The poison finished Hydro off. Liam sent Vaporeon back out. "Shadow Ball!"
"Dragon Pulse!" Liam called.
Blastoffs took the hit. After the poison he was worn out. "One last Dragon Pulse!"
Hydro was poisoned. Liam knew it wouldn't be long until Hydro was out. "Dragon Pulse!" Liam called.
The blizzard hit a copy of made it vanish. "Now Baton Pass!" Liam called. All of the copies vanished as Vaporeon flew with an aura. The aura manifested itself as a baton and Vaporeon returned to his ball. Hydro reemerged and grabbed the baton. The same number of remain copies appeared, but of Hydro in his Mega form.
"Double Team as well!" Liam called.
"Acid Armor!" Liam called. Vaporeon melted into a puddle and cushioned the blow of the attack.
Vaporeon took the hit.
"Ice Beam!" Liam called. Liam's hope was that with being soaked, the odds of Wani being frozen would go up. A theory, that is scientifically sound at least.
Shrianui's tactic caused Hydro himself to be the one that got confused. It also boosted his physical attack, which did little good for Liam's strategy. As much as he hated to do so, he recalled Hydro, which nulled the confusion and sent Vaporeon back out.
"Nice." Liam replied. "Water Pulse, now!" Liam called. He hoped the attack would confuse the opponent, in addition to the slightly increased damage.
