"It's quite peaceful here," Liam said thinking aloud. He fought a few trainers, training up his Alolan captures. Afterward, he went to let them recover at the Pokémon Center.

Kudamon has become exhausted and floated back to Axel, who caught him in his arms. “You did well Kudamon. For now, we need to hide.” With that, Axel got to a safe spot. He ultimately decided that it might be best to hide somewhere that one of the others could quickly get over there to protect them if needed. Once they were hidden, Axel gave Kudamon some candy he had. Kudamon might not particularly like candy, but he needed his energy back and the energy he’d get from candy was better than nothing.
Liam got some training in for his Pokémon on the trip to town.
"Sounds like a plan," Liam commented while petting one of the wild Pikachu.
"Holy Shot!" Kudamon fired his attack, splitting the wave like a biblical allegory right before it his Supiromon. "Attack now!" Kudamon called out exhausted. He had fought hard in this battle. But he would not have the energy to continue at this point. Kudamon was thinking that if only he could digivolve, he could be of better help.
Soon after, Jenny came riding up in a cycle with Robin in the sidecar. A paddy wagon followed behind her to haul the culprits away in. Jenny ran up to take the remaining criminals away. Robin flew back over to Liam, who praised him for doing a good job.
Liam confronted one poacher who called out a Salamance.
"Liam performed the Z-move using the Dragnium Z that Tapu Koko had given him.
"Devastating Drake!" Liam called as the lavender colored energy took a draconic form and zoomed across the area, smacking into the Salamance, one shotting it. The Poacher recalled his KO'd dragon and, while confident that he had won this time around sent out a Mawhile.
"Flamethrower!" Liam called. The fire attack from the Champion's Dragonite left the Mawhile with a bad burn. Mawhile used Ice Fang, only to be smacked away with Iron Tail. She went flying and landed near her trainer. A colony* of Pikachu dashed forward with electricity ready to fire. Liam called out for a Thunderbolt and Dragonite launched it in unison with the Pikachu. Mawhile received a bad shock and was KO'd. Liam called out Moony to help keep the poacher from escaping. He sent Robin to get Officer Jenny from a nearby town.
"It's over," Liam said. "I was hoping I could relax while exploring Alola and not deal with scum like you. To commit such crimes and to use dragons to accomplish them? As a Dragon Master, I can't abide by such villainous actions."

Kudamon was ready to jump in and fire off another Holy Shot into the attacking Digimon. But that would be the last attack he currently had the energy for. He would have to retreat to rest after firing it, so he was waiting for the right time to fire it. He watched as Supiromon grappled with the whale-like Digimon, and would wait for his signal to attack.
