Kate fired another arrow at a Doombot. It staggered then toppled over into another, taking that one down too. The young woman was one of the oldest of the Young Avengers. And she kind of felt a little responsible for them. She drew and nocked another arrow to her bow. Well, it was kind of her bow. She had received it from the (then not now) deceased Hawkeye. Not directly. Nor did she receive it directly from Captain America with his blessing. Sometimes thinking about her life made her head hurt.
Kate fired again as she heard Patriot start to speak. He was very nearly an echo of the Captain America 'I disapprove of you' voice. And having been on the receiving end of that voice, she had it on good authority. And it had just the same result when used on the evil guys. Doom protested that they were stupid and useless.
Kate was sure Doom was going to launch himself into one of his monologues. So she twisted and aimed her next arrow at the artifact. Right before she could release it began to glow. Shooting a glowing ancient object of unknown power was probably not the best idea. With another twist Kate released the arrow into another Doombot and kicked another in the same movement. Most of her team was concentrating just on Doom. Leaving her with the mass of Doombots. Because of this she missed the introduction of the portal. She only looked back at Doom as Eli shouted at them to retreat.
Hawkeye was far enough away that she probably could have gotten away. But there'd be no way she'd leave her teammates. She pulled out another arrow and fired it, trying to get it to hit the object. But the pull of gravity was too strong and sucked it into the portal. That was when she began to feel the tug of the portal. The Asian girl tried to moved further away but it was too strong. Kate watched in horror as all her friends got sucked in one by one until it was her turn.
"Worst trip ever." Kate groaned, hand to her head as she came to.
Kate lifted her head and easily spotted Cassie next to her. She reached out and grabbed the shoulder of her friend. "You okay?" While she was doing so she spotted nearly the rest of her team. There was Billy, Eli, and Tommy. But where was Teddy and Spiderman? And who was the lady in fishnets and the kid in the yellow costume?
"Doom!" Kate snapped out not waiting for Cassie's answer. Her head whipped around to where Doom had been only to see nothing. Kate blinked.

Well, I'm still waiting on OneWay for Ash. But I posted Philly. And had Vince written away. Literally. He walked away. :\
Philly and her family had claimed a place at a one of the two tables for themselves. Both Babs and Lynn were calm and happily eating dinner. Even this late at night their stomachs were in full swing. And speaking of stomachs, both Steve and Devin were shoving food into their faces like it might vanish at any moment.
"Slow down or you'll choke." Admonished Philly to her male relatives. The two rolled their eyes practically simultaneously. There might have been a mumbled sarcastic Yes Mom but it was hidden by Vince's rather... interesting arrival.
The younger boy pulled out a chair, sat down and removed his hat, placing it very nicely on the table. What he did next completely belied his seemingly benign actions. Without any warning or indication Vince let his head slam onto the table.
Philly jumped a little, startled. Even her siblings and cousins stopped shoving food in their faces to stare at Vince. The boy was seemingly frozen in place. The four Moores (and the one White/Moore spawn) just stared, unable to do much. Then he lifted his head and looked right at Philly.
Philly blinked at Vince. She obviously was catching the end of a conversation. Not that start. She had had practice with her siblings with this. The trick was saying the right thing without any freaking context.
"Because you're a masochist?" Devin pipped in before Philly could grab at any response.
The sixteen year old turned to glare at her cousin. She grabbed his plate and pulled it away from him. He let out a small cry and lunged after the plate. Steve, always up for anything, plucked the plate from Philly and lifted it over his head, out of Devin's reach.
The two satisfactory distracted, Philly turned her attention back to Vince.
"Ignore him. He's a moron." Philly mocked whispered with a mischievous look. She obviously meant for Devin to hear. In addition to trying to cheer up Vince. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Devin make a face out of her before going back to trying to get his food. Steve looked awfully smug about the whole thing.
Anyways, Philly must have done something right because he offered her a small smile.
"Thanks." Vince said before turning his head. Obviously he had spotted one of his other friends.

And @Lord Wraith, how were you able to use a different front?I'm pretty sure after looking over his signature he didn't use any special fonts. His Vigilance is just capitalized augmented with one of the headers
[h3][/h3] or [h2][/h2]. (I'm not sure which one without more research) And his RPs are smaller, capitalized and raised with the [sup][/sup] code. You can also lower them with [sub][/sub]I am trying to update my signature and make it cool. Is there a guide on how you do it?There is no guide sadly. Since there's a lot of coding not available, you just have to be a little creative.
