of them would measure Callum's left arm the best and pushed his arm back and forth, pushing each other to the side. Another measure tape tried to take off Rosa's shoe to measure each of her toes, before Madam Malkin gave it a stern look and it stopped bugging her feet. Yet another tape was measureing Cameron's waist for the third time because every other space of his body was already taken care of by other measure tapes. It was a silly picture.
"You all are looking for the Hogwarts uniform package? Three black robes and a hat for day wear?", the old lady asked them.
"Uhh, yes." Charlyn nodded. She was too busy trying to look at all of the actively working measuring tapes at once.
@1Hawkeyes The wand is added once you bought it from Ollivander's, but might as well leave it now. You didn't write anything about her personality, which is okay, but it might be cool to add some of it? If not then that's fine. Move her. If you add anything else, first let me know and reread again before you move her.
:: Personality :: Jocelyn is a rather quiet woman and will rather observe than speak up herself. She is in good body condition and very fast on her feet. She doesn't lose breath easily and can walk a while before needing a rest. On the other hand she is not too awesome on puzzles or tricks, although she tries her best to solve any problem that comes her way, she often sees the "solution" in just stepping away from it, leaving it there and ignoring it.
Jocelyn is all in one a friendly person, but on a bad day she can get quiet bitchy. She likes to be a help rather than a burden and will do anything she can to not be in anyone's debt. She is a helpful kind and even though she is not the best at making the plans, she will gladly do the hard work it takes to accomplish it.
She doesn't trust easily, but once you earned her trust she will do anything to protect you. But if that trust gets broken, it will be a hard piece of work to earn it back.
@Natsu accepted but he doesn't own a wand yet so it shouldn't be in the CS until he gets it. But if your first post will include him getting his wand then it can stay.
The CS will be extended over the time while we RP and explore the story.
Hello @carla6677. I come to notice that your characters have two cute kittens but have yet to add since when/ for how long they've got them. That would be awesome if you could do that. Thank you.
