I gave some thought to Superman too but my mind is far from made up. (As silly as it might sound given that it's "my" game)
I'm of the opinion that a GM shouldn't have automatic "dibs" on a character by virtue of their being the GM. I think calling dibs on a character in a roleplay is pretty icky altogether, let alone when the GM does it. So the application/acceptance process will go as follows: if you put a sheet up and it's unopposed I'll get back to you after a twenty-four hour grace period. If two sheets go up for the same character there'll be a public vote in the OOC thread to decide who is approved and the vote will be binding. Even (heck, especially) if I'm the one applying.
In the instance applications are unopposed four references will do as a sample. If there's competition a small sample post will be necessary.
Sound fair?

He agreed and within a year she had a Visa to the US and Oni never returned though both Kshiti and her father have.
The first time Kshiti realized there was something different about her was when she was about seven. School was hard for her, not because she wasn't intelligent, but because of her skin color. The other students teased her constantly. Once day she lost her temper and one of the boys broke his ankle in a hole. With her innocent logic she realized that she had caused it to happen, even though her parents told her otherwise. After the first time she used her powers in anger, she never let it happen again. She didn't let other people get her down. Every day after that she tried to do it again and again. Then, when she was eleven she finally made the earth move of her own free will. Thrilled she continued practicing to gain greater control.

When her father went back to India she went with him and went to school there until she was fourteen. When she came back to America she went back into public school and made new friends. Personality: Baron Favrin is a stern man to all who know him. He rarely speaks unless he had something to say. He thinks before he speaks or acts. He is very loyal to Whitelands and would do anything for the demesne. After the death of his brother Rikard, Favrin has because even more reticent and some whisper that he'll eventually turn into a recluse. For all his fallibles, Favrin likes to enjoy life. Usually with his wife behind closed doors or riding across the country side on his horse.
History: Favrin was born two years after Rikard. The two were close brothers. Favrin always did whatever his elder brother did. They resented each other, but the two stayed close friends. For while Rikard would be Duke, Favrin would be free to pursue what truly made him happy. When the two boys were teens they pursued the same noble woman, Catryn, niece to the former Queen of Borhilon, one of the most beautiful women in the demesne. But Catryn choose Rikard over Favrin. The two had a large falling out over the event.
It wasn't until Favrin was in his early twenties that he sought to repair their relationship at the urging of their ailing father. Shortly after their father died the two became friends again. Favrin set up his mother on his lands at Roansville. The town was noted for the beautiful roan trees and the crafts men were hailed across Borhilon.
When Favrin was entering his Thirties, much to the joy of his mother, he finally married Baroness, now Countess, Vivian Athos. Vivian is a distant relation to the Athos' in the Falkhalls. They meet when Favrin was travelling the lands of the Kingdom. Vivian and Favrin had two sons. Both are in their early twenties now. One, Corbin, is with the Heir serving under the King. The other, Davin, is currently visiting with his mother her family in the Falkhalls.
Skills: Favrin is a skilled woodsman, hunter, politician, and warrior.
Dreams and fears: Favin has many dreams. Most of all he dreams of travelling Borhilon again before he grows too old.
He dreams of grandchildren.
He wants a stable land where his children can grow up safe and secure.
He fears that the civil unrest will cause hardship to fall upon his family, both immediate and on his nephews. He also fears his aging mother will soon die.
He fears his eldest son will die in battle so far from home.

Personality: Gabbi is a very simple girl. She was raised in Baron's Favrin's home as a serving girl. When she was still young he recommended her to the Keep. She's a studious worker and tries very hard to please her masters. Most of the time she keeps her head down and says nothing. A very good skill as no one tends to notice her.
History: Gabbi was found abandoned by one of the servants at Roansville. They were going to pass her off to the church but instead she was taken in by the cook, Lucinda, who had just miscarried. She raised the girl like her own. Gabbi however was never allowed to take Lucinda's name. She had to live with the stigma of being unwanted. This contributed to her inability to deal with people.
When she was barely a young girl the Baroness noticed her. Gabbi had been cleaning when the Baron and Baroness had made everyone leave the room, and Gabbi had failed to escape in time. Gabbi ended up hiding, so she wouldn't get spotted and beaten. Taking pity on the girl, the Baroness said nothing, but kept an eye on her. Eventually she brought Gabbi to her Husband's attention. The two agreed that she was quite unnoticeable. After that the Baroness devised a series of tests for the girl to test her intelligence, or at least her capacity for remembrance.
Gabbi passed with flying colors. The Baron decided to plant her in his brother's household to keep and eye on things. There she has been ever since, working as a cleaning girl. Once a month she passes along what she learned to the Baron. Otherwise she just keeps to herself.
Skills: Gabbi is very good at cleaning. She is also good at not being noticed and listening in to "hushed" conversations. She isn't very good at speaking and interacting with people.
Dreams and fears: Gabbi dreams of one day being the Lady's Maid in Waiting.
Gabbi fears that people will talk to her and she must talk back. Taking orders are one thing, it's quite another to make small talk. She's okay with Favrin because she just has to repeat back what she's heard, not really think for herself.

Not only that, she was the second daughter. Any dreams she had of a perfect happily ever after would never happen. As Vivian aged she learned how to deal with disappointment. Her elder sister was married off at the age of seventeen to a man thrice her age. Vivian, knowing it was her turn next, knew she would never find love.
So it was even more a surprise to her when Favrin came to visit their part of the land. Vivian was fourteen at the time and Favrin was twenty four. Yet the two found each other. To Vivian he was a beautiful knight come to whisk her away. She loved to hear him talk of his home back in the north. After a few weeks Favrin left, but he promised to return the next year and wed her when she was come of age.
When he returned he did indeed marry her and he took her to his home. Abet slowly, for the two toured the vast lands of the Kingdom. They even stayed in the capital for a spell. By the time the two made it to Roansoak Vivian was showing with her first child. As soon as he was born she knew he'd be a soldier like his father. His younger brother, Davin, however was a more sedate child. Though the second pregnancy was very hard on her and they decided not to have anymore children, just to be on the safe side.

Dreams and fears: Vivian dreams mainly of grandchildren. She keeps shoving eligible women towards her sons. Vivian fears Favrin and Corbin dying in battle.

Personality: Corbin is a fierce individual. He has very strong opinions and rarely hesitates to tell other people. The only people he watches his mouth around is his father, mother, and the Duke (or now Gregar for the time being.) He strongly believes in the right to rule through arms and strength. He one day hopes to help the overthrow the Ironhills and become the Duke there.
While growing up Corbin got into loads of trouble, often dragging in his little brother too. The two didn't often get along, but then they did they were little hellions. Corbin always knew he wanted to be a warrior like his father. As soon as he was able to hold a sword his father began training him. He feels that he's one of the best swordsmen around and doesn't hesitate to fight people stronger than him to prove it.
Corbin isn't as loyal as his father to the Duke's line. However his ambition isn't set upon the Whitelands, but further south. He actually hopes the King might one day recognize him and give unto him one of the King's daughters. And the title of Duke of course.

