Cole Walker, alias Mr. Nil
King's Station, Bordering Ross Park
3:00 AM
Interacting with Overclock (@Korkoa)

Tonight's excursion had led Centerville's own masked madman to King's Station, having decided to head out again after a short break to eat. Normally, he never ventured this far from the Lower Southwest End, though tonight he felt a tug to the more desirable part of town (though, that's only when compared to the hellholes of the Lower Southwest and Southeast Ends). Rain beat down upon his head, drenching his coat and hat, but he continued on. In the distance, lightning struck.

Mr. Nil leaped from the rooftop onto a freight truck, jumping off and rolling with the fall. Continuing on the ground, he found himself standing near a convenience store, where he saw a young man in street clothes wearing a bandana wielding a staff, one of his arms a very clear prosthetic. Surrounding him were four unsavory gangbanger types, guns at the ready. "Hunh." Mr. Nil hummed slightly, sneaking towards the scene.

Withdrawing his grappling gun, the vigilante aimed at one of the undesirables. Slowly, he squeezed the trigger, the hook wrapping around the man's ankles and pulling him into the alley. He screamed, dragging his fingers along the ground in a hopeless attempt to escape. His screams were silenced moments after he was pulled into the alley.

The gangers shifted their focus from the man with the staff to the alley, as Mr. Nil stepped out. "Hrm. Three against two. Not fair. They need at least a dozen more." He said, approaching the younger man and staring at him with blank, yellow eyes. "Shall we?

The sight of the Canadian's homemade grub made Ted's mouth water though he resisted taking to much food as he had already eaten. With nobody directly talking to him, Ted started to dig in. This was quickly interrupted by the sudden crashing and bashing of the tower and it's inhabitants by the last Daughter of Krypton.

"Well what do ya know." Ted said under his breath as he was shocked by the sudden appearance of Solara.

Quickly, the Question jumped out of his seat and put some distance between himself and the crazed Kryptonian. He took note of her stance, most notable was that her legs were further apart and she walked with more confidence. "Hurm," the detective hummed, "I think she lost her virginity while she was gone. Pretty easy to tell." As per usual, the faceless man was dead serious with this theory, ridiculous as it sounded.

He needed to get to the monitor room, handle the defense systems. Without powers or Batman-esque gadgets, he would be useless in a physical fight with a Kryptonian. Dashing forward, the conspiracy theorist darted around various Leaguers in a dash to the monitor room.

"Burn." Solara stated coldly, before releasing a blast of heat vision at Scarlet Scarab. Thankfully, the hero's armor managed to protect him, and the laser was deflected off...

"ACK!"

... Only to hit the League's faceless investigator right in the knee!

The Question dropped to the floor, his jeans burnt right through and his knee scorched. In vain, he attempted to pull himself back up, only to collapse once more. Thankfully, through being deflected the laser lost some of its power and didn't manage to take his leg right off, but that didn't mean he wasn't thoroughly fucked without some assistance.

Growling at the infuriating resistance of these feeble primates, Solara wasted no more time, screaming and launching herself toward the downed Question with all intentions of turning him into a red paste with her superior Kryptonian strength. A demented smile making it's way across her face as she imagined ripping him limb-from-limb and the sounds of his screaming and cri-

"No." A very irate-looking Champion simply stated as he abruptly stepped between the raging Kryptonian and her prey holding his lovingly-crafted Oreo Cream Pie... which he aggressively slammed into her face with enough force to send her rocketing backwards down the hall and through a few walls.

Cracking his knuckles as he listened to the banging of Solara's body tearing through the tower for that moment he knew it would stop and she'd come roaring right back at him, the Lion's head snapped towards Scarlet Scarab, veins pulsing in his temples to show that he wasn't exactly pleased to see the meal he'd spent an hour or two making go to waste because of some crazy, super-powered alien having a crazy, super-powered temper tantrum.

