Anders yawned and looked at the sleeping woman beside him. A small chuckle left him as he remembered what happened last night.

A scream for help caused him to rush there. The sight before him was a man with a gun trying to steal the woman's belongings. "Woah." The man turned and started yelling and Anders simply shook his head. "No listen to me...You don't want to do this. In fact you are going to lower the gun and leave." The man blinked and lowered the weapon. "Good and you will not remember me or what happened here." The man blinked again before leaving with a bewildered expression. The woman looked relieved and rushed to him. "Thank you! I have no idea how you did that, but I don't care. How can I repay you" Anders smiled and the two ended up at her place.

Now he lightly leaned over and whispered in her ear. Then he pulled on his clothes and made his way outside.
Course he did not make it very far when he saw the commotion. The heck was that thing anyway? If it came anywhere near him he would have to use his voice because that thing was huge and he did not much like the idea of mimicking the now destroyed buildings. He liked living too much.

Name - Anders Swanson

Powers -
-Persuasion: Anders is able to convince people to do thing through the sound of his voice. This power allows him to compel others to believe what he says and agree with anything he suggests. However, powerful minds have proven immune to his charm. (That and ear plugs)
-Energy Manipulation: Anders can tap into the potential energy contained within an object and transform it into kinetic energy by touching it. When he thus charges an object and throws it at a target, the object releases this energy explosively on contact. (Though he isn't as skilled with this as his persuasion ability)
-Agility: ability to tap into energy also grants him superhuman agility and dexterity, as well as creating a static interference that shields his mind from detection and intrusion by even the most powerful telepaths.

Weaknesses -
-He is able to be killed by anything that would be fatal (Head shot, decapitation etc.)
-Ear plugs
-individuals who can resist his voice (aka telepath resistant)

Personality - Sarcastic, Ass,
Experience - 9 and a half months
Appearance -

Anders stands at 5 foot 8 with a medium build. He tends to wear button ups, but can be seen in more casual clothes. He likes to think he has an eye for looking good.

BRIEF Bio -
Anders had a fairly typical childhood. Though his parents died when he was 18, so he had to go into independence faster then he would have liked. He went through the motions of trying to make something of himself, going to college for a bit getting a job that type of thing. 9 months ago, he discovered that his voice had a certain affect on people when he wanted it to. He has taken full advantage of that and has found his way into money and women. His lack of caution will most likely catch the attention of different individuals.

Key Differences - There are several differences between him and gambit. Gambit does not seem to focus solely on one of his abilities so that is one large difference.

Sample Story Arcs -
Carelessness: His carelessness results in x-men intervening to try to teach him how to properly use his abilities
The hidden vixen: He finds out that using abilities on women leads to being attacked by a woman sent by the brotherhood to either capture him or kill him.

Supporting Characters -
Good: x-men
Bad: Brotherhood or any other form of bad guy that could use him to their advantage

had it in there mostly because Gambit had a bit of one
so no it would not take anything away from the character but force him to learn to be nice to people who can be resistant to his voice. A punch to the nose would have more affect in that case.

Landvarian managed to not get to angry at how the other Kil’garen addressed the creature. Though his short tail did flick as a sign of his irritation. He then looked upset that Reek would even think that he would damage him. ”I would not hurt you Reek.” His voice was soft as h remembered when he was younger and when he was beaten. He looked up when he heard the other voice and felt his hands ball at the sight of the kick. Landvarian managed not to growl or hiss like he wanted to, but it was clear by his body language that he did not like the harm Reek received.

Landvarian took a moment to compose himself so that no more harm would come to Reek and nodded back to Gun’Tar. His eyes flicked to Reek before flicking back to Gun’tar. His eyes widened when the guy spoke about what else Reek could do. He cleared his throat and nodded. ”I also accept your terms.” If Reek could speak arcane then perhaps he could read spells…which would help with learning more. That and he really did not like how Reek was treated.

I was thinking of a character with persuasion abilities so possibly a spin on gambit or another character ^.^