Powers/Abilities
All Amazons share the same powers and abilities, though each differs on which aspect they are best in.
- From Gaia they gain the power of the Earth. This grants them strength beyond normal and also allows quicker healing when in direct contact with Earth.
- From Athena they are granted wisdom, intelligence, and military prowess. This also helps her learn new languages rapidly and retain them easily.
- From Artemis they are granted the "Eye of the Hunter". This gives them enhanced vision and hearing.
- Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth, granted them the ability to be more resistant to fire, both natural and magical and origin.
- Aphrodite granted each woman beauty and a kind heart.
At this point Diana does not have the ability to fly. In canon it was granted by Hermes, who was a guy, so in this timeline she has not meet him yet because no man (God or not) can walk on Themyscira.
Diana also had won items on Themyscira that she brought with her,
- Aegis of Athena: Her bullet proof bracers. Not only can they deflect bullets but they absorb the kinetic energy. Because of this they are also useful to minimizing blast damage.
- Tiara: It's a boomerang.
- Other objects she doesn't have yet: Her Magical sword and Lasso of Truth.
Weaknesses
Diana had increase her power "ten-fold" by removing her bracers. However prolonged use of her abilities without her bracers will driver her insane.
Diana is not bullet proof. Nor pointy object proof. She can be stabbed, shot, or blown up. She is also susceptible to poison. And is moderately susceptible to mental attacks.
She doesn't lose her powers if she is tied up by a guy (because I'm not going there).
She's naive about how the world really works.
Back story/origins
Diana was born on Themyscira, the isle of the Amazons also known as Paradise Island. It was an Island granted to women by Athena (The Greek Goddess). The events leading up to this gift are not relevant to Diana. Suffice it to say the Greek Gods enchanted the land to protect the women who lived there from men and hid it from the world.
Diana's mother is Queen Hippolyta, making her the Princess of the Amazons. The Amazonian women are all fierce warriors though not all of them employed as such. They practice peace overall and the gentler arts are very much appreciated. Since the Isle was gifted to the Amazons they have never had true war.
Diana's life on the island was the same as all the other women, or sisters as they call each other. While being a Princess she wasn't raised differently from all the rest, apart from the two women assigned to be her body guards. Diana's early life consisted of training both her body and mind. She learned the Amazon's code of Love, Peace and Equality. Warriors of Paradise Island didn't fight for themselves. They fought for each other and their way of life.
When Diana was young she was taught of the world she lived in. This included "Man's" world as her sisters named it. They taught young Diana all about the horrible things that happened and are happening there. Diana however was fascinated by the outside world. Even her biased teachers couldn't curb her. She would day dream in her leisure time about life off the isle. For was it not a basic tenant of Amazon philosophy to teach their way of life to others?
Of course she always struggled with that lesson. She lacked self discipline above all else. She was a little blood thirsty and tended to lack compassion to those who would seek to wrong those she called sisters. It was a lesson her younger sister (by blood) didn't struggle with. Donna was almost five years younger than Diana. The two were quite inseparable. But Donna also didn't have any desire to leave her home. It was their one point of contention. So when Diana left in the night like a thief she didn't bring her tender hearted sister with her.
Currently Diana has no secret Identity, though later the press will dub her Wonder Woman.
Arc ideas
Lasso of Truth: First and foremost she needs to get her Lasso of Truth. It was made by Hephaestus for Hestia so maybe Diana can do something for Hestia in order to be given the Lasso as a gift/payment?
Doctor Psycho: He's probably one of Diana's deadliest foes and gets little screen time. Right out the gate I'd like these two to clash. He'd be her main villain. This arc would be their first introduction to each other. I think he would be good because he's extremely sexist and having him one of Diana's first villains would only highlight the terrible aspects of the world at large.

Personality: Ginny has two personas. One is her work and the other is with friends. She likes to keep her life separate.
While at work, Ginny (known as Broker) is a cold person. Some people have gone as far to call her frigid. She prefers to be described as detached. She doesn't want, nor cares, to like the people she works with. She just thinks of them a tools or means to an end. She is a very hard working woman who likes to be through. She rarely delegates anything to anyone and trusts no one but herself.
When Ginny is with friends she is practically a different person. She is very open and warm. Though she is an almost compulsive liar. She likes to laugh and tell jokes. She is also a very tactile person. Chances are she'll want to hold your hand. Ginny also tends to spend a lot of money on clothes and accessories. She'll also donate a bit to whatever charity strikes her fancy. All of her friends view Ginny as a very loyal, abet busy person.

Whenever Ginny touches and person or object she can get a "reading" off of it. For example, if Ginny touches a door knob and concentrates, she can see the last couple of people who also touched the door knob and know when they did so. However not all readings are clear. The older the object is, the easier it is to get a reading. If there was a traumatic event attached to the object, the easier it would be to see it. The newer the object is, the harder. People are extremely hard and most readings are nonsensical. Ginny cannot get readings off charred objects (if nothing has touched it after the burning) or liquids or gases.

Brief Bio: Ginny was born to poor parents. They wasted whatever money they gained on booze and drugs. Needless to say home life was no life for little Ginny. She graduated High School by the age 14 and went to college. She gained her emaciation the very next year when she was fifteen.
Since she had a free ride to Yale she focused on riding herself of her past and elevating herself. She went to work for a pharmaceutical corporation, Axell Corp., and started earning more money. But it wasn't enough for Ginny. Through her connections she began to discover the world of blackmail. The added income was very much needed and appreciated. By the time she was seventeen, Broker, was a force in the underground. If you wanted information Broker would get it to you at a price. Ginny didn't care who she sold information to, as long as they paid.
By the time she was in her twenties she had set herself up an empire in the underworld. In her alternate life she was now a shareholder in Axell Corp. Her quick and deft mind kept her above scrutiny and climbing the corporate latter. Though disaster struck in when she was twenty six. A former DA, whom she had blackmailed, gathered enough information on her to toss her into jail for embezzlement. Ironically, the charges were false, yet the DA had enough pull to still get her thrown into jail.
Ginny, now twenty-seven, still runs her information empire from jail and plots her revenge.

Personality:
Most people consider Piper completely vain and self centered upon first impression. She cares about how she looks, knows she's good looking and isn't above using it to get her way. However once you get to know her, you'll find out that she's not above menial tasks. She doesn't mind getting dirty, wither it's for work or to help a stranger. She is also quite conscious of how other people feel. She believes in the best of everyone and is reluctant to believe bad of people. She is a loyal person and it's incredibly hard to loose her trust. Most of all she believes in doing the right thing and to have no regrets.
Piper loves to have a good time. Even if it's getting together with friends and chatting or going to a party. Piper is very much a social creature and needs to be around someone. The only exception is when she's working on a motorcycle. Then she'd rather be left alone.
Piper lastly is fatalistic. She knows she's going to die. In some ways she wants to. But she sure isn't going down without a fight. Biography:
Piper was the oldest child of two. Her younger brother Sam was a year younger than her. Her parents Dean and Carla were very wealthy. They gave her whatever she wanted, be it designer clothes or the newest toy. Her early childhood was a happy one. She and her brother had everything they could ever want or need. The only downside was that her parents were never around.
In Piper's teen years she dropped out of school. She then left home and went to work doing odd jobs around the town fixing things. That period of finding herself lead her to go back to a technical school so she could learn to work on motorcycles. It was also in this time that her brother discovered he was different. He came to live with Piper when she was seventeen and he was sixteen.
Life was good for the two. Sam was a junior in High School. He was working hard because he wanted to get into a good college. Piper also knew he worked harder because he didn't want to end up like Piper. Piper didn't mind, she was doing what she loved, even if she didn't have any money to support herself.
When Piper was eighteen the walls came up. Poor Sam never stood a chance. His powers were so passive that when the Crusaders invaded Piper's apartment he was dead within seconds. The horror and devastation left behind drove Piper away from her home and onto the streets. When the power never came back Piper ended up with a few other people who were good with fixing things. They called themselves the fixers and set off trying to find a sustainable power supply.
They scavenged and hoarded. As the city settled down in the ensuing years they began to grow in numbers. But not too many, never enough to draw attention to themselves for their main source of power was fallen Crusaders, before they could be cannibalized by their kin.
Piper, now twenty-eight, hadn't joined the resistance in the beginning. She had continued with the Fixers trying to find a way to escape. In fact, in some ways she still hasn't joined. But she and her fellow fixers give them whatever help they can. She maintains an apartment building and is quite respected by those who know her. No one knows she's a Fixer or part of the Resistance. Unless they're a part of it already.

