Oh please. *mane flip*
There's plenty wrong with this logic.

First of all, under what assertion did you submit as to Mahz's status as a person? Furthermore, the terms of human and person are used interchangeably, but not explicitly defined as such, the assumption made is that a non-human could also be a person (e.g. a corporation).

Second, this line:
YandereNoodle said Websites must be human-made.

Is false. Websites need not be made by humans, it's entirely possible for a website to be made from start to finish by a non-human, such as a machine, thus voiding your entire argument.

I'll stop there, but there's more logical fallacies in this argument than what I mentioned.

Is it time for a Rate The Avatar Above You thread now?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!
I hate 5 point rating systems for forum topics. Jorick's illustrated just why they don't work, they're subjective as hell and not at all realistic. Also, as most threads wind up unrated, it's pointless to use as any real metric.
Java, SQL, C++, HTML, CSS and a bit of PHP.

I'm a senior in college for Computer Science, so I have a good level of skill in the first three languages, with experience in the last three from about 10 years of building, tweaking and managing websites.

unless it turns out that vBulletin nailed it in 1999.

They may have done so in 1999. But I'm pretty sure that their stubborn failure to do anything with it cost them more than that one little idea.
I never liked how vBulletin clumped all posts together. I really enjoy how SMF and IPB distinguish between someone's posts and created topics. It makes it easy to find a specific topic if you know the creator's name but not the title ("I remember this one topic about ponies started by mahz, but I can't remember what it was called...").

Since you already have RPs treated differently than normal topics, it makes sense to have a filter to see RP posts vs non-RP. I'm not sure whether it's better to clump IC and OOC posts in together or not, though.

As far as the UI goes, I rather like seeing the About/Overview page first when loading a profile. Even if there are other options, the typical reason I visit a profile page is to learn more about someone. When did s/he join? How many posts (total) do they have? Some biographical information, if they've revealed that. Maybe some stats, like where they post most often, when they were last active, when they joined (exact date, not fuzzy time), etc.

I'm not a big fan of tabs, but it does follow the UI scheme you've already created here. I say go with that.

Also, I currently really enjoy the quick way to see which PMs I have with someone already, but that box does take up space if I haven't PMed a particular person yet. Maybe that could be expanded on to topics (and broken into RP and non-RP sections) where you and this person have interacted before?

Thank you, Jordan.I'll shoot you a PM when it's finished. It'll probably be a few hours, but it will be today.

No worries. I've been sitting online most all day. I might have something going on later, but not until late in the evening (CST).

I am working on a post right now. I'll re-read it several times to make sure things make sense and I'm not pulling one of "Ahe den he sew da mun".Would one of ya'll be willing to read it over before I post it? Just to keep a lookout for things like that? I just took my painkillers like ten seconds, so I'm not 100% in my ability. lol

I'm more than willing if you want.
