The Heavy Ball pinged shut as well. Liam noticed that Rayquaza had flown away, likely back to its perch. He also noticed that the poacher had managed to get back to his feet and was trying to sneak away. "Gallade! stop him!" Gallade used Confusion and immobilized the man.
"I think Officer Jenny would be interested in a poacher like you." Liam said.

Gallade used Psychic to grab Liam and pull him off Rayquaza. Jiriya ran down Rayquaza at a high speed and slashed Kyogre with a Night Slash as Rayquaza became enveloped in a familiar light and changed form.
"Rayquaza can Mega Evolve?!" Liam said bewildered. As soon as Rayquaza Mega Evolved, the erratic weather seized. Kyogre and Groudon returned to their normal states. Liam realized that if they were going to try and catch those two, now might be a good chance to do so. While rushing, Liam grabbed the first ball he grabbed in his pack and tossed it at Groudon. It was a Heavy Ball form Kurt. Groudon was sucked in and the ball began to shake.

Kyogre was hurt by the attack. Rayquaza arrived on the scene.

Meanwhile, Pidgeot was flying at full force following the directions Liam gave. Liam pointed out to a giant tower. Liam made it to the tower. Pidgeot landed and the base of the tower tired. Liam thanked the bird and told it to rest. Liam hurried up the tower. At the top he found that his plan could work. Here was Rayquaza.
"Rayquaza!" Liam called. The Sky High Pokémon was still sleeping. Liam thinking quickly played the Pokéflute. Rayquaza woke up and realized the weather was erratic. He also noticed Liam there. "Please Rayquaza, Groudon and Kyogre have been awoken by a pair of eco-terrorist morons. My friend and some of our Pokémon are trying to keep them busy, but I don't know how long they will last." Rayquaza roared as he noticed a rocket flying toward him and Liam. Rayquaza reached out and shoved Liam aside. The Rocket opened up into a trap that put Rayquaza into a cube. A Poacher came up from beneath a half broken pillar and celebrated catching a legendary.
"The world is literally going to pieces and you're trying to capture and sell the Pokémon that is supposed to fix it?!" Liam yelled. "Jiriya!" The Greninja appeared. "Get the remote to the trap!" He sent out a Vigoroth. The Greninja used Power Up Punch and KO'd the opposing Pokémon. In a fluid movement, he also got the remote and freed the Sky High Pokémon. Rayquaza grabbed the poacher in its hand and held him tight. Rayquaza motioned for Liam and Jiriya to get on its back. Once that was done, Rayquaza took off.

Eventually, they made it to a big room. They saw Archie standing in the room with the Blue Orb. He saw the duo and began laughing an evil laugh. "Perfect! You're just as great as any young heroes trying to save the world should be. But it changes nothing. I can't give up now, I can't! I WILL use the power of the Blue Orb to awaken Kyogre at last! Then I will return this world to its original, pure state!! Now AWAKEN KYOGRE! RETURN EVERYTHING TO THE WAY IT WAS!"
Shelly ran up and egan to beg Archie to stop, so tried to tell him that his idealized world is not the one Kyogre would make. Archie refused to listen to her. Archie held up the orb, which began to glow. Kyogre's greyed out body came to life and its true color returned. It roared and dive under water to escape the cave. Archie began to celebrate his victory. Archie heard on his com piece that the rain was more than they expected. Shelly told him and the heroes to come look.
Once outside, Archie was shocked. "No, this isn't what I wanted, this isn't what I expected."
"What were you expecting? a parade of water types in your honor grand marshaled by Manaphy?" Liam said with angry sarcasm. It was than that the excessively heavy rain became an intense drought. In the distance, Liam saw both Groudon and Kyogre feudueding with one another, but neither one looked like the Pokédex, or the history books said they did.
"I have an idea on how to stop this." Liam said. He called out Gallade and Pikachu. He told them to stay here and help Shiranui keep those two distracted, an to be careful. Liam than for good measure, Mega Evolved Gallade. Liam than got on Pidgeot and flew off to execute his plan.

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that, although I have a felling it will..." Liam added before running down the hall to try and stop Archie.

"Odds are it is the latter, so let's hurry." Liam said. "By the way, I found these in the cave near Lillycove." He tossed one of the Master Balls to Shiranui.

Liam hurried inside it and surfaced. He got on the shore and removed the helmet. "Now which way do we go?" He thought aloud.

Liam saw a Luvdisc had gotten itself tangled in some seaweed. He quickly detoured over and freed it. He than swam back to Shiranui and continued the path.