Barbara Gordon was born to James Gordon and Barbara Gordon. She was obviously named after her mother. For a while her parents tried for another child, but they were unsuccessful. When Barbara was a young girl her mother just left one day. She tried to talk to her dad to find out where her mother went, but he would just ignore her and drink.
Barbara's father got better as she aged. But drinking remained a problem for him from that point on. As her father progressed in the Police Force, the more he worried for her safety. He enrolled her in self defense classes at the young age of six. She excelled at it and genuinely enjoyed the sport. She continued her classes and even took other types of martial arts in High School and in College.
Barbara graduated college at the age of 22 with a degree in Forensic Sciences. She had wanted to be an Officer like her father. However he refused on the basis that he didn't want her exposed like him. He thought it was bad enough he had to fight the corruption in the force and the evil on the streets. So even though she really wanted to be an Officer she majored in Forensics. At least that way she could still be involved. It wasn't until Batman showed up the year before she graduated from Gotham University that she knew what she must do.
By day she would work with the GCPD and at night she would be Batgirl. She thought about Batwoman, but that felt weird. She spent her off time working on a costume and some gadgets modeled off bats, just like Batman. She had to thank her dad for letting her see the ones recovered at the scene. After she graduated college she was quickly able to secure work at GCPD as a Forensic Technician, thanks to her father and her prior volunteer work done at the department.
Within a few months Batgirl first hit the streets. Her first few "cases" were muggings, assaults, and a car jacking. What she really lacked was a mode of transportation. She didn't have the proper equipment like Batman to easily go from building top to building top. Which meant she was limited to crimes in progress or happy circumstances.
Since Barbara wasn't one to rely on luck or happy circumstances. She turned her smarts to crimes in progress. She didn't bother with crimes like petty theft or the like. She went after the long games. Her next few cases were small time drug running cases. There was even a case of human trafficking. Her first major case that put her on the map was busting a gun smuggling ring. She interrupted and arrested Penguin's man. Unfortunately she hadn't gotten enough on Cobblepot and he walked away with his lawyer. His buyer also slipped through his tracks, though she tracked down the would be crime lord a few months later.
After she had the route shut down she received a visit from the Batman. He wasn't happy with what she was doing, but grudgingly let her continue, only after he had trained her. For a few weeks she couldn't even don the costume without his permission. Though after he deemed her capable he did gift her with her own set of gadgets: Batarangs, rope lines, etc. Though it would take far longer for her to earn his trust and to for him to tell her his identity, though she was reasonably certain what it was within a week of meeting him in person. To this day she isn't sure when he learned hers. Whenever it was, he isn't talking.
It was also at that time when she learned her that Dick Grayson was also Nightwing. Which also helped her be certain she knew who Batman was. Before that point, despite Bruce and her father being friends, she hadn't had much to do with Grayson. After that the two went from awkward kind of friends to an awkward mutual attraction over the years.
Barbara, in 2014, came to help a quasi-hero group known as the Birds of Prey. She was contacted by a woman code named Black Canary. At first she was hesitant to help out. Two out of the four members were known criminals, Pamela and Selena. However Black Canary pitched a good case and she agreed on the condition that as soon as the Birds of Prey do more harm than good, she would no longer help them out. The longer she aided them the more they relied on her for leads when Black Canary had other things to take care of.
When Barbara was 25, two years after her first encounter with Batman, her life changed forever. One uneventful day she had been at her father's apartment, waiting for him to get off work. It was a typical ritual they followed whenever they could. However this time it wasn't her father who came through the door. It was the Joker. He put a bullet through her and her spine. He left her there, almost dead for her father to find. It wasn't until later she learned that the Joker had been after her father, and her presence there probably saved his life.
Even knowing that, Barbara had a bout of severe depression over being paralyzed. She ended up in the hospital for two months and in physical therapy for a while afterwards. Even after she got out of the hospital she took a leave of absence from the Force, not mental or physically able to go back.
Thanks to Bruce Wayne, a friend of her father's, she was able to afford to take leave and to not worry about not paying for her apartment. Or at least that was what the world saw. While she was recovering she asked him for a favor, and he came through. He helped her gather the equipment she needed to become Oracle.
While she recovered both mentally and physically, often with Dick by her side, she became Oracle for the Batclan first. Then she branched out for the Justice League. She has yet to reach back out to the Birds of Prey.

Despite her handicap she has maintained a high level of physical fitness. Being in a wheelchair doesn't slow her down much anymore. She also has extensive skills with eskrima fighting sticks, small firearms, and batarangs. She customarily keeps a pair of eskrima sticks stored in the armrests of her wheelchair as a contingency. - Intelligence and technological skill
Barbara has a genius-level intellect and possesses a photographic memory. She likes to think of herself as the most intelligent person from the Batclan. As with her physical skills, her technological skills were developed before she took up being a superhero. She is a skilled hacker, capable of retrieving and dispersing information from private satellites, military installations, government files, and the properties of Lex Luthor. The main goal is I would like for other players to come to her for support and information. That would make me feel like I did a good job at settling her in as a support character. Basically I'd just like her involved with everyone, even if it's only in a minor way.
I'd also like to explore Barbara both as Oracle and as Barbara. How is she doing mentally as well as physically. How does mainly interacting with people through a computer hinder her improvement. Also how does she juggle Grayson and her isolation?

Batgirl lowered her binoculars as Jim Gordon put the cuffs on Calendar Man. Barbara heaved a sigh and relaxed for the first time since she had placed the call. It was one thing to know what your father did at work. It was another to actually be the one who called the cops to lead them to the bad guy and sit back and watch. No wonder her dad had thrown a fit when she had mentioned being a cop. He didn't want to go through that everyday.
Barbara was glad he didn't know that it was her who was Batgirl. He was happier just thinking of her being a lab monkey. And this way she could do what she loved.
Babs lifted her binoculars again as a dark shape rose from one of the roofs. She tensed all over, ready for anything. A heartbeat later she relaxed again as the dark shadow vanished back into the night. A smile danced briefly on her lips. No matter how had Batman tried, he always showed he cared. It was just harder to spot. Still, even with his belief that everything would be fine, Batgirl didn't leave her spot on the roof until Calendar Man was bundled into a cop car and driven off.
The window to Barbara's apartment slid open easily. She gently popped off the screen and slipped in. Her computer glowed softly in a blue light. She walked over and wiggled the mouse. The screen flashed into life and exposed all the hard work she had done the past week. It had all started on Monday. There had been a robbery at Gotham University's Planetarium. Someone had stolen hundreds of dollars worth of lunar models.
Batgirl, had taken over the case, believing it was a one time occurrence. When another robbery occurred at the Museum. Several valuable pieces from the Roman wing, directly connected to Mars went missing. Batman ended up working on that one with the boy wonder since Babs was still trying to get leads on the first robbery. It wasn't until the third robbery on Wednesday that she put them together.
On a napkin at breakfast she had scribbled:

Each of the robberies corresponded to a crime. When she headed off with the Robber on "Thor's Day". She had been confronted with a rather, eccentric man. He had dressed up like Thor, the one from the movies. He even had his own hammer that tossed out lighting like a Tesla rod. That revelation had been a surprise, but a well tossed batarag had the offending object dropped to the ground.
Calendar Man, as he had proclaimed himself had then run off. For a portly man he moved quickly. If he hadn't stopped to change costumes, she might have lost him. As it was she caught him half way changed from his Thor Costume into a costume with calendars on it. She had let him finish dressing before she tied him up and left him for the police. She also left a map to his hideout pinned to his calendar doffed chest.
Barbara shook her head as she powered down the computer. Sometimes even Gotham continued to surprise her. But at least tomorrow at work should be interesting when she got to go to his hide out and catalog his stolen goods.

