Current Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've just... been struggling to get the energy to write something up. I'm trying some new meds through so hopefully that will change soon.

-----------------------------------------------I was thinking that way too actually. It makes sense especially when you bring up the idea of them having maybe worked together in the past. I'd imagine after Henry's work caused too much attention and was stopped by the Empire's authorities, that Nomis would have been the most likely person to receive Henry's entire work.

I doubt it. What Henry couldn't take with him, he destroyed. But if you kept some notes from the good old days, that's fine.
I do believe that it is completely possible that Nomis would know about Doctor Leroy, if only because of the nature of Henry's research causing a bit of a stir before the Empire stepped in to shut it down.

In fact... It's completely possible for the two of them to have collaborated at some point in the past in order to further their own agendas; Nomis to work out how Taint worked and Henry to have items to test his concoctions on.
Some distance away from the Imperial Storehouse of Hollow Bastion and the armed response that was no doubt on route to it due to the chaos that was underway, a woman stood under a street lamp. By the standards of Hollow Bastion she was quite a good looking woman but for those that didn't have to spend their life living in a gutter with no hope of ever escaping it, it was clear that the woman was tired and hagged from her profession and living conditions. Her choice of outfit and the way that she stood was less to find a 'Mr Right' and more to find a 'Mr Right Amount'.

Said woman had been touching up her make up after a busy session with a client when the light she had been using died on her. Glancing up to glare at the latest sign that the Empire didn't even care enough about their world to keep the lights working only to freeze at the inhuman yellow gaze in the darkness that stared back from its position on top of the street lamp. Taking a step backwards, the woman froze as she bumped into something... something that was breathing very heavily. Turning around with a swing born of fear, things happened almost to quickly to follow. A hand like iron grasped her wrist, breaking it as a fist like a sludge hammer planted itself into her stomach hard, knocking the air out of her and causing her to double over. The fist to the stomach quickly changed to a vice grip wrapped around her neck, lifting her off the group and slamming her back into the now lightless street lamp.

Just another statistic of Hollow Bastion's night that no one would really care about.

Edward licked his lips as he took a moment to fix up his jacket and make sure his pants were buttoned up.

All in all it had been a rather pleasurable experience, if a little lackluster. Sure it had been fun and he would do it again in a heartbeat, but he had clearly over hyped it in his head a fair bit. Turning towards the nearest creature of darkness, Edward simply said in a voice of one who couldn't care less "She's all yours. Have fun." as he walked away, leaving the broken and bleeding body for the living shadows of the Heartless to do what they pleased to her.

It was only when he was quite a far distance away from the scene when he ducked into an alleyway at random and changed. A thug that had been hiding in said alleyway, waiting for someone to ambush ran out into the street and continued running into the night in sheer terror at the sheer wrongness of what he had witnessed, never speaking a word about it to anyone for the rest of his life for fear of being considered insane.

..................................................................................................

The first thing that Henry did was throw up in the alleyway he found himself standing in.

Once that was over with, shaking and using a wall for support, he mattered seemingly to himself "Never again."

The voice that answered him came out of his own mouth, but it was quite clearly the voice of the being that had walked into the alleyway before and not the one of the man standing there now. There was a humored mocking tone as it answered "You see, I would be more inclined to believe you if you hadn't said that the last time. Or the time before that. In fact, you've broken that vow so many times that I'm surprised that anyone can still consider you a man of your word since its clearly worth less then dirt, Leroy."

"Shut up and leave me be Andormu." Henry bit back, his shaking slowly subsiding as he forced himself back to his own two feet. He needed to get back to base before everyone else made it there to make sure that he was ready to treat any injuries from tonight's raid. "You're a damn monster and I await the day that I will end you."

" Oh Leroy, that hurts. Not as much as the woman but it hurts." Edward replied, his tone and follow up chuckle showing just how much he cared about empty promises. "You can bark all you want but from the lack of progress you've been making..."

"SHUT UP!" Henry screamed, cutting his darker half off before it could continue onwards. Tonight was already going to be long enough as it was...
A little bit of editing and done.

And thank you. I was going for a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde vibe. It's going to get... interesting fairly quickly.
Name: Henry Leroy
Age: 32
Gender: Male

Personality: Doctor Henry Leroy was a highly respectable up and coming man of science on his home world seven years ago, a practitioner of of metaphysical science who was well liked by the members his home worlds society for being a morally upstanding and decent citizen who often engaged in charity work. Despite enjoying a reputation as a courteous and genial man Doctor Leroy was often haunted by dark impulses and desires that would threaten to destroy his reputation to scandal if he was ever to be caught indulging them. While his own personal motivation for doing so was kept a closely guarded secret, he was not shy about his life's work to discover a way to purge the darkness from ones heart and soul.

After the destruction of his homeworld by the dark forces of the Empire, Doctor Leroy still makes a show of being a kind and upstanding man despite everything but it is clear to those who speak to him that the good doctor is little more then a shadow of his former self, haunted by demons unknown.

Appearance: Dr Leroy appears as a man in his prime. Pale skinned, brown eyed and with short black hair, Henry Leroy often appears as a gentleman of high society that needs to appear as well kept as possible no matter the situation. While he is almost never seen without wearing some kind of high class suit, the state of disrepair and clearly poor patchwork that has gone into maintaining them reflects the hard times he has fallen on.

Faction: Unbound Hearts.

Weapon: Dr Leroy does not wield a keyblade, instead preferring his rapier.

Dr Leroy is also prone to throwing various chemical concoctions around to various effects in battle, depending on the situation and what he has prepared beforehand for the occasion.