"Ted. Get Q outta here." He spoke, unusually calm and measured, but with an uncharacteristic terseness. "Now."

Sure, Ted was technically his boss, and Champ rarely (in fact, up to this point, never) spoke to him like that but... well...

On the one hand, Vic needed help. And Duncan was gonna have his hands busy very soon.

On the other, he was absolutely livid and was beyond giving a boiling shit about who was in charge at this point.

Lizard was not a happy player at this moment - she had just eagerly gotten to eating Champion' cooking, when somebody just had to ruin it. While she didn't care or not, if they were hero or villain, nobody interrupted a girl' eating moment.

While she was surprised at seeing Solara back and running - the notion that indicated that she was a 'bit' unhinged made engagement with her a bit more bearable for Lizard. As such, she almost cringed when that Pie was sacrificed for the greater good.

"Uhhh. I never got to eat it," she replied, in a rather down mood, seeing it used to slam Solara several walls away. "Okay then. It seems we have to get ugly here."

Namely she stood by next to Champion, namely she got tank some shots better than the others - and next to Champion was the toughest member in terms of strength. "Okay then. Champs, how do you wanna play this? Shall I hit her weak points, while you just hammer whenever she keeps on coming in?" asked Lizard, taking a stance next to Champion. "Also, what do you think we could use here to reflect her heat-vision - that will be quite a pain to deal with, once she starts zapping us with it."

Ted was more than a little unnerved by Duncan's directions due to the alien nature of the action but Ted knew that Duncan was right about needing to get Vic out of there. "Good luck Champ." Ted told Duncan as he dashed for Q'd side, helping him to his feet.

"Sitting on the job Q? You're gonna get kicked off the league for that." Ted joked as he hustled his friend towards the monitor room. However, before leaving the room Ted heard Jessica mention something about reflection to which Ted quickly stopped, unfastened his chest piece and tossed it to the duo.

"Don't keep that thing on your bare skin to long and try not to scratch it up too bad!" Ted yelled back as he quickly helped his crippled friend out of the room.

The Question grunted as Ted picked him up, Question swinging his arm around his friend's shoulder to prop himself up. He chuckled slightly at Ted's quip, "Please. You're too drawn to my eccentric charm to kick me out." Before long the two were away from the fight in the cafeteria, walking down the hall to the monitor room.

"Heh. This is just like that time back in Hub, y'know, when we went up against that crazy guy that called himself the Banshee? Bastard damn near broke my leg, and you had to haul me out of there..." Question reminisced absent-mindedly, trying to keep his mind off the fact that, more than likely, his leg would be screwed for life.

As the doors to the monitor room opened, Question allowed Ted to place him in the chair, activating the defense system. "Hunh... I'll send some security bots down there, maybe get some training bots to act as distractions... Hopefully we kept the Superman setting in there."
A few days sounds like a good amount of time for the timeskip.

Also, gonna try to post in the coming days.
Cole Walker, alias Mr. Nil
Location: Mr. Nil's Bunker, Lower Southwest End
Time: 2:49 AM
Currently in the process of researching for a theory.

Among the many derelict buildings in Centerville's Lower Southwest End, there was a specialized bunker. It was painstakingly crafted during the 1950s when fears of nuclear Armageddon were high, in order to house around fifty people for at least ten years. It was stocked with non-perishable cans of food, a water dispenser, and bare, spartan bedrooms. However, after the Cold War was over it was abandoned, still stocked with all of its essentials, and left to rot.

That was, until seven years ago, when the vigilante known as Mr. Nil made it his home. Making it into a utilitarian outpost, it was stocked with bulletin board after bulletin board of tacked on notes for various conspiracies, a 'monitor room' with multiple computer screens all synced into various cameras around the city, and the pièce de résistance, the research center. Stationed in Mr. Nil's bedroom, all it contained was his bed, a desk, and his laptop. To most it would appear that it was just the bedroom of someone who can't afford nice things, but no, in this room a lot goes on.