All stories begin somewhere. Courtney's live may have started here, but her tale really began before. Her mother and father had wed right out of high school. Courtney wasn't born much later. Due to the date of her summer birth, it had been obvious she was conceived before marriage. Still, the couple were happy, for a while.
Year of the Dog: 1994
Most people would have described their marriage as bliss. Everyone who knew the happy couple never thought they'd break up. No one saw the cracks. The yelling, the crying. Soon it was exposed that Courtney's paternal father had only married her mother our of pressure. Because he had "knocked her up". Susan had been devastated. She moved back in with her parents and cut out all contact with her ex. Courtney was only two.
The Early Years: 1995-2007 (3-15)
Courtney's mother changed her last name back to Whitmore and no more was spoke about the matter. It never really bothered Courtney. It just meant her mother was hers and only hers. She didn't have to share like the other kids her age. It also didn't hurt that her Grandparents were "totally awesome" as the little girl would say. However that began to change as she grew older. After her Grandparents passed when she was twelve she suffered a bout of depression. After that she had a new desire to know her father. At first she accepted her mother's unwillingness to tell her. Then, as she reached her teen years she resented her mother for never telling her anything about her father. Their screaming matches were stuff of legend. Each one lashing out to protect their wounded feelings. Eventually Courtney stopped pushing, though she has tried to find out on her own. It also didn't help that her mother began dating once more.
Trouble in Paradise: 2007 (15)
The gulf between mother and daughter widened when her mother started going steady with a man named Pat. Courtney would go out of her way to be mean to him to drive him off. It only served to make her mother even more angry with her. Despite all of Courtney's protests her mother married him becoming a Dugan. Courtney threatens all manner of misdeeds and bodily harm to retain the last name Whitmore. Pat never seemed terribly upset, a stark counter point to her mother's disappointment. This only pissed Courtney off more.
Things go from bad to worse when Pat moves the family to Nebraska. Blue-freaking-Valley, Nebraska. She stopped talking to her mother and stepfather completely. She started staying away from home as much as she could and ended up making friends that didn't exactly encourage good choices. Courtney was still in full on rebellion mode when it was announced that her mother was pregnant.
Things go from bad to worse when Pat moves the family to Nebraska. Blue-freaking-Valley, Nebraska. She stopped talking to her mother and stepfather completely. She started staying away from home as much as she could and ended up making friends that didn't exactly encourage good choices. Courtney was still in full on rebellion mode when it was announced that her mother was pregnant.
Year of the Rat: 2008 (16)
Courtney's little sister Patricia was born just a few months into the worst year of her life. Just days after the birth Courtney gets expelled from school for fighting. The two kids she fought were also expelled. Pat bundles her off to summer camp which was basically a boot camp with pink signs. There Courtney makes the first of her life long friends, Mary. She had anger issues like Courtney and when the two weren't yelling at each other, they devised annoying pranks to pull on the camp "instructors". Though the two were separated after the camp, they kept in lose contact through texts, emails and phone calls.
Year of the Tiger: 2010 (18)
Courtney graduated high school, no thanks to her black mark of expulsion. She packs up the next day and announced her intention to go on a road trip to "find herself" with a two of her girl friends. Her mother at this point had pretty much given up on her wayward daughter and didn't offer any protests. There was just relief that she was out of the house. It was, surprisingly enough to Courtney, Pat who had nearly thrown a fit. He only agreed that she could go if she and her friends all enrolled (and attended and passed) a self defense class for a month. After they did so, Courtney and her friends flew to the East Coast where they meet up with Mary. From there they road tripped cross country to California. Mary and Courtney dropped off the other two friends at their college and drove back to New York. From there Courtney reluctantly flew back home.
Turtle versus the Hare: Late 2010-2012 (19-20)
Once back home Courtney packs up everything she wanted in her car, sells the rest and moves out. She rebuffed all attempts to reconcile with her mother and Pat. She gets odd jobs here and there, but never stays in one place for long. After a while she ended up living out of her car, unable to pay rent. Courtney, at this point begins to settle into a depression and wonders what she's going to do with the rest of her life.
While trapped in her depressive lethargy Courtney meets Dylan. He volunteered at the local soup kitchen. For a while the two flirted, but they never became more than just friends. Dylan was the one who introduced her to a shelter. The Woman's Shelter helped Courtney begin to feel like she had purpose again. Courtney ended up being a full time volunteer and even started filling out paperwork to join the Peace Corps.

Year of the Snake: Start 2013 (21)
Courtney shakes off her depression and all is pretty right in the world. What she never expected was to get approached by an alien. Called himself Starman. Or as he later confessed, Jack Knight. Infact, it turned out that he wasn't so alien. Years before he had left earth with the Comic staff and went to live on another planet. He was kind of sketchy about the details, no matter how hard Courtney tried to get him to tell her. She fell in love with his stories about outer space. Even though she thought he was a loon, making it all up even if there was a legitimate alien running around named Superman.
After a few months Jack confesses that he's dying. He then takes Courtney out on a trip with his Staff. Afterwards he tells her that he wants her to have his staff. Courtney is floored by his actions. At first she refuses. After all, what would she do with it? Jack had laughed at that. Then he told her to be a hero. She could right wrongs. For a while she does truly think he's lost it. Then he tells her that he can see greatness in her. That she was meant for better. Year of the Horse: 2014 (22)
Courtney's start of her heroine career did not have an auspicious start. It was more a series of disasters barely adverted as she learned how to use the Staff's powers. More than once she went to the hospital with bullet wounds. One of those trips, Pat showed up and confronted her. Courntey ended up telling him everything and to her surprise he agreed to help her. Turned out Pat used to know Jack from his line of work. Pat's an ex-spy with his friend Sylvester Pemberton, a mad tech genius.
Pat takes her to Sylvester. Sylvester had been working on tech modeled off the Cosmic Staff. With Courtney agreeing to loan the Staff for a bit, he created her a piece called the Cosmic Belt. When she asked why, Pat said it was because he wanted her to be safe. Sylvester insisted that Courtney keep in touch with him. She didn't mind much since they had become friends. She even liked his sister Merry.

Pat, after getting her the belt, trains her. He taught her everything he knew and even helped her with her hero-ing. With the assistance of her step-father, she becomes a rather good superhero.
Turning Full Circle: Current: 2016 (24)
Courtney moved to New York City at the behest of her friend Mary and also the Pembertons. She quickly garnered a reputation as Stargirl. She even gained a few rogues of her own. Though most of them are currently serving time in jail.

