It took Joy a bit longer than normal since Liam and Chuck brought a bunch of wild Pokémon with them. But she found that the wild ones were all in good health and let the ones native to the island go, as well as the ones for other islands who could fly or swim back. She made arrangements to get the others home. Once she was done, she got the other Pokémon healed up. Liam got his healed up and made an adjustment for the final trials. "So, we have dragon, fairy, and what else left?"

Sherlock teleported the duo to the Poni Island Pokémon Center along with any of the captive Pokémon that needed medical attention.
Liam inspected the egg and found that it was fine. "Well, we should get back to the Pokémon Center."
A feeling of dread fell over Liam. He wondered how they learned of his lineage to Nurse Joy, as it was not something publicly known. Liam was also glad that Chuck made it out with the egg and asked to see it so he could see if it still seemed alright.
Liam felt the Ice Stone still sitting in his pocket. He felt that it might still be important to save as he helped a cage full of Yungoose escape. He looked back and found that there was only one cage of Pokemon left, and the egg that Chuck went to retrieve. Liam opened the cage holding a trio of Alolan Meowth and told them to run outside.
"I do not know as of yet, I am on standby until our next steps are decided."

TBF, Liam has a bad case of protagonist syndrome. :p they'll be fine.
