'Ha! And they all said Splash was worthless, would never be good for anything! Well let's see them laugh now! I have refined my Splash to allow me to travel on land!' While Kamina certainly sounded exciting in his head, to anyone looking at him they would just see an oddly colored Magikarp flopping in a straight line with an odd look in it's eyes 'it's here...this is the place! This is where the next chapter of my life begins!' he thought to himself as he continued on his way.

Despite having traveled for about a quarter of the day, he didn't seem winded at all. On the contrary; he looked pumped...or about a pumped as one can expect a Magikarp to look 'I can only imagine what awesome adventures await me here. The places I'll go, the people I'll see. A vast future is out there...just waiting for me to grasp it! I know it wont be easy...but that's the entire point! Through my blood, sweat and tears, I shall be forged into a might warrior!' his pupils literately looked like the were on fire now "WITNESS AND BE AMAZED WORLD! AS I, KAMINA, CRAWL MY WAY FROM THE BOTTOM, TO THE VERY TOP!!!!" He yelled as loud as his little fishy lungs would let him.

Bio: Like most of his kind, Kamina was forced to endure vast amounts of torment at the hands of other Pokemon. For so long, he was forced to serve as the punching bag for others. Being so weak, he also had great difficulty finding food for himself. Normally, this would be enough to break anyone. Shatter their fragile mind and sense of self worth. Sending them into a spiral of depression strong enough to break even the most battle harden warriors and turn them into mere shadows of their former selves!.........Kamina however, was far from normal

When Kamina took a good long look back on his life, remembering all the torment, all the pain, those many days he went hungry, those times he almost died. He took it differently then most would. He took it as a challenge. That lit a fire in him. From that day on, Kamina spent every second he could training. Although, due to his only move being completely useless, he didn't make much progress. However that failed to discourage him, if anything it drove him further. He worked himself to the bone day in and day out...and didn't have anything to show for it.

One day, after he had worked his body too much to work with his insane training, a group of nasty Pokemon found him. They beat him severally, laughing as they did. But Kamina didn't scream, he didn't even cry. he was too tired to do either. As he fell into unconsciousness, he felt his body drifting away on the currents of the sea...

When he woke up, he was on a strange beach he had never seen before. He could also make out a faint rainbowish glow off in the distance above the sea. As his mind caught up to his body, he noticed that in his sleep, his body had been fully revitalized. Excited and ready to resume his training, he accidentally shot pellets of fire out of his mouth. Instead of questioning how he managed to learn a move that his kind shouldn't be capable of preforming, he immediately attributed it to his 'burning spirit' as a result of his 'passionate hard work.' He decided right then and there to continue his training on land to become the most badass Magikarp ever...

...before moving on to becoming the greatest Gyarados that ever lived

Appearance: Is a much deeper shade of red then the rest of his kind, with the crown on his head a deep blue color

Quick question about extra types; If a Pokemon that normally only have one type but gains another when it evolves is given another type, does that mean that when it evolves it has 3 types?

The Final Fantasy

Arthur was quite literally a fish out of water

"Wow..." he marveled at the festivities going on around him. Such a wide range of people and things going on around him, it was almost overwhelming. "I...I don't even know where to start" he admitted to himself

Having gotten human legs not too long ago, Arthur was still adjusting. For example; having his movement limited to mostly to two dimensions was a pretty big one. Underwater, going up and down was as easy as left and right. So easy in fact, that he sometimes forgot about the new limitation to his mobility. This led to more then a few moments of him falling flat on his face when gravity reminded him

Also, pants. Hell, clothes in general took a lot of getting used to. Back home, Mermen going nude was the norm. Thanks to their tails hiding their...um...well...you know what I mean. Even though he no longer forgot to get dressed anymore, that didn't mean that he liked the feeling of clothes on his body, it just felt so weird after having gone his whole life in his birthday suit. He however, outright refuse to wear underwear. He understood the need for pants to cover up his...you know what, he saw them as redundant, especially since he wasn't supposed to wear only them in public

Changes aside, Arthur found himself thoroughly enjoying himself on land. He was able to see and experience so many new things up here. It was truly a treat

I'm loving the Differences idea. It gave me a wonderful idea for a Farfetch'd. But I didn't like the idea of a Pokemon that didn't evolve. So I might just go with another Normal/Bird type and make it fight like a Farfetch'd....maybe a Pidgy

"Africa!?" Mike jumped in surprise. Looking at the assignment that his Meister was looking at before "Wanted... a Tikoloshe killing people every night.... need help... dead or alive?" Well that's just great. They had practically nothing to go on! How the hell were they supposed to find this guy. While Mike would admit that he wasn't really great at geography, he did know that Africa was a really damn big place "oh...oh wow. We're going to need to pack a lot of food. Mostly cold things if Africa is as hot as I've been led to believe. Maybe some chilled fruit. We'd also need to take a cooler along. The one I have should be big enough" he started trailing off as he began to plan out their menu for the trip "hey Amellia, do you have any kind of food allergies?" Mike had to mental facepalm when he realized that he was just know asking this. "I'm worried that this is going to take awhile, The closet thing we have to a lead is that he's in Africa. Which is a lot less then most detectives have when working on a murder. At least they can narrow down the culprit's location to town or city"