ShivShiv is the daughter of the supervillain Dragon King. She has a grudge against Stargirl.
Character Goals:
To mainly have fun. Courtney is a sassy, cocky girl. But she'll always be there for people. Everyone else seems so serious, I thought a light-hearted person would be good to include.
Sample Post:
The gravel grated Courtney's hands as she skidded across the road. The curb bit ugly into her back and flipped her onto the sidewalk. The young woman groaned reaching blindly for the Cosmic Staff. Her hand only came up with open air. Blue eyes snapped open. She cast about, desperate.
"Looking for this?"
Courtney inhaled and braced herself as she sat up and looked at Shiv. The tall woman smirked, stroking the Staff. Her own dragon headed staff had been cast away for the new prize.
"Give it back." Courtney croaked. She wiped her mouth as blood threatened.
"No, I think not." Shiv crooned as she pointed the crook head at Courtney. There was a moment of silence then Shiv's face twisted in anger. Courtney couldn't help the smile that creeped onto her face.
"Trouble?" She taunted, probably a bit too cocky. Her back and hands ached from road rash, but the sight of seeing Shiv throw a tantrum was almost worth it. "I guess it doesn't like you."
CRACK
Courtney looked up at the sky dazed. Shiv loomed over her, staff in hand. It took her a few precious seconds to process that she had been whipped across the face by her own Staff. Above her Shiv was yelling something. However Courtney's attention was more focused on the Staff being raised for another blow. Anger rose in her bosom and she grabbed a hold of it, using it.
Focusing her anger Courtney kicked out at Shiv's legs as the Staff came down. It unbalanced the already mentally unbalanced woman enough that as the Staff came down Courtney was able to turn out of it's path. She winced as it hit the concrete, hard. She hoped the Staff was durable enough for that.
As her mind provided commentary as she reached out for the Staff. The metal was warm under her hands. Every time she held it she never ceased to be in awe of it. The warm reached into her very bones and soothed her. Shiv shouted and pulled on the Staff. Courtney wrapped herself around it and with the barest mental suggestion, Shiv went flying away. Launched off by the residual cosmic energy.
Shiv landed on her feet, much more gracefully than Courtney. Her face still twisted in a snarl. "Who are you?" She hissed out. She sounded almost like the dragon her father was trying to pretend to be.
"Stargirl." Courtney said as she pulled herself to her feet. She wobbled a bit, leaning on her Staff for support. She tensed as Shiv moved. But Shiv moved back, away from Courtney. At first the woman was confused, then she heard the sound of sirens. Right.
Shiv vanished. Not even a trace of her two toned hair. Courtney turned to look at the museum and winced. One of the Greek pillars was gone. Well, not all the way gone. Some of the bottom was still there. And then there was the rubble strewn about the street. Of course Courtney rathered that result than her body smeared on said pillar. Somehow she didn't think the cops would take that as a reasonable excuse.
Courtney tightened her grip on the staff. It hummed just a little as she lifted it then sat on it like a witch on her broomstick. A little maniacal laugh burst out of her.
"Some superhero I am." She murmured to herself through the laugh, looking up to the stars. "Jack..." She sighed and lifted further up into the air as the first cop car rounded the corner. Time to go. She turned her Staff around and drifted off, lazily to hopefully conserve the power. She still had no idea how much she had used, nor how much was left. If only Jack had stuck around to at least give her the basics.

Physical Description: George is six foot even. He keeps his black hair cut military short. His eyes are a steel grey. He has various scars from his years of service. None of them are visible while he's fully clothed but one. On his right forearm he has a scar from a knife. Most of the time he covers it with a leather wrist band, because he doesn't like to talk about it.
Most of the time George, while on the job, is found in his SHIELD uniform. While off the job he leans towards old camo pants and lightly ratty t-shirts. However his wife thoroughly disapproves of his wardrobe choices. Which means that one day when he came home, all his old clothes were tossed. So he makes due with suits and nicer jeans, plus whatever shirts his wife stuffs him into.
Personality: The people who work with George describe him as hard. They say he's hard working, but he also hold everyone else to his standards. When he asks for something done, and it doesn't get done, he doesn't like excuses, even if they're legitimate. However he's understanding if you come to him before the deadline. It's no secret around SHIELD that he's looking forward to retirement. If you catch him when he's free he'll chat your ear off about his plans after SHIELD.
However, since SHIELD was disbanded and came back under Coulson, he's stopped talking about retiring. He's also gotten a lot more somber. He no longer mentions his life outside of work, and gets cagey when it's brought up. That being said, George is still a nice person. (As long as your competent of course!)
History: George was born into a military family. His father was in the Amry, and his grandfathers (on both sides) had also served. It was no surprise when he and his older brothers all ended up in the army. What was surprising was the fact that, after two years, George transferred out of the Army to work with SHIELD.
When George was twenty one he married his high school sweetheart, Dana. They had their first child, a daughter, just a year later. There was a one year gap between their first and their second, a boy. Their third child came two years after that and was a little girl. Their youngest is current 10 and is, according to George, the cutest thing ever.
At SHEILD he ended up in a team with Phil Coulson. The two became friends and taught each other from their strengths. Coulson fanboyed about the superheroes, especially Captain America. George taught him different martial arts. On a few vacations the two ended up travelling across Asia, where they learned all sorts of different martial arts. Like Coulson, George quickly moved up through the ranks. He showed both skill and initiative. Because of this George and Coulson ended up working apart from each other more often than not. But it never stopped the two from being friends.
When SHIELD disbanded George went home. It isn't common knowledge but Coulson was the one who called George back in. Coulson wanted someone he trusted and those people were few and far in between. George agreed and returned to take over his own special tasks team. Coulson gave him people who knew what they were doing, but he's not sure of their loyalty after hearing about Ward. Coulson had confessed the betrayal had left it's marks. George knew he just wasn't talking about Ward.
Skills:
- Expert Martial Artist: George is trained in various types of fighting styles and techniques. He studied both abroad and in the states. He knows most everything from MMA to more esoteric Martial Arts.

Appearance: Ginny is on the shorter side. She only stands at five foot three. She has short, dyed, blonde hair. Her natural color is a darker brown. She has blue-green eyes and a fair complexion. Ginny is skinny and rather flat and without curves, however she knows how to dress to highlight what little assets she has.

Superpowers: Psychometry (ESP)
Whenever Ginny touches and person or object she can get a "reading" off of it. For example, if Ginny touches a door knob and concentrates, she can see the last couple of people who also touched the door knob and know when they did so. However not all readings are clear. The older the object is, the easier it is to get a reading. If there was a traumatic event attached to the object, the easier it would be to see it. The newer the object is, the harder. People are extremely hard and most readings are nonsensical. Ginny cannot get readings off charred objects (if nothing has touched it after the burning) or liquids or gases.

- Ginny can hack almost all computers, but not from a distance. She uses her ESP to "see" the passwords from the keyboard.

While at work, Ginny (known as Broker) is a cold person. Some people have gone as far to call her frigid. She prefers to be described as detached. She doesn't want, nor cares, to like the people she works with. She just thinks of them a tools or means to an end. She is a very hard working woman who likes to be through. She rarely delegates anything to anyone and trusts no one but herself.
When Ginny is with friends she is practically a different person. She is very open and warm. Though she is an almost compulsive liar. She likes to laugh and tell jokes. She is also a very tactile person. Chances are she'll want to hold your hand. Ginny also tends to spend a lot of money on clothes and accessories. She'll also donate a bit to whatever charity strikes her fancy. All of her friends view Ginny as a very loyal, abet busy person.
Ginny has a special place in her heart for Mixtape. She has a carte blanch for anyone who can bring his secret identity to her. If it's a customer, she'll give them whatever information they want for as long as they want it. And if it's one of her minions, she'll give them their own city to work.
What makes Mixtape so hated in Ginny's book is that he doesn't take anything seriously and yet he wins, constantly. He keeps nipping at her heels and disrupting her work. She's promised herself she'll personally kill the flamboyant man.
History: Ginny was born to poor parents. They wasted whatever money they gained on booze and drugs. Needless to say home life was no life for little Ginny. She spent a lot of time at school, either in the library or on the playground. She rarely went home unless she had to. Because of her peculiar gifts she excelled in school. She graduated High School by the age 14 and went to college. She gained her emaciation the very next year when she was fifteen.
Since she had a free ride to Yale, she focused on ridding herself of her past and elevating herself. She went to work for a pharmaceutical corporation, Axell Corp., and started earning more money. But it wasn't enough for Ginny. Through her connections she began to discover the world of blackmail. The added income was very much needed and appreciated. By the time she was seventeen, Broker, was a force in the underground. If you wanted information Broker would get it to you at a price. Ginny didn't care who she sold information to, as long as they paid.
By the time she was in her twenties she had set herself up an empire in the underworld. In her alternate life she was now a shareholder in Axell Corp. Her quick and deft mind kept her above scrutiny and climbing the corporate later. However not all was rosy. Ginny was able to keep her identity a secret through an intense game of shuffle with Mixtape. Quite a few individuals in her organization have gone to jail in her place.

