After Goodra hugged Jen, he returned back to his trainer's side.
Goodra had a perplexed look on his face. Goodra wanted to come, he didn't realize that Liam needed him for something.
Goodra gave Shiranui a thumbs up in answer to the question.
When the heroes got to a Pokémon Center, Liam got his Pokémon healed. He then sent Smaug back to Oak's Lab, only to have a lonely Goodra shove his way in front of the screen with a lonely look on his face. Liam had Oak send him Goodra back, which made the dragon very happy. Liam returned to his friends, and before he could say anything, Goodra popped out of his ball and proceeded to try and hug Liam and his friends.
"Well, let's get moving then," Liam said.
"I'd love to see the Battle Royale Dome," Liam said. "But we need to stop at The Pokémon Center first."
I missed the KH3 bit
They have talked about Smash in E3. Every playable character is back, along with the Inkling, and 2 other confirmed newcomers:

Axel pushed aside his cowardice and stood there alongside the other digidestined, ready to defend the city.
