Liam had one specific Pokemon he was looking for. He had to find it on the way to Celedon, he just had to. While he waited for his Pokemon to heal he looked around the center. He could tell which people lived in town, since they all, like Joy were slightly paler then humans normally are and gloomy looking. He quietly asked Shiranui if he thought maybe this town's water supply had been laced with depressants. Liam also said that he had seen more lively people at a funeral, which sounds like a joke, but Liam's tone implies he is being serious.
Liam entered the Pokemon Center to heal up his Pokemon, this was a necessary stop, but he still wanted to get out of Lavender fast. He noticed that this town's Joy was of a slightly paler complexion and a little gloomy. Liam thought to himself: "Well, dad did tell me she's the 'Black Marrep' of the family, so did mom."
Liam proposed they try to push on to Celadon, Something about this town gave him the creeps
"Yes, it is." Liam replied.
After a lot of walking, the heroes finally reached the end of the tunnel.
"Yup, that would be the problem." Liam replied. He stated it was something his mom taught him when he was a kid.
"Nice catch Shiranui." Liam commented.
Liam continued the training in the cave
Liam trained all six of the pokemon he had on him, against the Geodude and the Onix.
"Well, maybe if you go it alone, but since we three are going together it shouldn't be too bad."
