Liam was psyched for the next round. He firmly grasped Hydro's ball inside the capsule he used earlier and was ready to take his mark on stage.
"Now, it's time for the final round! A matchup we have seen many times before, between two equally talented young men. 'Dragon Master' Liam Coleman and 'Sea Hero' Shiranui Tsukiko!" Vivian called. Once both partipents were in position, and the cheers died down, she called out "Begin!"

"Hydro, it's time to shine!" The ball produced a swarm of bubbles that took Hydro's form. Hydro readied his water cannons for the battle.

It was time for Liam and Harley to face off. Both of them recived plenty of appluse when they walked on stage.
"Begin!"
"Hydro, It's time to shine!" Liam called.
"Cacturne, come on out darling!" Harley exclaimed.
"Cacturne, Needle Arm!" Harley ordered, The Cacturne leapt into the air and did a summersault before crashing down on Hydro with the points extended. This move connected and Liam lost a few points. "Rain Dance!" Liam called. A downpour overtook the stage when Hydro made some graceful moves.
Cacturne was ordered to use Sandstorm and the rain was replaced.
(sandstorm 1, [Liam loses a few points with every hit of the sandstorm])
Cacturne was again ordered to use Needle Arm. Liam called for Withdrawl, which made Cacturne hurt his hand on Hydro's shell, making Harley lose points instead of Liam.

"Spikes." Harley ordered. Spikes conjured and Cacturne began tossing them directly at Hydro, each one knocked a few points off Liam's total.
"Rapid Spin!" Liam called. Hydro began spinning, picking up the sand and the spikes, making a tornado. He crashed into Cacturne, dealing a good amount of damage, and since he made Harley's own spikes propel into the Cacturne that spawned them, Harley lost a good sized chunk of points as the clock said 1:00.

Cacturne attempted to use Ingrain, Liam used this time to fire Ice Beam and hit Cacturne, freezing it solid. Harley lost his remaining points and Liam was declared the winner. Harley recalled Cacturne and walked off stage fuming at the humiliation of his own Spikes being used aginst him.

Ryder walked into his bedroom and slammed the door shut and locked it. His life was over after what happened today. It was only a matter of time before today's events reached their ugly head. Something unusual happened with his computer today however. When he entered his bedroom, the computer's monitor turned itself on. Ryder did not immedeatly realize this at first however. It wasn't until he heard a whinening sound that he turned to face his computer. The sound grew louder and louder, in spite of the fact that he muted the speakers. He came over to sit down at his laptop to see if he could figure out what was wrong with it. The blank screen began to glow white, and Ryder felt as if he was being pulled into it, and lost consciousness.

"Co-oordinator number 5 is a vetran to the Kanto Contest Circuit. From Slateport City, Hoenn give a welcome to Harley!" Lillian annouced as a young man with long dark colored hair walked on stage in a Cacturne based outfit.
"Ariados, come on out darling." Harley said tossing out a Pokéball. The spider emereged and took a stance.
"Spider Web!" Ariados covered the stage with its webs. Harley then chucked a watermelon toward his pokémon, calling for String Shot. This made the fruit appear to be a victim caught in the spider's web. "Now, Swords Dance into Poison Jab1" Harley ordered, One of Ariados' legs sharpened and began to glow a bright purple as it jabbed into the cacooned melon. "Now, Pin Missile!" Many spikes shot into the lump, making it explode and a fine mist of red sprayed over the stage. Harley and Ariados took a bow.

"Judges, what did you think of that appeal?"
"Your Ariados did an amazing job of spinning web on out stage, and made it look as though we were visiting its nest."
"Ariados is remarkable!"
"Your Ariados is very nimble, and very strong, you must have put a lot of love and effort into raising it."

"Hello, and welcome to the Cedar Town Pokémon Contest!" Lillian annouced. "I'm your host, Lillian Merdian! These coordinaters are competeing for this beautiful Cedar Ribbon." She explained as she held up the ribbon whose non-metalic part was a wood color. "Now, allow me to introduce today's judges. First, the president of the Pokémon Contest Commitee,Mr. Raoul Contesta!"
"Greetings everyone, I'm glad to be here in Cear Town." Contesta said, which was met with cheering from the audience.
"The President of the Pokémon Fan Club Committe,Mr. Sukizo!"
"Cedar Town is remarkable!" Sukizo said using his catchphrase, which recieved cheers and applause.
"And last, but not least, Cedar Town's very own,Nurse Joy!"
"I'm happy to be here to judge the contest. Let's all have a nice time." Joy said with a warm smile. Her comment was also meet with cheers and applause.
"Now, let's begin with our first contestant, Johto Leauge Champion, 'Dragon Master' Liam Coleman!" Lillian called as Liam ran on stage. "Jiriya! It's time to shine!" Liam called. Smoke poured out of the ball and took the form of Liam's Greninja.
"Jiriya, Double Team!" multiple copies appeared. "Now, Smokescreen and Water Shuriken!" The Greninjas each put hand up to his mouth and blew smoke out. The Water Shurkiens shoot through the smoke, turning almost a metallic grey, making them look like real shurikens. Liam called for a Night Slash, which shattered the blades, making a light rainfall on the stage.

"Judges, what do you think?"
"As always Champion Coleman, You show great skill and power in your well trained Pokémon."
"Greninja is remarkable!"
"I have heard stories about your Greninja from my sisters, I'm happy to have gotten to see his power first hand."
