Vladimir watched her handle the old coins and how her face was lit up amongst them. "Well...it's a small part of my collection. Occasionally I pick a piece and sell it to a museum." he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead. "I'm around 1,500" he shrugged. [color]"Though I did stop keeping count around 1,400 so that's a rough estimate....though I stopped aging at 21"[/color] he chuckled. "I would love to tell you some tales...though some parts are more painful then others"

He lightly lead her to a small ornate box and opened it. Inside was a rather large pink pearl. "Anything you wish to have you may have." he studied her and lightly put the box with the pearl back. "Now...what would you like to do next?" he tilted his head as he waited for the response.

You cannot really heal a dual nature ticking time bomb

Considering his mind was never normal to begin with she cannot heal to normalcy.

Being a hybrid of angel and demon it's like his brain is torn in half

Best real life example would be multiple personality disorder (or DID) he has two 'alters' which occasionally take over the main being demon and himself. Angel is there but he doesn't really take over

The rest is because of the warring natures. One pure good the other pure evil. This inner turmoil leads to the issue of going insane and becoming a husk like what he is now. Since he has retreated internally there is really nothing to heal there because he isn't technically damaged in the brain...his brain is technically healthy.

That being said. To bring him back you first have to pull one of the alters then convince them to go back and pull up Cupid. This will return him to his natural state but it does not really cure the full issue. It just temporarily fixes it.

For hybrids there is no known cure...most die in their 20s from starvation...so he's a unique case being living at his age.

Apollo was the guy Kyle sent Cupid to go speak to

And it won't....basically he needs to be mended mentally...so either a mind enter and fix or convince him to let one of his 'alters' out...preferably the Angel

Then that will enable him to come back to his normal state...he's still have those two in his mind and still be insane but he'd be back to fairly normal

What's happening to him is what happens to most hybrids. They become husks of who they once were because of the constant torture of their minds. So they retreat into their mind in hopes that neither half can take over.

Cupid is the oldest living hybrids and it took a very long time for this to happen

Vladimir let her put the ribbon on him and nodded. He tilted his head. "Thank you" he carefully tied the ribbon and chuckled again. "Let's just say it's worth a lot and the museum I give some things to will be very sad....they might try to buy it off of you" he then opened her hand and put the other in her palm. "The choice was mostly too see which you proffered" he lightly took her free hand and paused. "Would you like to see how I make money?"

Before she could respond he lightly lead her to his room and opened the closet. He pulled open the trap door and assisted her down. The room was dark as he pulled the door shut. However, when he pulled the light on the rows of treasure seemed to take on a life of their own. Each piece glittered and seemed to demand attention. From the loose gems to the ornate cheats on the bottom rows. Each had a history and all were gathered here. He leaned against the wall and took in her reaction with a small smile. He hadn't shown anyone even part of his collection since it was much smaller.

Cupids eyes looked blank. The bright pink seemed to have dulled to barely having any color. He still shook even though his body was now healed. He didn't seem to register shiver being there. He blinked. "Iambrokentheoneswithinaretakingover" it was slurred and then he blinked again his eyes turning silver. "It is happening" was the last thing he managed to say before he seemed to loose all color. Wick had healed the body but the mind was shattering before them. Much like someone with dissociative identity disorder but somewhat worse.
