It was not looking good for Slushie. "Now, Ice Ball!" Liam ordered for the Ice-Type Rollout, that wa salso buffed if Defense Curl was used immedeately before it. Since Cinderace turned itself into a pure flying-type with Bounce it would make the move Super Effective.

"Defense Curl!" Liam called. Slushie curled up to increase its defense to help lessen the blow of the incoming attack.
"Drill Run!" Liam called. Slushie was hit by the x4 attack but pulled through. It then used the Ground-type that has an increased chance of Critical Hits.

Liam was deciding who he would use as well. He only got one Pokémon for the match. Goodra is one of his strongest Pokémon, but Goodra would also probably be expected. He remembered that his opponent had used Greninja and Salazale during the tournament, but would she be using one them, or another?
Ash and Pikachu were disheartened by the defeat, but Ash still praised Incenaroar for the good effort. The quietly exited the arena.
