Cal accepts the steaming something. "...thank you" he sips it as he follows her. "...Duties?" he has a rather blank look as he keeps sipping at his drink. "Wait" He stops walking studying her. "Teacher?" his head tilts. "..But...im only 19" he says even though he is working a job that requires a degree that he completed during when he should have been in high school. "I...I don't know anything about being a teacher" He sips the drink again even though he's feeling really out of place right now. He never pictured himself as a teacher...He doesn't know he first thing about it. "...I barely fit in with the people at home...how...how am i supposed to teach people" He stares into the liquid as if waiting for it to respond instead of the strange woman talking to him. He is incredibly smart, but really has no idea how he would go about teaching others that might be close to his age. He was a lot better around people now, but still. He sips more of the liquid and then looks back at the back of her head, hoping she would turn around.

Calvin, still freaking out a bit internally, hears a woman speaking to him. He slowly looks up and blinks, taking a bit to register that she is talking to him. Once this registers, he manages to stand...grabbing his flashlight, turning it off, and putting it in his pocket before rubbing his neck and studying her. "Im...Calvin West..but I go by Cal...this is a dream right" He nervously looks around him. "I hit my head or something and am passed out on that floor in the attic right" He sounds rather freaked out. He rolls up his hoodie sleeve and pinches himself, hard, causing him to flinch. "Maybe...Maybe I'm just really deeply asleep" He looks back at her his red hair shining in this bright light. "...uhm...I guess I'm being rude" He rubs his neck again, he nervous tick. "Sorry...pleasure to meet you"

He shoves his hands into his pockets as he looks around at the brightness of this all, his eyes then going from her to the castle then back to her. "Where did you say i am?" he is still freaked out, but his mind has settled on him being in a dream. Even though everything around him is telling his brain differently. After all, he has no idea that magic exists...or even that he's only half human. As he stands there, his stomach quietly grumbles...complaining about his lack of food intake...sometimes he felt like a hummingbird with all the food he consumes. With the sound being audible the tips of his ears turn red. "Sorry...I guess I'm hungry" Awkward smile. so far this is among the most freaked out and embarrassed he has ever been.
