I have Liam's team for this down to two options:
Option 2 would be to swap Dragonite in for Jiriya, Smaug, or Hakamo-o. Goodra is coming in b/c he's essentially Liam's signature Pokémon, Sylveon is coming in to be a counter to the dragons that Liam will likely face, and Blissey is being brought in to help give any first aid needed.
Jiriya was initially picked as being one of Liam's powerhouses, and having Protean is always useful, Smaug's pros and cons are mentioned in the discussion between Liam and Saisei, and Hakamo-o isn't fully evolved yet. Any suggestions to help me with this last decision?

Liam was clearly enraged at this, but doing his best to keep his anger in check. He was ready to call Oak and bring in Pokémon more suited to this situation. "Oh, I think I've got a good team to take this this guy down."
"That is something we need to be sure that we are good at."
"Yes, it would be a bad idea to send Smaug into the battle, but he could be a good counselor to any Pokémon that have been abused," Liam replied in his mind to Saisei. "At the very least, I should be ready to call him in from the lab to help traumatized Pokémon."
"Yeah, let's get back to our training,"Axel proposed.
"Thanks," Axel replied.
"It's weird, sometimes they are at each other's throats, sometimes they can't keep their hands off of each other," Axel explained. "We got kicked out of a showing of Crash Nebula on Ice because they were flirting with one another, and becoming increasingly more conspicuous about it."
