Outside the Pokémon Center there was a gust of wind as something wooshed by the heroes. It was a primarily yellow figure, one that Liam recognized from his dream. He pulled out his Pokédex
"Tapu Koko, the Land Spirit Pokémon. An Electric and Fairy type. Although it’s called a guardian deity, if a person or Pokémon puts it in a bad mood, it will become a malevolent deity and attack. The lightning-wielding guardian deity of Melemele, Tapu Koko is brimming with curiosity and appears before people from time to time."
"This is like the dream I had." Liam thought aloud. "So that means.." He tossed Dragonite's ball into the air and the dragon emerged. Liam got on his back. "Want to race Tapu Koko?" Liam asked. It nodded in approval and took a stance to be ready. "Once around the island?" Liam asked. Tapu Koko agreed.
"3....2.....1.....GO!" Liam called. On go Tapu Koko and Dragonite both took off and the race began. The race happened more or less just as it did in his dream, the primary difference being that the race was happenning in the morning, while the dream race as night. Once Dragonite was about to the finish line and Koko was nowhere in sight, Liam called out for Dragonite to use Agility. Dragonite was close to the finish line and flying close to the ground. Liam got ready and leapt from Dragonite and made it across the finish line as Tapu Koko appeared in front of Dragonite. Tapu was surprised that Liam wasn't there and turned around to see Liam standing at the figurative finish line. Tapu Koko zoomed up infront of Liam and tossed him a Z-ring that had a light blue Z-stone installed. Liam thanked Tapu Koko, who than promptly vanished.

"Chuck?" Joy asked. She than went on to describe him.
"That's him." Liam said.
"I believe he said something about going to fight the Totem." Joy said.
"That's him." Liam said.

"This is going to be fun." Liam said. Dragonite was psychicing himself up. Liam didn't have the heart to tell him that he was likely going to be sitting this one out. Dragonite had come back to the party and was itching to have a battle against a stronger trainer.
Robin was sitting on the table next to Liam sleeping while Dragonite was sitting nearby eating. Jangmo-o was on the floor eating out of a bowl nearby. Moony happily ran into the room to greet everyone.