Currently, the conspiracy theorist was typing away on his laptop, a bulky, beat up thing running Windows XP. His mask was set off to the side, Cole's bloodshot blue eyes staring intently at the screen as gloved fingers danced across the keyboard. Delving deep within the vast place known as the internet, the fedora enthusiast would be pleased to find a wealth of knowledge on this theory. An article proposing it here, a leaked image here, it was all falling right into place.

Soon, the world would know.

Soon, they would know the truth about the crop circles.

Soon, they would know that the GIRL SCOUTS WERE BEHIND THEM ALL ALONG!

"Breathe... Breathe... Don't get too excited." The ex-military man muttered to himself, slowing his racing heart. He always got a little... Hyperactive when thinking about his theories. Perhaps it would be best to just relax for the night, let off some steam.

Cole nodded to himself. Letting off some steam sounded good.

With a sigh, he grabbed his helmet and slid it on.

Cole closed his eyes.

Mr. Nil opened them.

Setting off from the bunker, the man walked through the city streets with hands in pockets, searching for crime. This being the southwest end, of course there was crime, and he didn't have to wander too long to find it. Not even a street away from his lair he heard a scream emanating from a nearby alleyway, that of a woman. Probably a rape, maybe a mugging, or both.

The moon cast his long shadow through the alley way, and glinted off the steel blade held to the young woman's throat. Mr. Nil walked forward slowly, confidently, grabbing the lid off of a garbage can. The burglar turned, finally noticing the masked man, and his eyes widened. Before he had a chance to react, the lid was thrown like a frisbee at him, nailing him in the nose and causing him to fall backwards. The woman ran, still screaming, and Mr. Nil knelt down beside the man.

"Criminal scum," his mask included a voice modulator, deepening it to an unnatural quality, "you are too weak to see the light. You are compromised, corrupted. Failure as a human being." The masked man raised a fist, bringing it down hard on the man's face, knocking him out cold. The vigilante hogtied him, leaving behind his black and white calling card before going to a phone booth to get the police to the location to haul the man off. They wouldn't find him on their own here, barely any cops venture into the lower southwest end.

Not long after the vigilante made his way back home, content that he had let off some steam. He made his way into the food storage, a seemingly endless stock of canned corn, green beans, baked beans, peas, and yams. Grabbing a can of baked beans, Nil removed his mask and became Cole, opening up the can with his pocket knife and grabbing a fork to dig in. Taking a seat in his room, he ate, staring intently at his computer screen.

'I'm gonna get those damn girl scouts,' he thought to himself, 'their lies will be exposed.'

*Raunch* *Raunch* *Raunch*

'... Damn these are good beans.'

Now I can sleep.

Here's a Question/Mr. A/Rorschach analogue to add to the pile of heroes. Excuse any typos, grammar mistakes, and the overall lack of quality; been working on this for like four hours and I am extremely tired.

Thinking of doing a powerless (or, extremely low-powered) vigilante type whose sole aim is to take down the government and reveal its lies to the public, that sound good?
@Grec

Think you already accepted him, I saw and edited it into my post in the CHAR tab (after messing up and making another post in there), lol.
Heroes For Hire

It was a beautiful night in New York, with most of the criminals in the area taking the night off for one reason or another. Some didn't get the memo, however, but they had been quickly dealt with by the mighty fists of Danny Rand and Luke Cage. At least that's how it would have been on an ideal night.

"I can't believe that guy broke my bloody nose!" Danny yelled as he walked into the Heroes for Hire HQ, aka their shitty apartment, with his nose clogged with tissues and his head held high. "I didn't even use a power punch and that guy still got through my shield! What's up with that!?"

Luke chuckled at his friend's misfortune, patting him lightly on the pack; the force of the pat was equivalent to an average man shoving a person. "Must be something up with it. You're the tech guy, you'll know how to fix it if there is a problem." The large man hopped onto his old recliner, which creaked in protest.

