Well, My CS is done now. Hope it's okay
"Does getting beaten up count as combat experience? Because if so, then I have a whole lot" Monado answered "I'm still working on the 'fighting back' part, but I'll get there." Just then, he realized something "oh yeah! My Fury Cutter move is Bug Type, that means it's good against Grass Types. I'll just charge it up and then you go *swoosh!* and down they go. Also...I think it gets stronger for a little bit if you use it over and over again"

Oh, and also; I don't have a favorite anime/manga, but since DNAngel was the first manga series that I ever read, it has a special place in my heart for being my gateway to anime and manga (at the time I didn't know that Pokemon, Digimon, and Sailor Moon were from Japan)

Personality: Back in the old world, Kouta was crushed by depression. Simply surviving, and not living. Just going through the motions with no drive of any kind. However when he
was pulled into this new world, all of that changed. Renbu was absolutely nothing like the gloomy Kouta. Cheerful, easily excited and full of life. It wouldn't be too far off to say that Kouta was reborn as Renbu. While he had seen a lot of this world before, it had only been on the computer. Now that he was actually in this world, he wanted to see it all with his own two eyes.
History: Back in the real world, Kouta was the son of an extremely wealth singer in the most popular rock band in Japan; Gaim no Kaze. After finishing up a tour, Kouta's father brought him to a party he and his band mates were throwing as a celebration. Everything was going great...until a crazed fan girl attacked. She had homemade explosives strapped to her chest and a large knife. She was one of many (female) fans of the band who were anguished when Kouta's father got married. Kouta doesn't remember much of what happened that day, only that she began to rant and rave hysterically about how his father 'betrayed' her. The band tried to calm her down (while also calling the police without her realizing), however that proved to be futile when she threw then knife at his mother, hitting her in the chest with surprising accuracy for someone as out of it as her. His mom didn't live much longer, and while everyone was distracted by her death, the crazed fangirl rushed the band and detonated the explosives. This happened when Kouta was 6
When Kouta came too, he was in a hospital and couldn't feel his legs. When the doctor came in, he said that Kouta had been the only survivor, but his legs had been too damaged to save...they were forced to amputate them. Shortly after delivering the news, a police man came in to ask Kouta about what happened. Because he was still in shock, Kouta was able to give a coherent enough account of what he remembered. After that, the police man left, leaving Kouta alone with his thoughts. 1 week later when he was healthy, a funeral was held for his parents and the rest of the band. Having lost his legs, Kouta had to use a wheelchair. Because of both the small fortune his father had made, and the royalties, Kouta was finical set for life. However, the death of his parents had left a void in his heart. Since they were both only children, and their own parents were dead too, Kouta was alone in the world.
Since then, then only really noteworthy thing that he's done was finish he father's last song; Renbu Escalation. It was the last song his father wrote, but only one verse had been written. After he finished it, he was able to record the finished song at the same company that his father's band used. As it turned out, Kouta got his father's singing voice. The song was put in a new album along with the band's greatest hits and titled; "Saiyonara Gaim". When he was 14, Kouta discovered a game called "New Terra Online. He was instantly hooked.
Roughly two years later, he found himself inside of the game. any panic he might have had at being stuck in a strange new world were overridden by one important fact; he had working legs again. The very first thing he did was rest his class to a more Agillity based one. Now that he had his legs back, he wanted to use them. So he chose the Templar class. for the first time since that horrible night so long ago, Kouta was happy; he had something that he had lost so long ago, the ability to simply walk under his own power.

Ame nodded "fine" he answered his defalt tone of voice; neutral. 'Strange, why do I feel an even greater desire to preform well? It's not like I haven't done any retrieval training before. Sure I'll be faced with more hostility, based on what I've heard...but still, it doesn't make sense.' Suddenly, Ame had an epiphany 'It's because of her; Willow. She's why I want to so well. I want to prove to myself that this strange allergy of mine won't hider me in battle. Like when I was recovering from that broken leg.' Ame nodded, feeling satisfied with his conclusion 'yes, that makes a great deal of sense. Although for me to take so long to figure it out...father was indeed right; I still have a long ways to go if I have this much trouble understanding my inner thoughts'

I need to know that I'm not dreaming!" Ame hit him with a light Bubble attack "Gah! That hurt...that means that this is all real! I've never been so happy to feel pain! Thank you water guy" Ame simply nodded. Sliding back onto his Best Friend Lupus' back and wraping his sash around him, he said "I'm so ready for this I think I might explode!" He began to quiver in excitement

Also, Mike already knows that the Abyss is a deadly place. He understands that his powers will put him in battles with his life on the line. The reason he's okay with it is because it's a step up from where he used to be. Even even though I not taking the Epic to reroll, this wouldn't give Mike any kind of internal dilemmas. As he's said before; before he had his powers, he would go to bed scared that he wouldn't wake up (ie, die in his sleep). If anything, he's going to be more pissed off at the permanent stat loss then terrified that he almost died

Don't know if you forgot the Gamer's Mind Skill that makes you immune to mental status ailments, but I guess Mike is just really pissed off, not pissed off to the point that would detriment his abilities (although his mind wouldn't be clouded), but I honestly did not see this coming here. (Note that probably should have asked if you wanted to use a Luck Point to prevent that fumble. You can still do that if you want, but seeing Mike go all soul sucker should be interesting).

He felt so weak. That Necromancer had sapped his power. By the looks of it, some of it was permanent 'no! Not this! I can't let him cripple me, I won't go back to the way I was before. Never. Never. Never.' "NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Rushing to the Necromancer, he slammed his palm onto his face and tried to reach into his soul with Spirit Channel and tried to pull it out and absorb it "GIVE ME YOUR SOUL!!!!!!" Mike felt an unfamiliar rage in him, and while his mind was clouded by anger, he was still sane enough to recognize one fact; he couldn't run or hide. These people could hit him before he got away. So that left him with only one other option; brutal offenses
