As the story takes place during a scene of Revenge of the Sith, the Galactic Republic is currently engaged with the Separatists, formally known as the Confederacy of Independent Systems. However, the war is virtually over due to the recent deaths of both Count Dooku and General Grievous, the main leaders of the CIS war machine.

As Gat and Sep (our GM) mentioned, the Jedi Order currently trains its members from a young age. We know from The Phantom Menace that the Jedi Council even rejected Anakin Skywalker for training due to his age, only relinquishing under pressure from Obi-Wan Kenobi. Most any exception to the 5 year age barrier would challenge on-screen canon and make for a nonsensical story.

Ultimately, like Gat said, the decision rests with our GMs, but you might benefit from considering what your character would be like if they had grown up in the Jedi Temple. Your character, as written, is one that has already had many life experiences, but imagine the possibilities of writing a character with none. Their first foray into the greater world is ushered out by the pain and fear of Order 66. That's what we're writing here.

I don't know how many of you have seen Veronica Mars, but I have. It's one of my favorite whodunit series, mostly for the fact that the main mystery gets squeezed out for the entire season, at least in the first couple years. I'm rewatching it as part of a run-up to the Veronica Mars movie release next month.

I never really enjoyed Logan much before, but I'm starting to realize just how fun of a character he is. Especially with what he does with his hands.





And whoever was the director for this episode, this shot was absolutely brilliant!

Well, there are still people who want the game to continue. Set a deadline after every story post, get your PMs in by X date and time. If you don't have a PM from someone, you drop them.

As for the Guild, only God Mahz knows.

Well, I'm sorry for my absence everyone. That underway sucked.Right after my last post, I got pulled into my boss' office and lectured about bandwidth usage. My ship (CVN 70) is pretty strict about these kinds of things, so I ended up essentially being "grounded" from the Internet.It doesn't help that I know the head of the combat systems department (who is a huge douchecanoe) and he loves to start shit for people.It'll take a bit of catching up, but I can have a post up within a day or two. That is, of course, if I haven't been killed off/kicked out by now, or if you guys think I should just drop out. I know that unexpected absences are kind of off-putting, but I honestly had no idea that I would get an official write up banning me from a specific roleplaying website. :/So, I'll catch up on the story thus far, and make another post if you'll still have me. If not, I'll just creep back in every once in a while and see how the exiles are doing. ;)

Like Bounce said, hop right back in. I think you're fine, it's going kind of slow anyway. Which is good, as it seems like plenty of people are busy.

Anything we can do to help? Like drop you an email when there's been a major plot development, so you don't have to waste bandwidth on loading the Guild?