"Still, I got the bastard good for you."

"Yeah, thanks for that. It was cathartic seeing the guy clobbered into the cement." Danny replied as he laid out on the couch. Danny began to idly look at the belt and gauntlets for anything obvious. I wasn't like his belt to just short out, but then again he wasn't working with top of the line parts anymore.

"We got any more pizza in the fridge, Luke? This bloody nose is giving me a hankering for some tomato sauce and cheese." Danny asked, taking the front panel off of the belt piece.

"You ate the last slice, remember?" Luke replied, quirking an eyebrow at Danny. "It was last night. I got pissed at you. What, you get a concussion when he caved your nose in?"

Danny let out a loud, guttural sigh as he recalled eating the last of the pizza. "Now I know how those ninja turtles felt." Iron Fist said as he empathized with the cartoon characters.

Simply shaking his head, Luke got up and headed into the kitchen. "... Still got some cheese and tortillas left. How 'bout a quesadilla?"

"Si señor," Danny said half heartedly as he put his belt back down and began looking over his guantlets.

Luke opened up the fridge, pulling out a package of tortillas and a bag of Mexican style cheese, tossing them onto the counter before preparing a quesadilla for Danny, following suit shortly after with his own. He entered the living room a few minutes later, handing Danny his quesadilla and sitting down in his recliner with his own.

"Gotta say, it could've been worse."

"What? The night or this quesadilla?" Danny joked as he tossed his tissues and began to dig in the delicious Mexican cuisine. "Must be the night because this thing is good."

"The night, dumbshit," the larger man said, rolling his eyes. "Guy coulda had a gun, and you'd be dead as disco instead of having a broken nose."

"Good point." Danny replied "So what's on the itinerary for tommorow? Any jobs lined up?"

"You know that Registration Act that was passed? Got the Avengers split up over it?" Luke asked rhetorically, leaning back in his recliner and taking a bite of his quesadilla. "We've been hired by Tony Stark, y'know, Iron Man. He needs extra muscle it seems. Spidey's with him too, so that's part of why I said yes."

"Sweet. Rich guys overpay for everything, I should know." Danny chuckled, taking another bite of his quesadilla. "I think I'm gonna turn in for the night. Gonna reset this nose of mine, take a few Advils and pass out." Danny said as he got up and headed for his room. "See ya in the morning, Power Man." Danny said, suggesting another hero alter ego for the behemoth.

"You do that, Danny. I'll just watch..." Luke flipped on the TV, currently set to a rerun of Full House. "... Full House." Right before Danny left, he suggested yet another alias for Luke to use. The man didn't exactly like the idea of going by some superhero name, dressing up in tight spandex and all that, but this one...

"Power Man..." Luke repeated absentmindedly, "sweet Christmas, that's badass."

The Streets of Hub City, Illinois

"Uh-oh, fell in love again (fell in love agaaain), what am I gonna tell my friends (tell all my frieeends)? It just happened, you walked in my door (you walked in my doooor), and now I don't wanna be, alone no mooore!" The sounds of Britney Britney's latest hit, (Uh-Oh) Fell In Love Again, filled the interior of the tour bus. If they weren't pissing their pants out of fear, the civilians inside might have found it to be rather funny. They were in a double decker hot pink tour bus glammed out with sparkles and fake jewels, being chased by mythological creatures. Their saviors were a faceless man in a Dick Tracy costume and a similarly faceless woman firing at the aforementioned mythological creatures.

However, because he wasn't pissing his pants out of fear, Oscar Ellison, better known as The Question, was currently laughing his ass off at the absurdity of the situation in between bouts of singing along to the music. "Hahahaha! Aw... Aw man... Okay, okay get a hold of yourself Q, get a hold of yourself... Hey Alias!" Question shouted to his partner, "How far is that military base?"

