@Shadow Dragon, it depends because the solution differs from person to person. But I just chat with my lover or play games with friends. Watch "Memes" with them. Ultimately, the little things.

Just tried Long Island Ice tea for the first time. I can see why people love this. Life is good.

@Kazemitsu Also, I see what you mean now, it was probably the auto correct, my bad.

I re-read it going. "Uhh... I don't think he sees it as a duck. That would not be right."
....How is Kaze quaking? Wut?

It's more of how Cas perceives it. As in his footsteps are shaking the foundation to him. Or at the very least. "Well, I know exactly where he is coming from."
@SimpleWriter

I forget how badly words through a screen conveys emotion and sarcasm. Face to face, it never really was an issue. If you see me, you know I'm neither an ass nor a heartless bastard.

Just a honest idiot. ;)

More convinced by that last part.~
Geez.

Didn't know you guys were the soft type. Sorry if it made you uncomfortable. I do it so often with my friends IRL that I forget not everyone understand how un-serious it is.

To me, it's a way to mock what evil was done and remove the power it hold on modern minds. If you refuse to talk and joke about it, it means the Terror won and it leaves a permanent scar. It would be different if it was recent, but this is over 70 years ago. I do same jokes with any Historical events from Antiquity to Modernity.

Anyyyyhow, I know how to admit I was at fault when I was, and I was. Sorry. Extra sorry if anyone here has any ties to what atrocity was perpetuated back then. It will not happen again.

I'm not mad, it is just my best friend has family that died in that sorta thing, and normally I would never try to take offense in place of someone.

Hell, I have my own dark sense of humor, but behind closed doors. And I agree, removing terror of something is empowering, but there are ways some things come off as tasteless and sometimes just insensitive, which just removes the human element. And I'm not the biggest... Empathetic person, but I believe there are just some boundaries some people need to realize.

(Which is funny, because I'm the type to mock SJWs in most cases because they are extremely one sided in most cases and will try to silence any "Politically inCorrect" thing. And yeah, Humor should not be politically correct. But at the same time, I don't think we should joke about mass genocide or things like 9/11. Same to Cancer. Literally anyone can develop it and it can be fatal. Same to any debilitating illness or things that effect the mental state of someone.)

My point is, some things are just better behind closed doors rather than out and about.
Like if you call someone a bitch for being a bit snippy, the world just would suddenly turn on you in that thread.
Which it is why it is better to just avoid that, or make it tasteful so we can wink and nudge at each other. That is all I'm saying.

Otherwise you just attach a bad stigma to you, and the thread.
My fingers drip black humour.

I studied in History, though, so I've legally got the right for it... Right? :^)

Pretty sure most curriculum mandate the studying of history. And while everyone has Black humor to a degree, usually there is... a boundary you have.

It's like joking about massacres to people, and you find out they have heritage that died in that. It suddenly becomes a lot less funny.
Why is there nothing going on for days, but when I'm at work in like 2 hours the OOC fills up faster than concentration camps in 1942?

Yeah, I'm not going to touch that one...
@UltimoScorpIt's fine, I was just teasing.

I'm typically pretty sarcastic, so if I point the finger here or there, it just a laughing wink sorta thing. I hope that clears the air a bit. XD
@UltimoScorp

I mean, you kinda just ignored the Medic.

So it begins.
The Tribunal made note of everyone from the monitoring room... Everyone certainly had personality... "Haughty... Coward... Self Righteous... condescending... cruel... jaded... You don't get to choose your family." These were the thoughts going in his head as he oversaw them, bickering like children when cooperation was needed. The Tribunal didn't feel very comfortable at first, but he felt amused to see them squabble... and some outright shake in contained fury, fear. It was hard not to have some type of laughter that he had to contain, the way he saw it? They needed to drop their egos.

As they entered the room, he wasn't wearing his combat armor, for why should he feel fearful of his new family? He stood up, wearing a Black body suit with straps, and belts holding delicate equipment, he raised his goggles with his left hand as he made eye contact with each one of them as they entered the room. Upon being introduced, he gave a silent, stoic nod to the Admiral, before his eyes began to size them up. There was the tall quakeing dragon, interesting shade he thought, granted he didn't know of their race till about two hours ago, where he was reviewing profiles in an office before being brought to see a failsafe -- something to help hold a leash if a situation goes down the drain -- Zen. While he was wary about Zen, it was nice to know the Machine was unlikely to turn on him, unlike a Certain Motherbrain. Granted... He heard rumors of the Aurora units, but to which he knows they've been competent as far as Whispers go. But that was neither here nor there.

As the Zebesians were funneled into the combat gallery as he'd call it, he couldn't help but feel sorry for a creature that could not defend it self, but in the rules of war, a fair fight, is simply bad tactics. Needless to say, this demonstration did not surprise him after the first few. He just thought it looked routine at this point. Brutality was too... basic to describe it... It was simply well calculated.

As the Admiral let them be, he gave a proper salute as they did in the federation, before properly standing from where he was.
From there, he turned to address them as a collective; fitting based on where he is from, and what he represented. "As you know, I'm Tribunal Svent, and I plan to keep all of you safe as I can while going through hostile space, and through hell itself if need be. To that end, I extend you all my hand, but do not try to twist it, and all I ask is for your cooperation. I do not care for your politics, or your stances. I care about efficiency. Nothing less. So while we are together, we are a big family... We may fight, we may squabble... but save your strength for the battle; the mission." He had a slight lisp, simply just how his voice was. "All in agreement?" Keeping it simple was his goal.
May I make a first post? Mostly so people have something to see other than a T posing alien with no dialog yet? XD
