Mayt chuckled a bit at Wes’ words, knowing the guy was just trying to cheer him up.
”Mmm, I’m sure Phoenix Wing’ll come out of it alright. We’ve got Damian and Penny, who are both probably more dangerous than me, and I’m the guy that’s got, like, a millennium of family experiences with his magic locked away in his head.” He smiled some, oddly casual about the unique predicament his mother had placed him in.

Speaking of that event, however, I should probably find that electricity mage on the council and apologize for what I did to her in our fight…”[color=50c787] He sighed, and rolled his shoulders, ignoring the ever-present headache he got when trying to think about Edolas.
”But that doesn’t let you off the hook for leaving, of course, but I can at least understand your reasoning behind that, not wanting people to put themselves in that much danger just for you. To be entirely honest, I’m amazed we made it out as unscathed as we did… At least as far as I remember. As I said, I don’t remember anything about Edolas, and probably won’t until I’m 40 or so or whenever the hell mom set the trigger date for, so I guess it’s really all hearsay for me. The last thing I remember is seeing Karn outside the building before I ran in to help with whatever was going on in that basement. Which, I believe, is where some clever guy or gal decided to sic him on Edolas.” He chuckled softly.

Luna looked up and around at everyone one last time, memorizing their faces, before gently pulling away from Damian, taking in a deep breath before before heading towards the door.
”S-seems I’m getting in the way of things now… So I’ll j-just go back to my hotel.” She’d say softly, thinking it was too quiet to hear, as she moved past Layle, barely not bumping him.
As she got outside, avoiding any hands or anything else attempting to stop her expertly, she turned and headed down the street, barely noticing Trinity and Sasha walking towards the guild hall. She sobbed as she moved quickly away towards her guild, each one racking her entire body, barely keeping herself under proper control. She didn’t know why she was reacting to what they said, and what she said, so much. She wiped her face with her sleeve, taking in as deep a breath she could and holding it, trying to stop her sobs by force. She had to calm down before she got back, and she had no idea why she was acting so sad, In a few days she’d get to go out to see Melina again. She had to at least stay cheerful until then. Maybe she would talk to her Guild Master; he was always very nice and wise. She was sure he wouldn’t just dismiss it and say ‘stay with us’.
