Once Liam felt he was ready, he returned to the Pokémon Center as well. He saw Shiranui there. "Ready to earn a new badge?" he inquired.

Gallade stepped forward and telepathically spoke to Khuda and her Ralts. "If you two don't mind, I'd like to help you with a move that Ralts may be able to put to good use." Gallade's eye began to glow a light blue. Grass emerged from the rock and knotted itself. "This is Grass Knot. The heavier a Pokémon is, the more damage they will take." Gallade then telepathically explained details on it to the Ralts.

"Very well," Gallade replied. He stood by and waited for it to be over.

Gallade came upon the situation. Now that he was seeing what was going on, he was able to quickly figure out what was going on with the huge spike in psychic energy. He turned to see Shiranui had followed.
"Mr. Shiranui," Gallade communicated via telepathy. "It looks as though Titania has had to resort to extreme measures in trying to resolve the issue with that little Ralts. I do not know if I should intervene, or just leave it to her."

Gallade sensed the spike in psychic activity. He excused himself from his trainer's side to investigate, having recognized said psychic energy as Titania's.
