I can't swap out avatars

I had a problem with changing avatars and, even though it's fixed, figured I would mention it. It was doing like other people in the thread said, swapping it out but now showing it. I tried the stuff mentioned in this thread, and what finally fixed it was deleting my cookies. I don't know if that's a server problem here, or something with my browser (Firefox) but just wanted to bring it up.

With the news of the Communist government's rejection of generous peace terms from the Republic of China, President Truman has ordered me to extend naval patrols of the US Seventh Fleet, stationed in the Philippines, farther west across the East China Sea to encompass the Strait of Taiwan in their patrol routes. It would. If we can get people in the key roles ( VP, Sec. State, Def, etc) and at least a few legislators I'd be up to having a high-ranking member of some federal agency like the Director of National Intelligence or the EPA.

That's a good point, but I do want to do crisis stuff. Nothing on the scale of WW3 or another Great Depression, but there are going to be adversities ranging from economic recession, terrorists, spying scandals, potential war and the always reliable sex scandal. The stakes won't be as high as something set in the Cold War, but I'm gonna try. That, plus the congressional gridlock I hope we'll have to deal with will hopefully make it entertaining.