Shams Al-Harasa sighed from the back of the bus as she shot her shotgun out of the window at the closest fairy tale creature. She had been shouting directions at Oscar as he drove them through the city. All of this from memory of a place where she had never even been. She'd been around the city, yes; that was a police officer's job, but she had never been to the military base. That was the best place to go however, if there were still guys there they'd know exactly how to secure the area and protect the civilians.

"Just a few more turns from here, it's on the right side of the road from the... the ship-museum, the old battleship that you can walk around in," she instructed. Then she paused a moment. "And stop torturing these poor people, Britney's music's bad enough without you wailing the crappy lyrics."

"Hey shut up," Question barked at his partner, "I can't turn it off! There's no button or whatever for it! And so what if I happen to like bubblegum pop? At least I'm not afraid to admit it." The vigilante turned to the nearest civilian, "You like pop music?" The civvie nodded shakily, though it seemed more like he nodded just to get Question to look back at the Goddamned road.

"See Alias, this guy gets it!"

Alias scoffed as she reloaded her shotgun, cocking it as she looked over at Oscar and his apparent friend, who whimpered without making a move.

"He's just nodding because he's in a bus with a man who lacks a face, hell, if I was in his shoes I'd be doing whatever the hell you wanted too," she said with a hidden smirk. Standing to fire another shotgun shell out the window. When she pulled back, she heard a yelp from the back window, noticing a satyr holding onto the back of the bus.

The satyr also had a massive erection.

She really needed to read more mythology to find out what in the fuck this was.

The satyr's innovative method of trying to enter the bus was humping the window in the hopes that it would break. It did break, but not thanks to the satyr's gyrating hips.

More thanks to a shotgun. Right to the goat-face. It was quite satisfying.

"Is this really the fastest we can go? I only ask because we're being chased by a shit-ton of horny goat people."

"Uhhhhhhhhh..." Q checked the speedometer. Judging by it, they were going 90 miles an hour. "... A, we're going ninety. I don't think we can go any faster." Still, hoping that the van could somehow go even faster, Question put the pedal to the metal. Suddenly, the bus began to fly forward, right into a harpy which exploded in a shower of blood and guts.

Wordlessly, Question turned the windshield wipers on.

"One-seventeen now!" Question shouted to his partner.

Alias growled.

"You mean you weren't going as fast as you could?! We're in a fucking warzone!" she roared as angrily as she could sound. She yelped as a massive lion leaped onto the side of the bus, smashing one of the few non-broken windows. She fired a blast into the beast's eye with a roar. The beast's corpse lodged itself in the window, forcing Alias to kick it out of there.

Well, she wasn't forced to, but it felt good none-the-less.

"There's too many of them, we're not gonna make it taking this route!" she yelled to Oscar, her voice breaking just a bit. She was usually quite good at hiding her fear, but this was not the usual situation she found herself in.

The other passengers seemed to notice, and quite a few began to panic, one breaking down into fearful hysterics and another hyperventilating.

Alias looked back at Oscar.

"I don't care what you do, just get us there as fast as possible!"

Looking at his partner and the panicking civilians, Question nodded, gripping the steering wheel tightly and swerving into an alley. Screams were heard behind him, but he didn't care; he was going to get them to the military base ASAP. Behind them were dozens of satyrs, a cyclops, and- holy fuck, is that a minotaur?

"HANG ONTO YOUR ASSES!" The faceless fedora enthusiast shouted, heading out of the alley and turning sharply to get back onto the main road. The back of the bus hit a minotaur as Question attempted to straighten it out, denting the bus and causing the minotaur to go flying into a brick building.

Question kept right on this road, he could see the city limits and with it the military base. Before long, the swarm of monsters chasing the bus were just dots in the distance, and the military base was in sight. Reassured they were away from the bulk of them, Question slowed the bus down to a reasonable speed of 60 MPH.

He turned back to the occupants of the bus. "That good?"

As a result of Question's sudden turns, Alias had tumbled head over heels, accidentally firing a shotgun shell into the roof before settling upside-down between a pair of seats, head staring up at the gum-coated underside of one of them. It was quite disgusting, at least the floor was consistantly cleaned, all the best for a pop princess she supposed.

