Gotta love people suddenly becoming apolitical when someone is doing something they approve of.

Should we wait a few days before submitting the next round of war orders?
Kentucky is neutral, and I'll abide by that. Just remember neutral means it's on neither side. Kentucky broke its neutrality and became pro-Union during the war because the CSA kept raiding the state. And the diplomats are just me following history's lead on that one for now. Lincoln only negotiated with the South at the very end when the war was all but over with, and that was over matters like amnesty for the South and the CSA states adopting the 13th Amendment. For the duration of the war it was either unconditional surrender and admission back into the Union or nothing.

This is truth. As seen by the UK going to spank the Union's butt for being unruly and stubborn. I think I have some psych books about strong-willed children somewhere...

Sorry, it's hard to hear your trash talk from way over there on the wrong side of history.

And Byrd Man, we are in need of a good old debate <3

What's there to debate? I'm anti-slavery and nearly all of Europe is pro-slavery it would seem. It's not good to own people as property. End of debate.

We are working on other methods...Photosynthesis is surprisingly energizing. And sorry Aegon! But Brazil is better for that role. Plus slavery :p

Brazil had slavery, and it didn't abolish it until years after it ended in the US.

But surely Thorgili doesn't get war orders?

I wouldn't think so. Same with the UK. Nobody else has officially declared war on another country yet..
Aegon and I get war orders because of the Civil War, I don't need to officially declare war since I don't recognize the CSA as an official nation.
Don't worry, man. I know it's just a game. You don't have to worry about me taking anything too personal. I don't play that way.
I can't wait until the next update. God, I hope this game runs long enough to get to the 20th century. That should be fun to see.

The ongoing conflict with the Southern rebels is a matter the United States will handle. We are not interested in entering into foreign alliances and pacts with other countries, no matter how well-meaning they may be. As for the United Kingdom's rash decision to join this conflict. Please remember that a breaking of economic ties with the United States means no more of the precious American grain you use to feed your people and support your island. If you value cotton over bread, then so be it. I just hope your citizens can eat pantaloons.
