I’m still searching but this time for more Final Fantasy roleplays.

Oceanus Research Facility

“Shut up… I don’t want to talk right now…” Tidus muttered softly before he ended up swimming into the corner of his enclosure. While he opted to also curl up within said enclosure, he remained completely silent as he did so with the only sign that he was still moving being the occasional flick of his tail.

“I am Vaan. I do not know the reason why I was brought here however, all I do know is that I’m pretty much stuck here for the time being.” Vaan muttered softly before he ended up jumping into the lagoon. While this triggered an automatic shift from his human form into his merfolk form as soon as he hit the water, he also ended up poking his head out of the water as well.

The Citadel

“Bartz is already unconscious due to almost drowning! I need to get him out of here before anything else ends up happening.” Vaan said before he ended up throwing a fireball at the door. His hope would be that he would be able to destroy the door and get Bartz out of the room however, he wasn’t sure how well his plan would end up working in the long run.

“Don’t joke around with people like that! It’s not really nice you know!” Tidus said before he ended up quickly sinking to the bottom of his enclosure. While he didn’t feel like moving around a whole lot or exploring his current location, one could also guess that he wasn’t moving around a whole lot due to the fact that he was currently injured and still had fresh injuries underneath his bandages. Of course, he chose not to spoke about this but rather, also chose to remain completely silent as well.

Vaan appears to be a 17 year old boy with ashen blonde hair, blue-grey eyes with cat-like pupils, two purplish blackish dragon wings on his back, sharpened claw-like fingernails, and two small but rather sharp fangs in his mouth. He stands at about 5’7” in terms of height and also wears an outfit that appears to have come straight out of a fantasy game.

Personality: While normally coming off as naive at first, Vaan is a rather cheerful person who is fiercely loyal. However, there are more sides of his personality have come to light including his stubbornness. This stubbornness can cause him to end up in some dangerous situations. He is also reckless sometimes which can add to the danger that he can bring to himself.

Appearance:

Human Form: Shown in the image. As shown in the image, Tidus is a blonde haired boy with blue eyes that stands at around 5’9” in terms of height. He often wears the clothing shown in the images above although he does take on a slightly different appearance in his merfolk form.
Merfolk Form: His merfolk form is almost the same as his human form with the exception of the cerulean colored tail that glows in the dark that replaces the lower body of a human. The tail fin itself is that of a halfmoon betta fish. Also, he doesn’t wear a shirt in his merfolk form.

Personality, Powers, Abilities and Weapons
Personality: Tidus tends to be on the energetic side when it comes to his personality. While this can make him rather hard to handle at times, he can be calm although moments where he is completely calm are somewhat uncommon compared to the moments where his energetic nature shines through. He is also somewhat childish although he can also be serious when the situation calls for it. He is also rather friendly which has been witnessed by many people who interact with him. Oh and he does not like his dad whatsoever.
Powers:
•Immortality - Due to being a merman (Merfolk in his world do not age past a certain point.), Tidus cannot age past 18 years of age and for some odd reason, is also immune to dying via poison and disease. However, this ability doesn’t protect him from getting injured.
•Shapeshifting - From human form to merfolk form. Tidus is able to switch between a human form meant for land and his merfolk form which is meant for the water.
• Spellcasting (Magic) - Basically Magic. It has various weaknesses depending on the kind of magic and different elements are effective against one another. For example, Fire magic is rather effective on ice magic but it is beaten by Water Magic. Similarly, light magic and dark magic are weak to one another. Also, not casting a spell correctly can lead to some disastrous consequences.
• The ability to breathe underwater (PASSIVE ABILITY)
•Weapon Summoning - The user is able to summon weapons from a pocket dimension that acts as a storage space for them. Currently, the only weapon type that Tidus is able to summon from that are swords. (Sealed away by the residents of Ravenwood)
Abilities:
•Tsunami - The user summons a massive wave of water to attack their foes with. This ability is most often used by sea dragons and Leviathan herself although Tidus is able to use it as well.
•Energy Rain: This attack requires for Tidus to jump off of an enemy or an object into the air where he then charges mystical energy into his sword before throwing down said energy to explode on his foes (ACTIVE ABILITY) (Only usable in human form)
• Blitz Ace - Probably his most notable ability, this ability also requires the use of mobility since Tidus slices at his enemy eight times before using the hilt of his sword to leap into the air before he kicks a Blitzball into his target which… explodes on impact. This ability isn’t powerful enough to destroy a mountain but it can cause a lot of damage. (ACTIVE ABILITY) (Usable in both forms although in his merfolk form, he swims upwards instead of using the hilt of his sword to leap into the air and smacks the exploding blitzball into his opponent by using his tail.)

