"String Shot!" Liam replied. a jet of thread issued forth and Totodile got tangled up inside it, slowing down. It still managed to scratch the Worm Pokemon.
"Bite!" Trevor called
"Tackle!" Liam replied. The attacks hit in unison and both Pokemon were knocked back.
"Water Gun!" Trevor said.
"String Shot!" The jet of water hit the worm before it could react. The string issued forth and tied up Totodile.
Totodile used scratch to free itself and Caterpie tackled it. Torrent activated
"Totodile, finish it with Scratch!" Totodile was startled when Caterpie fired String Shot upward, inducing her evolution.
"Metapod, the Cocoon Pokemon, and the evolved form of Caterpie. A steel-hard shell protects its tender body. It quietly endures hardships while awaiting evolution. This Pokémon is vulnerable to attack while its shell is soft, exposing its weak and tender body." Totodile continued with his scratch.
"Harden!" Liam called. Totodile hurt itself and Trevor lost the battle. Liam praised Metapod for the evolution.