As Question finally slowed to a reasonable speed, Alias attempted to pull herself out only to end up collapsing in an even less dignified heap. She huffed and made a few primal noises as she freed herself with a thump and pushed her way into a standing position. She grabbed her shotgun from the floor and cocked it again, sending the shell that she had spent during her graceful fall tumbling through the air in a manner that she imagined much resembled her own collapse.

"Yep, just fantastic," she groaned as her hip lit up in agony from being slammed into the wall. "Thank god for painkillers," she mused as she slowly made her way up to the front of the bus.

"Right, just a right turn up here and we should be there," she said, gesturing to the road with the hand not currently pressing against her injury. As she turned she mumbled to herself something about hoping the map was correct and that she couldn't wait to get the fuck out of here.

As Alias got up from the floor, Question couldn't help but feel a little bad about how fast he was going. He was caught up in the moment, the adrenaline making him do things he would regret later. Thankfully nothing too bad happened, like someone dying, but still.

However, that adrenaline was still coursing through him, so when he noticed Alias pressing a hand against her injury he said "Want me to kiss it better?" in a tone that wasn't exactly innocent. And it was only after saying that that he realized he actually said that. 'Oh fuuuck...'

Alias stopped suddenly.

She turned back to look at Oscar very slowly.

'Did he just hit on me?'

She waited in that spot for a time that felt like an eternity before walking towards Oscar and stealing the hat from off of his head and tossing it into the back of the bus.

She'd need that for later.

"Focus on the road," she reminded before walking back into the bus.

Question cringed slightly when Alias took his fedora, half wanting to shout at her to give it back. Instead, he focused on the road as she said, blurting out a quick "Sorry" as he did so.

Not long after, the bus was pulling up to the military base, which seemed to be abandoned. "Shit. What now?"

Alias turned back as she felt the bus slow, quickly running up to look out the windshield.

The base was in fact abandoned, and that crowd of harpies by the humvee appeared to be snacking on a corpse of some kind. Alias couldn't help but cringe at the sight of one of the fiends pulling a long string of tissue from what was almost definitely a deceased soldier. The fence was broken through in multiple places, and the glass of the visitor's building window appeared caked with fresh blood.

She almost didn't wanna go in.

"Well, the barracks or armory should be secure, they're probably holed out there, and even if not, it couldn't hurt to get some better guns. Especially considering I'm almost out of shells," she said, pulling four shells from within her trenchcoat. She loaded them all into the shotgun, making six in total.

She cocked the shotgun and made her way into the back, grabbing Oscar's hat and hiding it on her person and informing all of the civilians to follow her. She walked back through towards the door.

"Let's go Q, get your pistol out, you shouldn't need to use it if we're quiet enough."

She calmly made her way down the stairs with a few deep breaths, walking onto the faded asphalt that marked the enterance to the military base.

"We're going through the fence, head towards that big building over there," she whispered to the group, crouching into a more stealthy position.

The Question followed Alias' lead, crouched low and following after her with light steps. The civilians followed closely after, and before long the group made their way into the armory, Question opening the door and heading in first...

Only to meet the barrel of a rifle.

Looking up, the owner of the rifle was a man well into his thirties, his blue eyes filled with suspicion. "... Are you one of those Actor Activist types, or whatever they're calling them these days?" The man asked.

Gulping slightly, the Question nodded. "Uh..." he cleared his throat, taking on his trademark growl. "Yes. Call me the Question. Rescued civilians with partner Alias, took them here in the hopes we could find armament and provide them a safe haven with you."

"Bit too late for that safe haven, pal," the soldier said, lowering his rifle, "those bastards did a number on us." He extended a hand, "Captain Frederick Curie. Call me Fred."

"Hrm. Good to meet you, Captain." Question said, shaking the man's hand.

