Blue Demon || Female || Older || Ace

I go by Blue, Demon or BD. Or even Hey You if it's clear enough that you're talking to me. XD I prefer Blue or Blue Demon. And no, I didn't choose "Blue" because I'm sad. It's my favorite color. (And now you know.)

Also, I just discovered DMC and now I'm Dante trash.

@Blue Demon I actually noticed the "Rodgers" thing all the way back when I saw your sheet in your character sheet thread. I thought better of mentioning it mainly because outside of the first "Rodgers" is was spelled correctly throughout. Plus I'm not a dick.

D: Mentioning it doesn't make you a Dick. Not mentioning it does that. XD Because letting me leave it there made me look moronic. ._.

Also. Page 120. Holy crap.

I haven't seen anything for the A-team, so here's me giving them some love. I've been re-watching the original series (thanks Netflix!) and I've got a hankering to modernize it and to make it more serious (not necessarily more serious in tone, but content and believability; Apart from the disaster of the movie remake). I'd need at least 3 people. If there's a lot of interest we could go up from there and fill in other positions such as friends of the A-team who assist, the clients and even the villains if we felt so inclined!

Spots are:
Hannibal
B.A.
H.M. Murdock
Face

Of course since we're modernizing it I wouldn't care if they changed gender, names, what have you. E.G. Hannibal is a cigar smoking BAMF five foot five woman named Julie (IDK, random name off the top of my head). Because that would be awesome. My only criteria is that they fulfill the same role. E.G. Hannibal is the leader and the one who comes up with the plans. Murdock is the pilot. Etc.

In terms of setting, it would be like the TV-show. It's not all going to be based in the U.S. There will be times when the team goes overseas. Either on a job or to escape from the military.

To keep in the spirit of the original A-team, there will be moments of over-the-top action (as my compatriot calls it) or campiness. However the only cap on it will be the requirement it is based in reality. Certain things like exploding cars, doing MacGyver like things with paper and twine in order to make a gun, those things are acceptable. Having a hoover car would not be. Because we don't have the technology to build it.

Despite the allowance for said action, this RP will have an air of seriousness. There will be consequences for actions. You blow up a car, people will die. Unless the car was empty (in which case there wouldn't be). If you find yourself in the realm of quasi-anime physics, you've probably strayed too far down the rabbit hole. If you need anymore clarification, please ask.

As for background. We'd keep with the same premise as the TV-show.
"In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team."
Original Opening Monologue
As in the team is on the run from the military. They wont be based out of LA, but might have contacts there. I know I always had a hard time believing they couldn't find the A-team when they showed up at B.A.'s mother's house.

Unlike in the show, where it focused more on the side jobs. I'd like to focus more on their main goal, getting their names cleared. Their merc for hire jobs will play a large part, but it's not the overarching plot. Chances are each "episode" will see the A-team helping out a new client while dodging the military. While the main goal will loom over everything.

Dibs: You may have noticed our Lovely Gowi is working on a Murdock CS. I however never function under a dibs or claimed system. Everyone is free to try for the same character if you so wish.

@SepI'm sorry. Arguing that Batman needs to be set up at this point is like arguing we need to explain how spaceships work in order to have a sci-fi movie.
As lets also remember, while Batman doesn't really need an origin, that this is Batmans first cinematic appearance.

How do you figure that? Batman's been on the big screen for years.
@Lord WraithWell, Ivy could come ruin things in Gotham. But you get her only after Sep and BlackSam. :o
@KingfisherI see.

Because all my research came to naught. I got things like:

Batman looks hella buff and stalky! Like a freakin Baby Bear ...
Do you think Batman smells hella bad? - Batman: Arkham ...
I'M HELLA BATMAN. | 200+ WATCHERS Q/A IS HERE! by ...
@KingfisherI noticed. I was just doing my research on your character to see if any of it was in character.
I'm dissaspointed in all of you. Apparently for 18 days my CS of Steve's was sitting there as Steve RODEGRS. roDgers. And none of you said a word.

Anyways. I fixed it so it is now Rogers. Like normal.

Also, BvS looks like it'll be good. Not as good as what Marvel is doing, but good nonetheless.
Honestly Laurel has been one of the only characters I've enjoyed in the current season. Her and Thea, everyone else I sit and roll my eyes at.

I can have a fist
