Well it looked like the adventure was back on "yay! more adventure!" Tini cheered. As he made his way to the vines, he made an important discovery; he lacked the limbs to climb them "ah crumbs" he pouted. However, someone like Tini wasn't going to give up the easy. Finding the thickest vine he could, he stretched up as high as he could and then bit into it. Once his jaw had a solid enough grip, he coiled tightly around a group of vines. Then he stopped biting the vine and stretched up further before biting into another vine. He conditioned this until he had reached the top. Once he was back on solid ground, he crumbled to the floor and cheered weakly, but still excitedly "yay...adventure"

"Fire Types huh? Well your fire wont hurt me, because my flame burns brighter then both of yours!" Swimming behind Spruce, he used his little fishy snout to flip him up into the...water(?) and caught him on his back. "Come Spruce, my noble comrade. Let us charge wildly into battle! For honor, justice, and the glory of your lover and my friend Celes. Please don't feel left out M; I only mentioned Celes because she and Spruce are in love, and fighting battles for the sake of one's women isn't unheard of. I added that part about her being my friend to make it clear that she was more to me then just my friend lover. You are just as important to me as the others my metallic friend. Now, time to charge!!!" and with that, Kamina rushed the two fire types, with Spruce on his back

Wouldn't autotomize be rather painful, considering what autotomy entails?
It should be. However considering Pokemon can use moves like Self-Destruct and Explosion and only be knocked unconscious, I'd say it wouldn't hurt

Something like that. With Autotomize, Monado can make himself weightless (Autotomize raises the users Speed stat 2 stages while lowering their weight 100kg. Honedge only weigh 2kg) so that should help. Monado also has his own attacking move (like Fury Cutter). So if Lupus told him to, he could ready one in a battle so that he could use it by swinging Monado

hey card How does the wielding of Honedge work? (plus lupus can't wield it properly unless he evolves) because this pokedex entry slightly scares me.
I was kind of hoping that we could ignore the Pokedex entries, because quite frankly, some of them don't make any sense (ie Cubone's; according to the 'Dex, every single Cubone wears the skull of it's mother. Not only would this mean that laying a Cubone egg somehow killed the mother, but that newborn Cubone somehow found their dead mother and took off their skull to use as a helmet. Not only that, but since the species of a Pokemon is determined by the mother, that would mean the the Cubone evolution line should be extinct due to the decreases in Cubones being born.)
Speaking of Cubone:
As for how he would wield Monado; I'd say using him as a tail flail could work (Monado could hold onto Lupus' tail with the hand part of his sash and Lupus could just swing him around)

Not only that, but I have a nickname now." Floating over to the Zorua, he laid on his back with his eye facing up and used his sash to fasten himself to the small quadruped "and on top of that; I have a new best friend too!" At this point, he began weeping tears of joy "they were wrong, they were all wrong; I'm not just a piece of dead scrap. No piece of dead scrap could every feel as alive as I do right now. I've...I've never been this happy to be alive. I love you new best friend!"
Monado's eye beamed "you really think I'm sharp!? Oh thank you so much, that is so nice of you to say!" he hugged her with his sash."But to answer your questions; yes I'm here to join the guild, but no, I didn't see the advertisement; Quaga, the mayor's son told me about this when I said I was here looking for adventure." Just then, something occurred to him "ohhh...you must be the Braixen he mentioned. Heh, I completely forgot about that part. My bad"
