Kamina was lost. Clearly this Eevee needed the fires of her youth to blaze brighter, however his words of encouragement only seemed to agitate her. Truly a quandary. Maybe in battle, that seemed like a safe bet. Until then, all he could do was wait, for a chance would come, he just needed to be patient. First things first though, they had to pass whatever trials this 'guild' had.

Mike had never been in Amellia's home before. Sure, he had gone to her house to meet up with her, but he hadn't been inside. So as he walked to the dining room, he couldn't help but feel that the place felt...empty, like something was missing. Shaking it off, he sat down at the dining room table. It was overloaded with food, Mike found himself wondering why she had cooked so much. Then she took the cover off of the center piece and poured him a glass of apple juice. So the centerpiece was meat eh? That must mean it's the dish she has the most faith in. Taking a large piece of meat with his fork, he cut off a bite sized piece and ate it. "It's not dry" he said to himself, pleased. While it might have sounded odd to others, drying out a piece of meat was the quickest way to ruin it. That Amellia kept it nice and juicy said a lot about her ability to cook. Taking another bite, he noticed something else "getting a little wild with the spice?" he asked her, with his best attempt at a cheeky smile. He had tasted 3 different spices in the meat. Not that it was a bad thing, some spices complemented each other well. Hell, he knew about a few dishes that use at least ten different spices. Quickly remembering that this wasn't someone looking for an in depth criticism, but a girl he was on a date (maybe, he still wasn't sure) with, he quickly added "it's good"

Personality: Simo is surprisingly sweet for someone who can pick you off from across a football field. Cheerful and outgoing, he love to meet new people...unfortunately, his father wasn't too great at social interaction, so a few of his more stupid move were passed onto his son

History: Simo was raised by his widower father in a cabin in the forest. There, he learned how to hunt and track, as well as how to handle a gun. He started out with a simple bolt action rife, but switched over to a sniper when he found an abandoned sniper rife in the forest one day. In order to get around faster, Simo would often travel through the trees, this also made it easier to avoid getting spotted by any potential pray.

One day, his father left home, telling his son that he had a lot of old business to take care of. A few days latter, Simo decided to venture off himself, eventually making his way to Lunaris...

Check my previous post if you want an explanation. :) I don't mean ill will to anyone, but I've never been a pushover. I don't think today is an acceptable day to be walked on either. Just like Soul said, if he/she had concerns they could have easily PMed me. I would have been more than understanding. I probably would have added a completely new ability to pacify Card Captor if it had been handled right. I'm always down for constructive criticism, but I'm never okay with plain old criticism. :) That's just the way it is.

But I thought I was handling it the right way.

This post was supposed to do three things:

1; Explain why I wanted to forgo 2 artes for one super powered one
2; Let you know that I wasn't going to try to fight or argue your decision
3; Explain how I was planning on handling it

It wasn't meant as in insult! Also, I never said that your artes were bad, just that I didn't like them. Although I admit I should have been more clear and said that I didn't like them for a Dragoon. It's not that they're bad, they're just fine. It's just that when I think of a Dragoon, I think of this. I was honestly shocked that you took it the way you did. Not only that, but I had no idea that custom artes were even an option. That was why I asked about having one super arte; that was the idea that I thought up of to get around that problem

Each one is there for a reason though it may not be very clear to you as the player. Frankly, I take that as an insult. You would probably be better off going elsewhere. Different dragons will have differing specialties. So when you attempt to jump in the air and you're smashed into the ground as a result you'll probably be wishing that you had Drakkenhide, eh?Good day sir.

The reason the characters are graduating from the Academy is because they have mastered at least two of the artes, so no, there isn't really going to be a higher level of mastery of any of the artes.