•Half of his abilities might not work. Specifically, his more powerful abilities such as Tsunami, Energy Rain, and Blitz Ace have been sealed away and his weapon summoning ability has also been sealed away.

Appearance: Firion is an 18 year old male with long silvery white hair (often ties back into a low ponytail) and pale brown eyes. He is around 6’0 in terms of height and also has two small but razor sharp fangs in his mouth that are a sign of him being a vampire.

Personality, Powers, Abilities and Weapons
Personality: While he normally acts rather cold at first, Firion tends to be rather friendly and loyal to those he trusts. This is because he sees them as trustworthy however, it’s also very possible for someone to lose his trust if he sees them doing something that he considers to be immoral (He considers murder, cannibalism, and the sort immoral). He is also strong willed and has a strong sense of justice although this ends up with people seeing him as uptight. In terms of negative traits, he is hot-blooded which can land him in trouble if he isn’t careful. Another somewhat negative trait he has is how he will not admit his true feelings towards someone. This tends to make it somewhat difficult to communicate with him should he attempt to hide the fact that he has been harmed. He is also stubborn. He has attempted to continue to fight off a Behemoth in the past despite how severe his injuries were at the time. Finally, he can be a little overprotective of those he loves at times.

Bartz has short brown hair, one brown eye and one grey eye (because I couldn’t choose between them so why not both?) and does tend to wear an outfit that is straight out of a fantasy game. He is 5’7” in terms of height and weighs 127.8 lbs. He also has two faerie wings with a crystalline pattern on his back that are normally hidden by the cape that he wears.

Personality, Powers, Abilities and Weapons
Personality: While he’s normally an easygoing and friendly individual, Bartz is so much more than just a cheerful young man all the time. While he does enjoy being around other people, there are times where he would prefer to be left alone such as when he starts becoming overwhelmed by his emotions. At this point, he will excuse himself from any social interactions in a polite manner while he tries to process his emotions. He is also overly trusting which tends to make him more susceptible to being captured by an enemy. This is the reason why those who are on the same team as him receive a recommendation to keep an eye on him so that he won’t end up being captured. Aside from being overly trusting, he has trouble verbalizing difficult emotions and has a fear of heights (Acrophobia). He is also rather innocent and doesn’t understand some concepts of the world.
Powers:
•Spellcasting - Basically Magic. It has various weaknesses depending on the kind of magic and different elements are effective against one another. •Whisperwind/Heavenswind - Whisperwind and Heavenswind are Sylph’s signature abilities although Bartz can use them. Both of them are wind elemental attacks and are pretty powerful as well. Whisperwind is also useful for helping wounds equivalent to about a fraction of the damage that the ability causes. If others are present in Bartz’s party, the total amount of damage caused by the ability is split between him and other members of the party.
•Weapon summoning - Pretty self explanatory, Bartz is able to summon weapons although it is limited to the 12 sealed weapons and the Brave Blade. (The 12 sealed weapons are the Excalibur (sword), Masamune (katana), Rune Axe (axe), Apollo’s Harp (harp), Yoichi Bow (bow), Assassin’s Dagger (dagger), Sasuke’s Katana (short sword), Fire Lash (whip), Gaia’s Bell (bell), Holy Lance (Spear), Sage’s Staff (staff) and then Magus Rod (rod).) (Probably sealed by the entities when he arrived at the mansion)

•Able to adapt to another’s fighting style rather quickly.

Things You Are Excited About

Finally being 18 (in less than 24 hours). I will no longer have to deal with being unable to join SFW roleplays that are 18+ although larger age gates such as 20+ and 21+ will still be an issue.

Oh and possibly getting a Nintendo Switch as well especially considering that 3DS games are now harder to find due to the 3DS e-shop being closed down.
