Um, I think you misread my post; Grey didn't use the ice ladder, he made it so that the guards would think that 'Sub Zero' went to the roof. He got back to his home by traveling through the sewers
2537: Eos, Mars

"It's Sub Zero!"

"He's struck again!"

A group of guards rushed through the city streets, heading towards an ally way "we've got that Conduit scum this time!" One of them declared triumphantly. However when they got there, they saw something rather unexpected; an ice ladder leading up to the roof, and a young boy with the bottom of his shoe frozen to the ground, struggling to get free

When the boy saw the guards, he said "quick! He went to the roof! I'll be okay, but you can't let him get away!" Jumping at the urgency in the boy's voice, the guards rushed up the ladder to the roof in search of the fugitive; Sub Zero. Once they were all out of sight, the boy chuckled and the ice on his shoe disappeared "wow...that was too easy. They were either so caught up in the moment, or never even considered the idea that the monstrous Sub Zero could just be a kid." He walked over to a box and pulled out a bag that had been hidden inside "not a bad haul. I manged to get some new clothes. I really need to remember to have a few decent outfits around. Can't let anyone suspect that I'm all on my own. If they knew that I was an orphan, then they'd take me away and might find out that I'm a Conduit, and then..." he shivered "I don't even want to know what happens next. You need to remember to be careful Grey" he said to himself

With his loot sack in hand, he went into a nearby manhole and into the sewer. Once he slid the manhole back into place, he landed and put a thin layer of ice on the nearby ground. Then he jumped up and added a pair of ice made skates to his shoes, and then proceeded to skate to his destination, while freezing the ground in front of him "I wonder if that's why it's so easy; they all think that Sub Zero is an adult, and a scary looking ninja by the sounds of it. So when they see me just walking around, no one thinks anything of it. Hmmmm...if that is true, then I'm going to need to find away to enforce that belief...maybe make people think that I have some...what were they-ah! Plasmids! I should find a way to make people think he has Plasmids. Maybe Augmentations and the force as well. You can have all those at the same time...right? Hmmm, definitely something to look into. Ah, here I am" having arrived at his destination, Grey got rid of the skates and climbed up the ladder into a rundown room; his home. It was the the part of the city that could be called the 'slums'. It was small, but it existed, and Grey had managed to find a room in one of the abandoned buildings that not only had a hole to the sewer in it, but also still had running water and electricity for some reason

"Alright, lets see here" he said to himself as he checked over his loot sack "food...soap...clothes. Yep, looks like I got everything. Good, that should last me for a few days" after putting the food away in the fridge (which looked like it was only barely working), he sat down on the (broken) sofa and turned on the (busted, but still working) TV "I wonder if there's anything good on"
Huh, The fact that the Psuedospace book wasn't a skill book was kind of disappointing. He also wasn't sure what to make of the Divination book. However, the skill he got from the Spirit Channeling book intrigued him; he wasn't quite sure how he could use it, although he did have an idea; unlike what he had assumed, this was not a talent skill, which meant that it had to be leveled up like a normal skill. That 20 MP per minute was a really hefty cost...but Mike had a plan; he could use this skill to eat burn through his mana, and then use Meditate to recover it. He had been looking for a way to level that skill. Since he didn't have any way to quickly burn through his mana, he didn't really have any options. Decided that he wouldn't be able to do anything else today, Mike went to bed
Tini

It was time for the last fight; Tini and Jasper were both staring each other down...also, there may or may not have been a tumbleweed blowing through the dojo. Their epic stare down was broken when the word "Fight!" was uttered

"Fairy Wind!"

Unlike the last two, Jasper was barely effected by the attack "ha! This is going to be a breeze (coughlamepuncough)!" Rushing in, Jasper hit Tini with a Lick

"Ewwww!" Tini moaned as he got hit with a few more Licks.