Powers/Abilities:

Skilled duelist: Henry's rapier might not be a keyblade, but few people have ever gone into a one on one battle with Henry and lived to tell the tale. Believing in swordplay and skill over raw power, Henry prefers to strike hard and fast to kill or cripple his opponent (Often times when they try to launch an overextended swing at him).

Master of Alchemy and Metaphysical Science: Dr Leroy earned a name and reputation for himself as a man to watch in the field of metaphysical science, his goal of finding a way to purify the heart and soul of darkness the subject of much praise and intrigue back before the Empire consumed and destroyed his homeworld. Given enough time, resources and experimentation, he can produce a concoction to do just about anything.

Water Mage: Very few living people know about the fact that Henry Leroy appears to have a natural talent at using water magics. He intentionally keeps it secret these days in order to give himself a trump card if the situation calls for it on the grounds that the enemy can't counter something that they don't know is there.

The Dark Side of Me: By taking a certain concoction (Or sometimes at complete random) Henry Leroy's body can shift into a new, dangerous form that was created due to a failed attempt to purge himself of darkness. This form goes by the name Edward Andormu. The fact that Edward is a part of himself and he transforms into him is a secret that Henry would never betray willingly.

Bio: Henry was forced to abandon his home world due to the newly established Empire assaulting it, destroying it completely in the process in an attempt to ensure that Henry's research into purging darkness from the heart and soul was brought to a halt and completely destroyed. Joining the Unbound Hearts out of a need to survive and to continue his research Dr Leroy rarely takes place in the group's activities, instead often supplying them with the concoctions they need to get the job done or medical attention when required.
Go ahead. Magus doesn't mind.
Just for the record, just because the undead are enraged at Comet Trail doesn't mean that he personally played a hoof in their deaths.

He is wearing a Stormwing uniform through. While House Moon and Star gave the order for Ponyville's death, Stormwing were the ones to carry the order out. Hatred dies hard.
At the sound of the charging stormwing pony, the five undead archers turned towards the source of the noise. Despite having the advantage of numbers, the element of surprise had clearly tilted the 'battle' in Comet Trail's favor. The fact that all five of them were wielding ranged weapons of somewhat decayed quality in melee range against a foe that was much better equipped and trained for melee combat only hastened their demise, their sluggish attempts to fight back amounting to nothing as they were cut down in quick succession.

The Stormwing solder would find a few seconds of peace before the cloudy water of the lake would churn and shift as more of the restless dead of Ponyville rose from their watery grave. There were six of them this time, with only two of them wielding the water damaged bows of their earlier counterparts. Of the remaining four, two of them seemed to be carrying knives that had quite clearly been completely over come with rust over the years. A third also wielded a knife, but its knife was carried in its mouth, more or less fused to the exposed bones of its wielder by the rust that had consumed the iron. The last walking corpse didn't so much walk as hobble along, it's front right leg missing for reasons unknown, a rotting and rust covered farmers hoe held between its neck and the shoulder of the remaining leg.

All six of them focused on Comet Trail with an eyeless glare, the smiles they bore as they exited the water vanishing into snarls as they discovered one of the Celestia damned winged monsters who had played a role in the deaths of themselves and their beloved town. Vengeance would be had!

They surged forwards.

..................................................................................

The two undead turned towards the sound of the water rippling for barely a moment in order to see what had caused the disturbance before returning to their task of priming their bows for battle. They had more important things to focus on at the moment then to question the noise to deeply.

.................................................................................

Torrential held the black gaze of the jester mare before him, his body tense enough to respond to any sudden tricks that the creature could pull as the sky darkened with clouds. The giggling ghosts that swarmed overhead seemed to keep to themselves for the time being, waiting for their mistress to ask them to join the battle that was clearly about to take place. Still, when Torrential spoke his words were loud and clear enough to be heard over the giggling din.

"Who are you?"

"I am known by many names. Many ponies would call me the Laughing Mare." The mare answered with a grin and a mareish giggle, as if she had just been told a side splitting joke that amused her to no end. " However, you can call me your DEATH! As if given their cue, the ghosts suddenly went from being an amused audience to a violent mob rushing the stage with full intent of taking a bite out of some of the actors on it, swarming towards the unmoving Torrential like an enrage cloud of wasps. The mare herself however didn't watch as her minions moved to attack, her attention turning towards her suddenly very twitchy tail. Taking a moment to reach up and pull the collar of her outfit out a little, she reached in with her free hoof and started to look around for something...

Torrential stood absolutely still, his eyes focused on the so called 'Laughing Mare' as the surge of her ghosts rushed towards him. The lead ghost, overjoyed at the idea of getting its choice of where to bite first, was within a hairs width away from tasting alicorn flesh when something hard and sharp slammed into it from above and drove it into the still glowing water around the alicorn. This was only the first of many such blows as hail the size of a full grown stallions leg and as sharp as a well cared for sword rained down upon the lake, spearing and destroying ghosts by the droves with each passing second as they either tried to keep up the attack or attempted to dodge the icy onslaught in vain.

By the time the hail subsided the only two things left standing on the surface of the lake was Torrential Waters and the Laughing Mare herself, standing under what appeared to be a pink and purple poky dotted beach umbrella that now housed a number of shards of razor sharp ice. Casting the now useless umbrella away as the rain started to fall proper, the Mare seemed to frown. " That beach umbrella only had two days till retirement. He was planning on retiring with his wife to a small but homely umbrella stand in the country and raise a family together. I hope you're happy, you big meanie!"
Alright, tomorrow! I'm going to be getting a post up tomorrow night.