Bill was born 1830. His family was of middling wealth. Unfortunately for Bill he was born fifth. He had two older brothers and two older sisters. His eldest brother was to inherit the family business. His second oldest brother, the one closest to him in age joined the church as soon as he could. His sisters were married off as business deals. By the time he was old enough to walk he knew his destiny wasn't at home. Taking that revelation to heart he became a solider.
Bill ended up in the American Army for a time. His parentage granted him an officer's commission, yet he was placed further out west because of the little influence his parents had. Bill, of course, was okay with this. His unit routinely skirmished with the Rednecks. When the government decided that to sign the Homestead law in 1862, Bill and his unit was sent to protect the pioneers.
Tragedy befell his unit and the men and women they were protecting. To this day Bill cannot recall the events clearly, just the screaming. When he finally staggered into a small town he collapsed and remained insensible for days. When he awoke he learned all his men were dead. Bill never returned to the East; leaving the Army to believe he died with his men. Instead Bill set off to make sense of what had happened to him.
Within a few months Bill was found by the Brigade and was extended an offer to join them. They'd help him find out what happened in exchange for his service. Bill signed up after a little hesitation. It was only after they told him he could help others not suffer as he had that he agreed.

While Jesse wouldn't be born for nearly 50 years, it's important to know where she comes from. In 1911, Jesse's grandmother Bess Lynn is born. Bess was a strong, willful woman. She was ostracized because she didn't act like a female. But that never deterred Bess. She ignored people as they gossiped. Even despite the fact she had married Mr. Lawrence and had a child by the time she was nineteen. The child was named Libby. She was born in 1930. The next year Bess joined the Army at the age of twenty and became Miss Liberty. She even fought in the war effort in the 40s, one of the few women to actually see combat.
Then there was Johnny Chambers. Johnny was born in 1923. When the bombings at Pearl Harbor occurred Johnny was one of the young men in line to join the War. During the war he used his Speed Formula to help fight the Nazi's. It was around that time that he meet Bess Lawrence. The two became friends and they made up a special squad due to their unique abilities.

He started a company named Quick Start to fund his research. During this time he married the daughter of Bess, Libby. Young Libby had the same abilities as her mother, but hated them deeply. She had watched her mother be shamed and ostracized for her behavior and vowed to be a good girl. Though she couldn't help but love the charming gentleman, a real war hero.
For a while Libby was perfectly content. In 1955 Johnny and Libby had a daughter they named Jesse.

The marriage of Johnny and Libby had always been rocky. It wasn't built to last. Something Johnny's friend had told him. Libby was too conservative. She hated anything to do with the Speed Formula and her mother's powers. It didn't make it better that little Jesse was exhibiting super strength also. As Johnny pushed his research into research journals and during lectures, Libby became more and more unhappy with her husband.
Things came to a head in the sixties. Libby's and Johnny's marriage came to a screaming end. Libby took Johnny to court and routed him. She took his company and every single dime he was worth. The only thing she left was her daughter, Jesse. Fortunately the toddler didn't remember any of this and her father never told her it was because she had super human strength and that her mother couldn't handle it.

He always kept his identity a secret to the public during the war and after. Still he maintained that somehow Garrick was his fictional counterpart. Jesse had just rolled her eyes, much to her father's chagrin.
Jesse's desire to follow in his footsteps reached a damper as she tried to reconnect with her mother in her teen years. Libby hadn't wanted anything to do with her daughter and finally finding out the truth drove Jesse into a depression. She had tried to cope, as all teenagers do, by taking it out on her father. She blamed her dad for her mother's hate. Those years soured the girl against anything superhero related.

Jesse finally succumbed to her father's desires in the 80s. For a short time she was apart of the JSA. Taking a leaf out of her father's book she called herself Jesse Quick. Like her father she kept her real identity a secret. Despite herself she found her time with the JSA enjoyable. She made fast friends with the members and they became something of a surrogate family. By the time the 90s start to roll around, Jesse thinks she's found where she can be happy.
Johnny Dies at the EndJesse Becomes a CEO
But happiness never lasts. In '93 on August 3rd at 0300, Johnny died. Jesse doesn't like to talk about it, or even hear about it, but it happened. Johnny had died saving Jesse's life. The only blessing was he merged right with the speed force so she didn't have to see him die horribly. Johnny was only 70, but he looked like he was still in his 30s.

Return of the Quick
Now in her 60s, Jesse has taken back up the mantle of Jesse Quick in the wake of Superman's death. In lieu of her decision she has made Seth Roth acting CEO in her place.

Jesse was never a very emotional woman. Being in your sixties tends to temper your emotions. Even in her younger years the only emotions she'd ever show were things like determination and stubbornness. The only exception is when her father died. It was made doubly more emotional because he sacrificed his life for hers. And even that was over thirty years ago. Yet, when she watched Doomsday come to earth and fight Superman, she was just as afraid as anyone else.
Christmas eve was supposed to be a time for celebration. It was something that Quickstart Enterprises endorsed. They offered paid vacation for all employees from the 23rd of December to the 27th. Those who are not Christian could get different days off. For example, those who practice Hinduism and celebrated Pancha Ganapati got the 21st to the 25th off. Of course Hanukkah didn't have any set days by the Gregorian calendar, it was decided what days they'd have off at the beginning of each year. This year is had begun on the 6th. Still QSE had sent their Jewish workers home to celebrate the holidays for the 24th and 25th.
No one was supposed to be at QSE. Not even Jesse. When the news broke about Doomsday Jesse had sat in her office and stared out the window, listening. The news played on every station and was all over the internet. It became a senseless blur as she listened to the bow-by-blow news cast.
Superman was ducking it out with the creature the news called Doomsday. Jesse's stomach is still doing gymnastics from the news of the Justice League International. The idea that Doomsday had ripped through them like tissue paper was hard to swallow. As the news report continued Jesse closed her eyes and offered up a prayer to whomever was listening. Jesse was a self proclaimed atheist, but now seemed a good time to see if anyone was listening.
Jesse finally snapped out of her numb horror as the news caster she was listening too fell silent. Jesse turned back to the large screen on her wall. A lone camera man was leaning out of a helicopter, had to in order to get that shot, and filming something. Jesse found herself standing and moving closer to the screen.
Everything was eerily quiet. Nothing was visible, dust was covering everything. Jesse was with the world as they watched with baited breath.
When the dust cleared it was obvious why there was no movement. Jesse found herself on her knees, cry as she hadn't done in ages. As she cried she thought of her father, who had died to save her. Superman had died to save them all. Jesse still remembered when he first came out. An Alien. He had been feared, even respected. But never human. And he had done this thing for them.
As she kneeled on her office floor on Christmas day she thought about her father. She thought about Superman. And she thought about her life. When she finally pulled herself off the floor she had decided that it was time for Jesse Quick to return to action. It was time to stop hiding from her father's legacy; from her destiny. It was time to become who she was meant to be.

