An, uh, murder?

Yeeeaaaahhhhh, my character is guilty of robbing stuff. That's about it... this should be interesting regardless.
Hmm... off my character goes to steal from a store all stealthy-like. I wonder if she'll run into anyone...

“Awesome!” Michael said happily, toning down his voice at Sam’s warning. The tall boy quickly moved over to the living room where he plopped down on the floor, the ground shaking a little at his weight. But, Michael didn’t notice, not sparing the sleeping girl a glance. (Felicity did, of course. A quick glance as if checking if she was a threat. Then again, Felicity was rather ‘overprotective’.) He was distracted by the TV.

Felicity’s smile softened at the sight of him and her heart warmed. Only her brother was capable of eliciting such an emotion from her.

But, she was brought from her happy feelings as Sam caught her attention. Giving her brother another glance, she moved over to the side away from her brother.

She’d initially felt suspicious and worried, wondering what sort of bad news would come up NOW. But, it wasn’t what she’d expected. Sam was… concerned for her. He’d wanted her to be… safe? She could feel the concern and… confusion? It came off of him in waves. The confusion was what got her. Why was HE the confused one?

But, she couldn’t sit there and analyze his emotions for the rest of the day. SO, instead, she adjusted her sunglasses before widening her grin for him.

“Glad ya care, Sammy. Don’ worry, though. I’m a big girl, I can handle myself.” The look of her smile changed a bit as if she knew something he didn’t. “Trust me, 'kay?”

Her eyes flickered to her brother once more before she forced herself to move. Going towards the door, she gave Sam one more look. “Thanks, dude. For, uh, watchin’ Michael. And the whole concern thing… thanks.” Smile a bit uncomfortable at the sentiment, she gave a quick nod before leaving.

Outside the apartment, her smile finally fell. Expression serious for once, she glanced around the deserted hallway. Knowing there were no cameras and feeling safe in her abilities, she mentally prepared herself.

Finally. A quiet voice murmured in the back of her head which she POINTEDLY ignored before Felicity disappeared with an almost indiscernible ‘pop’.
@TlstifflI'd be up for something in the 'Slice of Life' category or the 'Dark Subjects' category.

Maybe the Depressed Kid x Savior or the Guy in closet x very openly gay guy and/or best friend x best friends. Yeah... you have quite a few good ones in there so, uh... yeah.

This is, of course, if you're still looking.
@Infamous EmpathThanks, dude.
*breathes heavily*

That's about all I got for now. I literally lost track of how many people had joined and stuff while typing. Then again, matches up pretty well to my character's 'uncaring' attitude. She'd forget some people too.
Now, despite her ‘rocker’ appearance and attitude, Lexi much preferred a more ‘behind the scenes’ approach in serious situations. I mean, sure. There were a BUNCH of people showing up and there were a BUNCH of introductions being given. Names, faces, it all blurred together at a certain point. She didn’t offer much in terms of introduction as they came around to her.

To be frank, she was kinda ‘meh’ about the whole thing. The only reason she came was due to some nagging curiosity that wouldn’t allow her to move on.

@KatherinWinter
She only really snapped to attention when a random chick appeared in the room. Weird, she’d thought before going back to her thoughts.

@Arya10108909
Then, a quiet girl came in who was all suttery and kinda adorable in an ‘Aww, what a sweet cinnamon roll. Protect them!’ kinda way… kinda. She’d offered a small 2-fingered wave before losing interest.

But then, the older guy started FINALLY speaking and she ended up muttering a ‘finally’ under her breath, leaning forward…

Are we, like, superheroes or something? That was her first thought, her second one being, admittedly, more child-like. Awesome! And the small smirk on her face was the only betrayer of her feelings on the subject.

@TechnoWizROK
BUT, it only gets MORE interesting when some dude with a fireball in his hand comes clambering in loudly. The only response her got from her was a huff and eye roll. She wasn’t impressed by his grandiose opening.

Always gotta have the one pyro, I knew something was missing.

But, she ignored the pyro to focus on the only person giving any sort of answers. And the look she gave was one of disbelief. Seriosuly? An evil is coming and we’re the only ones who can stop it due to these magic multi-colored gems coming to each of us? Wait a tick…

Her eyes narrowed slightly before she finally spoke for the first time since all of these people started pouring in.

“So… are we the Power Rangers or some crap? I mean, you say that there’s this ‘threat’ coming and only we can stop it. Can we get, like, a time estimate or some kind of explanation as to what our powers are ‘capable of’ or whatever? I mean, you’ve gotta admit this is kinda… a lot, to say the least.”
*cracks knuckles*

Time to play catch-up! Hmm...
Hmm... I hope that I had the right estimates for how long it would take to get places. I tried to work in where they're located (the underground, that is) to give you a better idea as to where they are. Hope it's okay!

And I should be getting my internet issues fixed so I should become a more... reliable presence in this. Sorry!
We’ve got a feisty Latina, dark and foreign, a kid, the homely one, and… possibly the quiet but strong type? Huh.

Personally, she thought that the idea to have this new man enter the premises was a good idea. Sure, a bit risky but… she wasn’t an idiot. There was strength in numbers and more numbers, the more people that could have out scavenging or have around to defend. Those creatures? They aren’t the first to make their way into the sewers and they won’t be the last. It’d be better to have more people around to defend.

He seemed like a good fighter, if a bit nervous. Then again, the man was greeted with implied violence/death so… she couldn’t necessarily fault him for that.

When everyone was inside, she’d immediately scanned the outside for any more approaching baddies but was glad to see the coast clear. She would prefer to close the door and maybe have a breather. But, there was still the manner of the stranger.

With a soundless sigh, she closed the door quietly before moving a bit more into the room. Her eyes flickered to the kid and she felt a bit of tension leave her at seeing the girl safe. Regardless of the apocalypse, she’d prefer to keep the kid out of it as much as possible. Maybe we could have her do some jobs around the base to keep it up to date…? She mused, mind already whirring with ideas.

But, she was brought from them when the Latina mentioned needing parts. A car shop was nearby, she’d added. Lavender’s eyes drifted to the side in thought. From what she could remember, the closest manhole cover (and the only way out in the area.) was on Bedford Avenue. And on the same street was a car shop. It would take roughly… 3 minutes to walk there from the top? It would be easy… as long as there were no surface creatures.

Nodding partly to herself and the Latina. “It would be about a 3 minute trip… It’s… close by on the topside…” She’d said to her, a small smile to prove that she was for the idea.

But, alas, there were more pressing matters.

She returned her attention to the man-oh, right. Elijah- who’d asked if he could stay with them. She already had her mind set. But, this wasn’t some dictatorship, it wasn’t just her decision.

She turned to the others, giving a nod to those that met her eye, letting them know that she was a firm vote in him staying.