Alias moved up next to Question, careful to avoid pointing her shotgun anyware near the man in uniform.

"Always nice to see a man in uniform," she sighed in relief. "We have around five men, four women, and four children, a boy and three girls," she informed in as neutral a tone as she could manage through the adrenaline-driven hyperventilation.

"Alias, that's me, HCPD too," she said, recalling Oscar's introduction while also giving information as to her own identity in order to prove that they weren't just some morons out of their league.

They were that too but still.

"HCPD? Well, if you're risking your neck helping innocents as a vigilante, then you're definitely not one of those incompetent corrupt sons of bitches they have in the department." Captain Curie said to Alias, turning back to Question. "So, you want weapons, eh? General Wallicker was one of the first to bite the dust, so that leaves me as the CO of this place... So knock yourselves out."

Question was stunned. "... You're... You're serious."

Captain Curie just nodded.

"... You're not gonna pull some bullshit, right? No strings attached?"

"As long as there are rifles and ammunition enough for us to hold out until help arrives, be my guest."

"Jesus Christ, this is so much easier than I thought it was gonna be." Question muttered, both ecstatic that they were getting the weapons so easily and shocked that the man would just give them away to strangers. Grabbing a nearby duffel bag, Question began to grab explosives, rifles, shotguns, really any weapon he could find.

Alias was flabbergasted by the man's ease in which he gave away the weapons. She had thought military men would be a bit more stringent on such matters, but she wasn't one to complain. She grabbed as many grenades and other explosives as she could find, and that was a whole lot.

Those artillery shells probably weren't going to see much use, so why not use that to blow something up?

Alias grabbed as many shotgun shells as she could hope for and then tossed the sack over her shoulder, hoping to god that Captain Curie had no objections.

Clearly there was no way for this to serve as a defensible location, with the lack of soldiers other than this one and maybe the one or two friends he had, and the fact that all the fortifications appeared obliterated by the assault, if a crowd of the beasts came they'd be slaughtered. So she took all of the explosives and loaded them in the bus before going back for another load. Curie didn't seem to mind. By the end she had made a pile big enough to cover the back windows of the bus.

She drove all of the citizens back into the thing and ran back in to fetch Question.

"Right, you good Q?" she asked, heavily breathing from the effort required to bring those heavy sacks around.

"Yep, all good." Question said, packing up the two duffel bags filled to the brim with guns and ammo into the bus. "... Do we really need all this?"

"If we want to hold out till someone gets here to help, probably," she confirmed solemnly. "Come on, we have to get moving before any more monsters get here," she said, gesturing him onwards.

Nodding, the Question hopped onto the bus, getting into the driver's seat and waiting for Alias to get on before closing the door. "So where to? Are we staying here?"

"No, it's not safe enough, all the fortifications are broken. We're heading to the hockey rink, that'll house everybody and it should be defensible enough," she said, climbing onto the bus and pulling the doors closed with a wave to Captain Curie.

"And hockey sucks so nobody will miss it if we blow the rink to shit." she japed with a tired smile hidden behind her mask.

As Alias said that, an idea sparked in the Question's mind. "... This bus has a pretty good sound system, we can play the music pretty loud. Loud enough that it could be heard for blocks." Behind his mask, a maniacal grin lit up his face.

"... Let's crank it up, lure these bastards to the hockey rink, trap them in there, then blow it to shit."

Alias stared at him like he was the stupidest man on Earth at first, then she thought about it more and more.

"Well, I mean, that's stupid, but I suppose it could work, and even if it doesn't, it should distract them long enough to allow us to leave," she said with a hand on her chin. "Eh what the hell, let's try. Worst thing happens we die, not like that was ever off the table so what do we lose?" she asked rhetorically with a shrug.

"Nothing." Question said, his grin seeping through his tone. "Let's go blow up a hockey rink." With those words, he turned up the volume to max and began to drive, the monsters inhabiting the military base following not long after.
