Liam and Goodra managed to best the opposing Bellossom. Once that battle was done, and Goodra was rested up as well as Zerina the Charizard, it was time for the final round. Liam took his position.

Liam tossed out his ball. A sea of bubbles issued from it and took the form on Goodra. Goodra waved to the audience when they appluded him.
"Blaziken! Take the stage!" May called. May's starter Pokémon appeared on the stage

"Blaziken, do a Blaze Kick barrage!" May called. Her Blaziken did a footwork combo, but found himself slowing down, to May's surprise. Lillian commented that this was due to Goodra's ability Gooey, which slows down a Pokémon who makes physical contact with it. May lost a few points.
May than told Blaziken to use Flamethrower.
"Rain Dance!" Liam called. The sudden downpour extinquished the flames, and put May at a disadvantage, lowering her points more. May called for Dual Chop, which Liam did not expect. Blaziken may have lost more speed, but Goodra was hit very hard, causing Liam to lose a slightly larger armount of points than May had lost since the contest began.
"Aqua Tail!" Liam called. Goodra ran up, splashing in puddles on the way and leapt into the air. His tail began to glow an aquamarine color and he smackec Blaziken with his tail, doing signifcant damage. Blaziken used Flamethrower, but Goodra propelled himself away with Dragon Pulse. The time was down to less than a minute and the rain stopped. May caused for Agility into Sky Uppercut. Blazieken began to speed up and use the momentum to increse the strength behind the blow. This combo took more points from Liam.
"Fire Punch!" May called.
"Thunder Punch!" Liam replied. Both Pokémon charged forward and smacked the other with the specfied elemental punch. The time was up, and Liam still had more points (though not by much) and advanced. Goodra hugged Blaziken, hugged May, and than hugged Liam, leaving all three with a thin layer of slime on their bodies.

The next round was A Bellossom and a Mr. Mime, the former of whom advanced.

(Do note that I a skipping numbers to post Liam and the Named trainers' appeals. You guys are more than welcome to use a number I skipped).

"Welcome to the Fuschia City Contest!" Lillian said. "I'm your hostess, Lillian Mirridan! Our talented co-ordinators will be trying to win the Fuschia Ribbon!" Lillian held up the ribbon, which has a pink cloth attached to the medal. "Now, allow me to introduce our lovely judges. The head of the Pokémon Contest Commite, Mr. Raoul Contesta!"
"It is such a lovely day today, it is a perfect day to have a contest." Contesta stated. He was met with appluse before Lillian continued.
"The Head of the Pokémon Fan Club,Mr. Sukizo!"
"Fuschia City is remarkable!" Sukizo said, which was also met with applause.
"And last, but not least, Fuschia's own,Nurse Joy!"
"I just want everyone to remember that first and foremost, we are all here to have fun." Joy said with the smile her family's trademark smile.
"With all of that out of way, let's begin with co-ordnator #1, May from Petalburg City in Hoenn!" The fan favorite received a huge amount of appluse at the mention of her name. May used Munchlax and pulled off an appeal that involved bursting Solarbeam with a Focus Punch and using Metronome (which came out as Ice Beam) as a finisher.

"It is always nice to see your Munchlax May, it is quite talented."
"Munchlax is remarkable!"
"Your Munchlax is adoreable, and I can tell by its coat that it is very well taken care of."

Liam was Coordinator #5. He used his Ninjask, whose swift movements allowed him to appear as though there were ten of him on the stage used Shadow Ball and Solarbeam made a small firework show.
"I have to say, I haven't seen many Ninjask that are as speedy as yours Liam."
"Ninjask is remarkable!"
"Ninjask has been well trained in manners of outspeeding opponnets."

Co-ordinator # 19 was none other than, Pike Queen Lucy. Lucy used Milotic and made a dazzling appeal with Twister, Water Gun, and Ice Beam

"Your Milotic is well taken care of, its no wonder you are said to be one of the strongest trainers in Kanto."

Liam made an adjustment to his team and registered for the contest. He decided to let Smaug stay here and spend some time with his mother. Liam changed into his contest costume and sat down in the waiting room and was polishing the ball for his first Pokémon before placing it in a Ball Capsule.

Smaug nodded. Joy sad that she would make a few calls to get it set up and walked to the back.

A few minutes later, Smaug returned from the backroom. He wasn't happy about what was going to happen, but he knew it was for the best.

Liam felt bad for Smaug, and his mother.