"Hah! Looks like you're not as tough as you thought you little punk!" Jasper heckled Tini

As much as Tini wanted to squeeze that meany Ghastly, he didn't have the strength to leap up at him. It was right then, at the edge of defeat, that Tini felt something awaken inside of him. It was a power that had laid dormant for quite some time, and it was now ready to emerge. However, in order to invoke that power, Tini would need to call it using that which was most sacred and precious in this world, something that was gifted to mortals by the gods themselves. Steeling his resolve, Tini called out the new name of this power "By The Power Of Cookies!!!!!" and all of a sudden, his strength returned to him

"W-what!? Why is he glowing like that!?...Also, why do I smell cookies!?" Jasper, as well as everyone else, found themselves rather baffled by this turn of events. Tini coiled his body up getting ready to leap at Jasper "hah, you moron, I'm a Ghost Ty-gack" before he could finish, Tini had lept up to him and had Wrapped around his body, out of reach of his tongue "get...get him off me..." the somehow choking ghost managed to say. Without any limbs, he was unable to remove the Dratini from his body, and so Tini was able to continue to squeeze the life out of him. After a few minutes, Jasper fainted

Tini responded accordingly "yay! I win"

"B-but how!? Wrap is a Normal Type move. Those don't do anything to Ghost Types" Gasper squeaked out

Tini stopped his adorable little victory dance "wait...they don't? Well then, someone really should have told me that"
I'm not sure if you noticed it or not (since you didn't mention it), but I posted Mike paying for, and using his books
"Wow! It's here already!?" Mike jumped in surprise. Taking out the money, he put it into the hole in the UFO. After he payed, he got his new books "this is so awesome!" Feeling really excited, he quickly used his new books to get the power they held...or rather that they taught "I wonder what kind of awesome new things I'll be able to do" he wondered to himself
So we're starting already? I'm the only one who's put up a CS
The GM has spoken!
Well since someone else gave my math a pass, I'm just going to go ahead and assume that I'm right and edit my post accordingly
"Fire and electricity can just be flung at someone, and Telekinesis can be used to fling other things, but ice...ice is different."

Name: Grey
Code-Name: Sub Zero
Age: 13
Species: Human Conduits
Gender:

Hired by: None
Powersuit: None
Favorite bomb: None yet, since he's never even seen one
Powers: Ice Conduit
Sub-Culture: Grey grew up in Eos, the capital of Mars. As such, he was exposed to a lot of anti-anyone-who-isn't-a-normal-human sentiments, being a Conduit himself, he's not too fond of such things. Ever since he discovered his powers when he was five, he's kept them secret from everyone, this has made it hard for him to trust others. After striking out on his own, he was forced to use his powers to steal small bits of food since no one would give him any kind of work, something that he felt very bad about. However when people started to notice his work, they soon realized that an Ice Conduit was on the loose. Since nothing was known about him, people called him Sub Zero. After constantly hearing people talk about him like he was the second coming of Hitler, he began feeling better about taking food from those bigots. There were far worse criminals on the loose, yet somehow a simple small time food thief was worse then all the serial murders and rapist on the planet. Stealing food soon became fun for him, as a way to get revenge for being hated for being born the way he was
Personality: Grey is sort of a tragic optimist; because his life is so horrible, he sub consciously taught himself to look on the brighter side. However even his forced optimism has it's limits, as he can sometimes be seen straining to keep cheerful. Grey has a rather creative mind, and he shows it through his Conduit power
Backstory: Grey was dropped off at an orphanage just a few weeks after he was born. The story he was told was that he was brought there by an elderly lady who had helped his mother during childbirth. Because of this stroke of luck (if you can call it that) Grey knows when his birthday is and has been able to keep track of his age. Things got even worse when the orphanage he was at ran out of money and was closed down. Having heard too many stories about orphans being used as test subjects, Grey left before he could be put somewhere else. Now living on his own in the streets, Grey was forced to get good at using his power fast in order to survive.
