Didn't ark Souls pull the name from mythology?
When we saw the female pc make her Pokémon grow, I got Power Rangers vibes. In my personal headcanon, the female PC's name is Rita. (I'd laugh so hard if it turns out to be correct)
Also, I'm excited to see the champ using Charizard. I'd love to have a battle with him when we go to Galar, his Chaizard vs Smaug. and thirdly: I wish to make my official prediction for the gym types. Not necessarily in this order: fire, grass, water, rock, ground, dark, dragon, and fairy. My reasoning on this being simple:

- Other than Fairy and Dark, every type has at least two gyms. Dark has none so I think it is in bigger need of one.
- The starter types each have two gyms and share one. So If grass gets one, I think the others should too keep it even
- Dragon is one of the few types to have two, but not three gyms and since Galar is obviously England it would make sense to have a dragon-themed gym
- Rock and Ground are actually arbitrarily chosen. I could see maybe Steel replacing one of them.
What did everyone think of the Direct?
Liam pondered what the poachers could be thinking as well.
"Agreed," Liam said. He remembered the Maribella had made that comment about having taken the legendaries from their regions. He silently chuckled to himself as they must have missed the fact that he has left two free roaming in their home region to be caled on if he needs them.
"You know I'm ready," Liam says recalling his Pokémon.
"Than let's get to the Seafolk Village and hammer out our plan. I just hope the poachers don't do too much damage in the meantime.
"Well, if Cosmo sparkles when it comes out, we'll know it is," Liam stated. "But, this may not be the best time to check for such things."
"It truly is surprising," Liam commented.
