Okay, that makes perfect sense! The Dragon Marks are weird. Basically, each one is associated with a particular Ancient Dragon. We can hammer out the details of the power whenever you want if you still want it. However, the Dragon Marks tend not to assist with skills but instead have a single power connected to them. For example, Nalia can control liquids, or, the Umbra Mark lets you push and pull things. @POOHEAD189
@POOHEAD189 Looks pretty much solid! Only thing to mention is that you say you are Dragon Marked in race but have the Mark of Talos in truth, just a quick fix there. Also, when and why was your character Marked? If you want that to be a secret that's cool, just make sure to PM me about it. Most people either have Marks inflicted on them to make them better tools or they do it to themselves out of devotion to the faith the Mark comes from, or, because they want some kind of power. Marks are considered taboo and seen in a negative light by most of society. Just something to keep in mind. :D
@Lauder Ich kenne! I have been informed that incest in wincest but I don't think the genetics agree with that assertion.
@POOHEAD189 To answer both of your questions: 1) The line of succession goes down from the main family line. So, The heir and person supposed to be now in charge of the house would be Nalia. However, since she is kind of off doing who knows what, yeah, Fiona and Lorenzo are pretty much going to be trying to solidify their own control of the house.
2) You can feel free to be from an existing house, just make sure to PM about which one and I can give you some extra back ground info and what not. If you wanna make your own house, also awesome! There were ten Great Houses before the plague and assassination of The Patron and his family, so, you being from one of the houses no longer in existence or just no longer very relevant would be completely reasonable.