Noriko is the serious sister. She loves life and enjoys being a Ninja. However she isn't as competitive as her youngest sister. Nor does she feel obligated to be a Ninja. It merely was the logical decision in her mind. After all her parents were both ninjas and it felt natural to her. Overall Noriko is calculating. She comes across as cold to most people, but that's just because she doesn't care about them. The only people she cares about are her parents and her sisters.
Sometimes Noriko has problems determining right from wrong. Excessive from light handed. She also enjoys having power over other people. Though she does know that's not quite right. She also know if she's not careful she'll go down a dark path. When things don't go her way, she will get even at a later time.

This propelled her to mature faster. Still, her nurturing nature made it's appearance and she never resented mothering her sisters.
With taking care of her siblings practically a full time job Noriko didn't have much use for friends. Instead she dedicated her free time to learning ninjutsu and taijutsu. When she was of age she joined the ninja academy in Konohagakure. She pushed herself a lot harder than her teammates and it caused a large amount of tension. For Noriko wanted to be a chūnin as fast as she could, but her teammates didn't.
Eventually she ditched her teammates to join another team, Daiki and Ichiro, going to the Chūnin Exams. Out of the three man team only Noriko and Daiki became chūnin. This severed all good will between Daiki and Ichiro. However during the exam Noriko and Daiki became friends which quickly progressed to lovers. Still it wasn't meant to last. Daiki resented how much time Noriko spent with her younger siblings and left her.
Heartbroken, Noriko swore off men and instead redoubled her efforts on her shinobi skills. One day soon she hopes to become a Jounin and lead her own team.

Umary is the cheerful middle child. She loves life and wants to enjoy it to the fullest. As the middle child Umary is often the last to be noticed. Sandwiched between two strong personalities she is often forgotten. But Umary often likes it best that way. She is often away from home spending time with friends.
Because of this she was the most reluctant to become a Ninja. She would have rather not, but felt pressured it join. In the end she decided she could do good for shinobi. She is happy that the world is at peace. But the cracks in the peace worry her. Mostly her worries center around her sisters who are pulling opposite directions.

Umary was the middle child. Her earliest memories were of being taken care of by Noriko. It's strange, but her elder sister was always more of a mother to her. When her mother, Chou, actually began to be home for longer periods of time, it was an adjustment for all of them. At first Umary resented it. Her mother was a strong woman and often dismissed Umary out of hand because of her docile nature.
Adding to her mother's return was the pressure to live up to their family's legacy. Eventually the desire to be loved and accepted drove Umary to becoming a Genin. It was at this point that her mother actually acknowledged her as a member of the family.
Umary's time as a Genin wasn't the best time of her life. She spent a lot of time over at her teammate's homes and away from hers. In a way she was closer to others than her own family. It was during this time that she was happy to discover her abilities were like her father's. When she made the switch over to focusing on medical techniques life picked up. It was also in this same time period that her father returned from his missions and began to teach her his skills.
Life of Umary was picking up. She had good friends. The love of her father. Noriko who loved her and Cheiko who was like a little puppy. With the help of her family she was able to pass the Chunin Exams. Ironically she was on the same team as her youngest sister Cheiko. As of the moment Umary is very happy being a chunin and has no further designs on upward movement.

Umary's dreams are simple. She wants to retire in a small village and live out her years in peace. Maybe she might even marry a man who is a little simple and have peaceful children. Umary fears war. Chieko is the shortest of her sisters. She takes after her mother who wasn't very tall. She stands at five foot four. She has short red hair and green eyes. She usually sports a frown on her face. Like her oldest sister Chieko is flat as a board but very muscular. Chieko has many scars, mainly on her hands from her focus on Taijutsu. Because of this she usually wears gloves to cover the scars.

Chieko, as the youngest child, always feels like she has something to prove. She's usually quite grumpy and takes everything way too seriously. She's always getting into fights with her sisters or her teammates. She doesn't much care what other people think of her as long as they acknowledge she's the strongest in her family. Her fierce drive pushes her harder then her sisters. Her default reaction in battle it to punch it until it stops moving. The only one who can curb her violent reactions is Umary. Despite Chieko's unhappy disposition she loves her family very much. Her true goal is to protect them, though she'll deny it to her last breath.
【History】
Chieko was the last child to be born to her parents. Shortly after she was born her mother left on a mission leaving her to be raised by her sister. This lead Chieko to believe that she wasn't worth it, that she was weak somehow. When she was young her mother took a break from being a shinobi and took back over the household. Her father did not. It wasn't until she hit her teens that her father was around regularly. When he is home he spends more time with her sister Umary, who inherited his power set. Which Chieko resents.
In her younger years she'd push herself to become better. Sometimes she'd vanish for days before returning with a new skill, be it tai- or nin-. She was always a challenging person. Always unhappy with her own skills and viewing herself as never being good enough. She ran Noriko around and tried her best to give her eldest sister white hair. During her absences Chieko saw first hand that the Confederation wasn't all knowing and good. She saw injustice and ended up joining the Red Sages.
Despite being two years younger than Umary she became a Chunin at the same time. She will tell anyone who will listen that Umary only passed because she had Chieko on her team. Becoming a Chunin was a proud achievement in Chieko's book. And indeed, it was a proud time for her family. Her Eldest sister then challenged her to make it to a Jounin before she did. This is Chieko's current goal.

The blade is held between the fingers, but as soon as it is let go, the blade vanishes into thin air. The strength of this blade isn't as strong as a normal blade, as it is nowhere as dense or as heavy. But because the blade is very thin, it is capable of doing some major damage, if used properly.

Jessica is tall and skinny. While being slender, she's fit, which means she has nearly no butt to speak of and she's flat in front. Jessica is either seen in her socializing scene, decked out in jewels and the finest clothes. Or in "work" clothes. Which are usually ratty jeans and a t-shirt.

Bio: Jessica is a little bit of a split personality to those who don't really know her. On one hand she is a socialite, a very social butterfly and gossip. Always chatting and holding great parties. She drinks a fair amount and likes her men to be lookers. Most of the time in the wealthy circles, she acts like she really doesn't know anything. Beautiful, but dumb. Outside of these circles, Kim is smart. She isn't above double crossing or using people to get what she wants. She has few friends, only two. She loves pretty things and will do most anything to obtain them. She has also been known to be a little unhealthy in her fixations.
Born to rich parents, Jessica grew up spoiled. When Jessica was younger her parents would leave her at their mansion in New York with a nanny. Her nanny gave little Jessica whatever she wanted. As she grew up she began to go to school. There she made few friends. Those that she did get along with, were barely tolerable and not really friends. They were often mean and nasty to each other, constantly putting each other down about how fat they were or ugly. When Jessica was old enough she convinced her parents to let her come with them on business meetings.
Jessica still remembers the first time she had been told no. She doesn't remember why they were there but she remembers the painting. A gorgeous woman in white. It was the Lady Hamilton as Circe by George Romney in 1782. How little Jessica wanted the painting. She told her parents to buy it and told "no". The shock was never nearly the end of Jessica. But it didn't get the better of her. From that point on Jessica fixated on the painting.
Jessica's true first friend was found on a business trip to shanghai. The younger Chinese girl, Wang Mei Lin, didn't speak a word of English, not did Jessica speak a word of Cantonese. Jessica went home that night and demanded to learn how to speak Cantonese. Her parents did her one better and taught her both Cantonese and Mandarin at the same time. By the time Jessica was in her late teens she was pretty much fluent in the two languages.
Jessica also started to learn German on her own when she decided she'd be the one to find the treasure the Nazi's stole in WWII. When she came into her parents money after their deaths when she was twenty, she tried to buy the painting that she had coveted nearly her entire life. When that failed, she turned to theft. Not of the painting, but other ones. From private collectors, from crooks, from their hiding places in the world. She stole whatever struck her fancy and sold the rest to fund her enterprise.
Jessica sometimes returns to the Tate in London to visit the painting when it goes on display. However she leaves it alone. Once, Mei Lin asked Jessica why, and all she received as an answer was "because that's how it must be". Mei Lin assists Jessica on her escapades. To the world at large Mei Lin is an Asian oddity. There is even gossip that Mei Lin and Jessica are lovers. The truth is unconfirmed.
Also assisting Jessica is Devin, a computer geek. Jessica slept with him in college and while the two are no longer together, they are still good friends.
When Jessica turned twenty three she dropped out of college and began to set herself up as a full time thief. She predominately steals artwork, though she does keep a few pieces. She has also been known to freelance for certain individuals if the job is interesting and the price is right. However, to the public Jessica is a bimbo who tosses extravagant parties and is blowing through her parent's money.
Weaponry: Jessica carries a hand gun, Glock 19 Gen4 (9mm Luger). She also carries mace, a ceramic blade, a two combat knifes.
Equipment: Jessica's equipment varies on her type of mission. If she's infiltrating a party for information she wouldn't bring things like work boots or climbing rope. Same goes for if she's spelunking, she wouldn't wear heels and a pretty dress. Being independently wealthy helps her get her hands on anything she needs no matter where she is in the world.

