In the distance, Liam saw two figures in the distance, but there wasn't enough light for Liam to discern who it was ahead.

Smaug was not happy about his personal thoughts being invaded. He decided to simply light the way as Liam had asked.
"I don't trust humans. This one that caught me seems to be nice, but foolish." Smaug replied in his mind. The part that Smaug wouldn't tell Titania was that he remembers his mom was held by a poacher. She distracted the poacher so he could get away. He heard a loud crack, followed by his mother roaring in pain, followed by a thud. Since that he had encountered four cruel humans. He than decided to set up a home here and tried to keep himself from being hurt.
"Well, we'll get there." Liam said. Smaug was standing there waiting while the humans conversed.
"Well, the more I see of Smaug, the more I think that he has had a troubled past." Liam said. "While it doesn't make how he's acting alright, it make it understandable as to why he does act that way."
Smaug noticed that Liam had jumped in to protect him. The Charmander started to respect Liam a little. "Are you alright Smaug?" Liam asked. "Char" Smaug said curtly.
There was a frightened cry of "Charr!" In the distance. Liam found that Smaug was being attacked by a swarm of Zubat. Liam lunged into the swarm, and began to swat them away.
Liam sighed. "Smaug return" The Charmander side stepped the beam. He than turned around and pulled on the bottom of his right eye and stuck his tongue out at the heroes. He ran off further into the cave. Liam decided to run after him, now using a flash light.
The heroes ventured into Mt. Moon. It was dark inside. Liam decided to have Smaug light the way. Smaug turned his nose up to the notion.
"Shall we move on?" Liam asked.
