Smaug roared in pain at this. He freed his head and used Fire Blast at point blank in an attempt to get Zenni off of him.
The two attacks met in a stalemate.

"Ok, Play time's over." Liam said. He didn't want to use his ace this quickly into Smaug's battle, but felt he had no other choice. Not without taking unneeded risks at least. He activated the Megastone and made Charizard Mega evolve to Mega Charizard Y, causing intense sunlight to rain on the stadium, despite the late hour.