The shorter the contact time the less damage is done.
Living things: Effects nervous systems in his victims. Causes the messages the body sends not only from cell to cell, but from the brain to everything, to go awry. This can result in immobilization, unconsciousness, or seizures. In worst case scenarios it can cause death.
Technology: Scrambles the system so it no longer functions properly. In the most mundane sense it causes malfunctions. Any device with electricity is effected. However if it is powered down (has no electricity) while Kyle is in physical contact nothing will happen. Effects can range from temporary static to a fried system depending on the piece of technology.

Much like the legendary Canary Cry, Mailsi's wails can destroy anything within a four foot radius. And can damage objects within a seven foot radius after that. She cannot kill people even if she stands right next to them due to the Supernatural origin of her powers. Like her mother death can only be caused within a certain range as long as she can see her victim and knows their secret true name. Victims are usually reduced to desiccated husks. However she can cause permanent damage including deafness when they stand too close.
-Teleportation
Mailsi is able to use her sound/sonic-based abilities to teleport via sound waves. This forces her body to change into something resembling the very sound waves she travels upon.
-Enhanced Strength
Unlike her mother, Mailsi, doesn't have Superhuman strength. However it is by far greater than a normal person's strength. At her peak strength she can maybe lift, over her head, a ton. Which is nearly double what the strongest man alive can lift (.5 tons.) When pushing or pulling dead weight she can do about 4 tons. More if she uses science.
-Enhanced Agility
Mailsi is nimble and quick. She would make many gymnasts cry in pure jealously at the things she can do without any training or practice. Not only is she physical agile. So too is she mentally. Lots of things come easily to her, philosophy, math, sciences and puzzle solving. However she's never really had any appreciation for the arts.
-Enhanced Speed
Mailsi can sprint almost twice as fast as the fastest recorded speed, which is about 50 mph. However she cannot keep up this speed for very long and tends to get really tired.
-Enhanced Endurance
To keep up with her other skills Mailsi also has greater endurance. She can run longer, lift things longer, etc.
-Enhanced resistance to physical and energy-based attacks
Mailsi has a better resistance to things like blunt force trauma and even energy based trauma.
-Multilingualism
Mailsi can learn, and speak fluently, any language almost immediately, simply by hearing a small portion of the language. She can do this for anything from the Kryptonian language, to the cooing of a dove.

The Wail is almost always non-fatal. Which could be seen as a strength rather than a weakness. But with a family like Mailsi's this is definitely considered a weakness. Not of skill, but of personality. Mailsi's wail also has a very limited range. Though it will continue improving as she ages and practices.

Since her ability to teleport is based on sound waves. She is also constrained by those same waves. If the wave doesn't go in a certain direction, she cannot go that way. Travelling by this way is also incredibly exhausting. Even with the enhanced body to maintain this sort of travel.
-Enhanced Strength, Agility, Speed, Endurance and Resistance
All of these are Enchanced, not Superhuman. She cannot stand toe-to-toe with a Kryptonian or a Martian.
-Sound Manipulation
Unlike her mother Mailsi never gained the ability to manipulate sounds waves. She cannot do simple things like manipulate/amplify her own voice. Or even to produce different sound waves.
-Dual Formed
Due to the supernatural original of Mailsi' powers, she can only access her powers (The Wail, Teleportation) when she changes into her Silver Banshee form. Mailsi's appearance as the Silver Banshee is nearly identical except that her mother has longer hair than Mailsi. Outside of her Banshee form she still has the enhanced skills and multilingualism.

It's complicated. Those just aren't words for Facebook. They were for Mailsi's life. Of course they didn't even begin to describe the weirdness. The teen round housed kicked one of the various thugs near her. The hefty man staggered back but remained standing. His white eyes never focused and told Mailsi that he was dead, or magicked or both.
Magic was one of the causes of her weirdness in life. Her mother, the original Silver Banshee, had been the epicenter of all of it. Which was the reason why Mailsi was out at Stupid Early fighting a magicked thug over a really old piece of art. That in Mailsi's opinion was hideous.
"<Really?>" Mailsi chattered in Gallic. "<You came all this way to steal from the National Museum and you steal that painting. Are you blind.>"
Mailsi ducked a fist and retaliated with a punch of her own. As it connected she could feel it slam into the guy's side. The force of the hit reverberated back up her arm as there was no give.
"<Oh wait sorry. You are.>" Mailsi chuckled even as she danced back from another blow. "<Blind and dumb.>"
At this the thug grunted and renewed his efforts to hit the teen. Mailsi, thanks to her mother's gifts, was able to dodge with ease. Unfortunately she couldn't unleash her Wail because that would destroy a lot of priceless artifacts seeing as they were having a WWE hit fest in the middle of the previous mentioned museum.
Instead Mailsi continued to dodge and try to lead the thug somewhere less costly is she damaged anything. Of course that meant leaving the other robbers alone, but beggars can't be choosers. Plus, her mother was on the scene. The original Banshee was nothing to take lightly.
"<Seriously. Did you mommy drop you on your head one too many times?>" Mailsi continued to taunt him. The eerie white eyes never left her face. Yet he allowed himself to be lead outside. Cop cars had blocked the street, for Dublin never slept, casting flicking shadows on the building walls. Mailsi kept up her stream of words, leading him down the steps and into the vacant street. The police were nice enough to give her room.
"<Drop the painting and fight me like a man or are you chicken?>" Mailsi tried to get him to drop the painting before she Wailed. Luck was in her favor because at her words the Thug dropped the painting and charged her.
Mailsi stood her ground unstil she deamed the man far enough away then she let loose with her Wail. Her silver hair whipped out around her head as the scream permeated the air. When she closed her mouth the charging man face planted into the concrete.
Mailsi looked around to make sure there wasn't too much damage. One of the cop cars looked like it had a cracked windshield, but other than that all was good.
"<Damn.>" Mailsi put her hands on her hips as the cops surged forwards to restain the fallen robber. "<I'm good.>" She smiled up as she watched her mother emerge from the museum dragging the rest of the robbers after her.
